The back support portion substantially resists backward motion and provides substantially continuous therapeutic support to the user's spine pending a release signal.

Abstract: Techniques for RAID reconstruction involve: determining, from a task list, multiple stripes in a RAID that are involved in a to-be-processed task within a current task window, the task list including an external I/O request task and an internal reconstruction I/O request task, and each stripe including data on a first number of data disks and data on a second number of parity disks; reading data from the multiple stripes into a read buffer; and if data of the first number of data disks in a stripe among the multiple stripes has already been read into the read buffer, performing the internal reconstruction I/O request task on the stripe. Such a technique helps to increase the processing power and efficiency of the data storage system to recover the reconstruction of RAID stripes while coping with external I/O requests.

Abstract: A device may receive a preauthorization associated with missed transaction prevention for a transaction account of a user, wherein the missed transaction prevention involves preventing a missed transaction associated with merchant accounts of the user. The device may monitor a transaction log of the transaction account and identify a transaction pattern associated with a merchant account based on a plurality of historical transactions identified in the transaction log related to the merchant account. The device may determine that a historical transaction of the plurality of historical transactions is not designated for automatic execution and that an execution of an upcoming transaction corresponding to the plurality of historical transactions is not scheduled. The device may cause an account transaction associated with the upcoming transaction to be automatically executed before a transaction period expiration, associated with the merchant account, passes.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a computing system may receive, from a first electronic device associated with a first user, a first request to generate a link associated with an artificial reality application and an action to be performed by the artificial reality application. The computing system may then generate a link to instructions that are executable on an artificial reality device to cause the artificial reality device to launch the artificial reality application and perform the action. The computing system may then receive, from a second electronic device associated with a second user, an indication that the second user activated the link on the second electronic device, and send the instructions associated with the link to an artificial reality device associated with the second user to cause the artificial reality device associated with the second user to launch the artificial reality application and perform the action.

Abstract: A hopper extension includes forward and rearward walls connected by first and second side walls to form a container area having an upper opening and a lower opening. The lower opening includes a mating interface that slidably interfaces with an existing hopper. The hopper extension further includes a ramped wall extending from each of the forward, rearward, first side and second side walls to form a seed opening positioned intermediate the upper and lower openings. An underside of at least one of the ramped walls defining an air cavity that is placed over an air grate of an existing hopper when the hopper extension is secured thereto.

Abstract: A coke product configured to be used in foundry cupolas to melt iron and produce cast iron products is disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the coke product has a Coke Reactivity Index (CRI) of at least 30% and an ash fusion temperature (AFT) less than 1316° C. Additionally or alternatively, the coke product can comprise (i) an ash content of at least 8.0%, (ii) a volatile matter content of no more than 1.0%, (iii) a Coke Strength After Reaction (CSR) of no more than 40%, (iv) a 2-inch drop shatter of at least 90%, and//or (v) a fixed carbon content of at least 85%.

Abstract: The disclosure features various embodiments and aspects of a chest for quenching beverages. The chest can include a tank for holding a chilled mixture of ice and water, an ice maker adapted for making ice having an output for ejecting ice into a conduit in fluid communication with the tank, and a plurality of quench trays disposed above the tank for holding containers of beverages located in first and second positions. The trays can be filled with cold water by way of a conduit in fluid communication with the tank. The quench trays can include a compartment defined by a bottom and a plurality of walls, and defining therein a plurality of rows for aligning and containing a plurality of beverage containers. The drawers can further include at least one drain orifice configured to guide water out of the quench tray.

The radiation treatment includes exposing reinforcement fibers to electromagnetic energy, e.g., gamma rays, and/or electron-beam (E-beam) radiation. As a result of the treatment, the radiation-treated reinforcement fibers have a modified or deformed surface, e.g., an abraded and/or porous surface, as compared to reinforcement fibers without a radiation treatment.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for processing and reconciling data traffic utilization information from a variety of sources including client devices and service provider networks are described. The methods take into consideration that wireless devices tracking usage data may not accurately reflect the amount of usage measured by network devices. This may be because of overhead the client devices are not aware of or because different measurement techniques or accounting metrics are used by the service provider network. The methods and apparatus may and sometimes do take into consideration that while some client devices, e.g., android devices, may trach and report usage aid/or location information through the use of an application which provides such information to the network service provider, such information may not be readily available from other devices such Apple iOS devices. The described data tracking and location assignment methods are used in some embodiments to determine base station placement.

For example, the system may include one or more memory units storing instructions and one or more processors configured to execute the instructions to perform operations. The operations may include receiving, from a user device, an input indicating a segment of a first recorded call and an attribute associated with the segment. The operations may include determining a parameter of a model, wherein the model is associated with the attribute. The operations may include changing the parameter based on the input. The operations may include generating an updated model based on the changed parameter, wherein the updated model may be configured to analyze recorded calls having one or more segments with the same attribute.

Abstract: An apparatus and a system are disclosed for preventing fuel starvation in an off-road vehicle that may be operated on a severely inclined surface. A vehicle having a fuel tank for a fuel delivery module disposed in the fuel tank. A fuel pump assembly is disposed in the fuel tank and a slip ring joint is assembled to the fuel delivery module. One or more tubes are assembled to the slip ring joint that extends and retracts relative to the slip ring joint toward and away from the walls of the fuel tank. A remote fuel pick-up is assembled to the tube so that when the vehicle is operated on an inclined surface, the remote fuel pick-up is extended and rotates inside the fuel tank to move toward and away from an inner surface of the fuel tank and follows the fuel contained in the fuel tank.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for providing query suggestions to a user based on one or more past queries submitted by the user. Candidate query suggestions responsive to a current query may be identified. A candidate query similarity measure may be determined for a given candidate query suggestion based on matching entities related to the given candidate query suggestion and the one or more past queries. In some implementations, the similarity measure of the given candidate query suggestion may be based on a comparison of current entities of the given candidate query suggestion that match entities of one or more past queries, to a group of the current entities that includes entities that do not match the entities of one or more past queries. In some implementations a ranking of the candidate query suggestions may be determined based on the similarity measure.

Abstract: A fiber-reinforced polymer composition a plurality of continuous fibers embedded and distributed within a thermoplastic polymer matrix is provided. The thermoplastic polymer matrix constitutes from about 20 wt. % to about 90 wt. % of the composition and the continuous fibers constitute from about 10 wt. % to about 80 wt. % of the composition. Further, the polymer composition has a deflection temperature under load of about 60° C. or more as determined in accordance with ISO 75:2013 at a load of 3.5 MPa.

Abstract: Technologies are disclosed for improving the deployment of a cloud-hosted service. Before being deployed to a particular environment, a cloud-hosted service must be configured for that environment. Configuring a deployment includes determining which components to deploy, determining how to connect with external components, identifying onboarding procedures, etc. A dependency data model defines a hierarchy of components utilized by the cloud-hosted service. For each component in the hierarchy, configuration parameters define how to deploy that component. A list of configuration parameters that do not yet have values for a target environment may be generated and provided to a user. Values for these parameters may then be received. A configuration for the target environment is then generated based on the dependency data model and the received values. The dependency data model may inherit dependencies and configuration properties from ancestors in a hierarchy of dependency data models.

Abstract: Embodiments relate to a hydraulic fracturing system that includes a blender unit. The system includes an auger and hopper assembly to receive proppant from a proppant source and feed the proppant to the blender unit for mixing with a fluid. A first power source is used to power the blender unit in order to mix the proppant with the fluid and prepare a fracturing slurry. A second power source independently powers the auger and hopper assembly in order to align the hopper of the auger and hopper assembly with a proppant feed from the proppant source. Thus, the auger and hopper assembly can be stowed or deployed without use of the first power source, which is the main power supply to the blender unit.
