Abstract: A user device may output an indication of an incoming call from a calling device. The user device may receive a request to screen the incoming call. The user device may analyze a transcription of voice input, received from the calling device, for one or more keywords related to a request for funds. The user device may output one or more input options, which permit a user of the user device to respond to the request for funds, including an input option to transfer funds from a first account associated with the user device to a second account associated with the calling device. The user device may detect a user interaction with the input option to transfer funds from the first account to the second account. The user device may transmit a request that causes funds to be transferred from the first account to the second account.
Abstract: Techniques for RAID reconstruction involve: determining, from a task list, multiple stripes in a RAID that are involved in a to-be-processed task within a current task window, the task list including an external I/O request task and an internal reconstruction I/O request task, and each stripe including data on a first number of data disks and data on a second number of parity disks; reading data from the multiple stripes into a read buffer; and if data of the first number of data disks in a stripe among the multiple stripes has already been read into the read buffer, performing the internal reconstruction I/O request task on the stripe. Such a technique helps to increase the processing power and efficiency of the data storage system to recover the reconstruction of RAID stripes while coping with external I/O requests.
Abstract: Embodiments relate to a hydraulic fracturing system that includes a blender unit. The system includes an auger and hopper assembly to receive proppant from a proppant source and feed the proppant to the blender unit for mixing with a fluid. A first power source is used to power the blender unit in order to mix the proppant with the fluid and prepare a fracturing slurry. A second power source independently powers the auger and hopper assembly in order to align the hopper of the auger and hopper assembly with a proppant feed from the proppant source. Thus, the auger and hopper assembly can be stowed or deployed without use of the first power source, which is the main power supply to the blender unit.
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to a computation unit implementing a systolic array and configured for detecting errors while processing data on the systolic array. Checksum circuit in communication with a systolic array is configured to compute checksums and perform error detection while the systolic array processes input data. Instead of pre-generating checksums in input matrices, input matrices can be directly fed into the systolic array through the checksum circuit. On the output side, the checksum circuit can generate and compare checksums with checksums in an output matrix generated by the systolic array. Error checking the operations to generate the output matrix can be performed without delaying the operations of the systolic array, and without preprocessing the input matrices.
Abstract: A vehicle, a vehicle electronics power assembly, and a method for providing and cooling an inductor assembly are provided. The vehicle has provided with a vehicle electrical system with a variable voltage converter (VVC) and an inductor assembly with a core and a winding. A housing is provided with a first housing member and a second housing member. The first and second housing members cooperate to encapsulate the winding and at least a portion of the core of the inductor assembly. The first housing member defines a first inlet and a first outlet, and the second housing member defines a second inlet and a second outlet. A fluid system is connected to the first inlet, the second inlet, the first outlet, and the second outlet to provide pressurized fluid to the first and second inlets to circulate fluid through the housing.
Abstract: The invention relates to radiation-treated reinforcement fibers, reinforced asphalt and portland cement concrete, and grout, methods for producing the same and application for their use. The radiation treatment includes exposing reinforcement fibers to electromagnetic energy, e.g., gamma rays, and/or electron-beam (E-beam) radiation. As a result of the treatment, the radiation-treated reinforcement fibers have a modified or deformed surface, e.g., an abraded and/or porous surface, as compared to reinforcement fibers without a radiation treatment.

Abstract: Systems and methods for guided lung coverage and automated detection using ultrasound devices are disclosed. The method for guided coverage and automated detection of pathologies of a subject includes positioning an ultrasound probe on a region of the subject body to be imaged. The method includes capturing a video of the subject and processing the video to generate a torso image of the subject and identify location of the ultrasound probe on the subject body. The method includes registering the video to an anatomical atlas to generate a mask of the region of the subject body comprising a plurality of sub-regions of the subject body to be imaged and superimposing the mask over the torso image. The method further includes displaying an indicator corresponding to a location of the each of the plurality of the sub-regions on the torso image.
Abstract: A system for a vehicle includes a plurality of sensors onboard the vehicle and a controller. A first sensor of the plurality of sensors is configured to detect lane markings on a roadway. The controller is configured to store data from the plurality of sensors. In response to receiving an indication indicating a misdetection of lane markings on the roadway based on data received from the first sensor, the controller is configured to execute in parallel a plurality of procedures configured to detect a plurality of causes for the misdetection of lane markings, respectively, based on the stored data; isolate one of the causes as a root cause for the misdetection of lane markings; and provide a response for mitigating the misdetection of lane markings on the roadway based on the root cause for the misdetection of lane markings.

Abstract: A portable flight navigation tool has a tablet computer with GPS, and memory with an aviation database with international operating rules including transoceanic flight rules, a moving-map database with tracks, coastal airport identifiers and locations, and predefined reporting point locations for transoceanic operations. The navigation tool includes machine readable code for displaying the operating rules, reading locations from the GPS while indicating them on a moving map display, and a trip database with a planned transoceanic route for an individual flight configured by entry of waypoints or names and selection of predefined tracks. The tool has a checklist database and displays checklists for pre-departure, coast-out flight phase, waypoint-reached, and a coast-in flight phases; and may provide a heading and next-waypoint timing for rhumb-line routes from GPS failure locations to the next waypoint of the active route. The tool links as a master/secondary pair with another like tool.
Abstract: A system includes one or more memory devices storing instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to perform steps of a method for providing customer data access during a migration process. The system may initiate a transfer of customer data from a source data server to a system platform and transfer a subset of the customer data to a temporary data storage. The system may modify the temporary copy of customer data and generate an instruction to modify the permanent copy of customer data. In response to the completion of the transfer of customer data from the source data server to the system mainframe, the system may then transfer and execute the instruction to modify the permanent copy of customer data.
