  • Patent number: 11846811
Abstract: A fiber optic connector with a hub extension positioned on the hub of the connector. Prior to assembly of the connector with the rear boot, the hub and ferrule assembly can be pushed backward within the front and rear housings to clear an anti-rotation portion of the front housing and turned for tuning. After complete assembly of the rear boot, the hub extension bottoms out against the boot prior to the hub and ferrule assembly disengaging the anti-rotation portion of the front housing, thereby maintaining the tuned position.

  • Patent number: 11844733
Abstract: A patient securing overlay includes a sheet of fabric configured to support a patient's torso on a surgical table. The sheet of fabric includes friction enhancing elements applied to at least a portion of an upper surface. The sheet of fabric is attached near its side edges to two or more side flaps that extend laterally outward from the side edges of the sheet of fabric. Each of the side flaps is attached to the surgical table at two or more attachment points. A distance between adjacent attachment points is greater than a distance between an attachment point and the sheet of fabric in order to naturally create a favorable retaining force vector angle of less than 45° between the attachment point and the sheet of fabric.

  • Patent number: 11846978
Abstract: Discovering environment objects for information management in a networked environment. Information management provides services such as data protection, backup, retention, compliance, etc., by classifying the objects and/or infrastructure of an entity according to its value to the entity. Information management begins by discovering the data in a network and by discovering the servers and services operating in a network. The servers and services are discovered using adapters that can collect information regarding the environment objects. Objects can be discovered using cascaded discovery, where the information collected by one adapter is used to drive the collection of additional information by other adapters. This information can then by used by information management systems to assign or orchestrate various services.

  • Patent number: 11845467
Abstract: The disclosure generally pertains to systems and methods for directing a parked autonomous vehicle to travel autonomously from a parking spot to a pickup spot. In one example scenario, a user of a user device such as a smartphone, may launch a software application in the smartphone for summoning the autonomous vehicle that is parked in a parking lot or a road, for example. The software application displays a graphical rendering of the parking area together with an icon that can be dragged and dropped by the user at any convenient pickup spot in a valid drivable area shown on the graphical rendering. The user places the icon upon a desired pickup spot and the smartphone transmits a command to the autonomous vehicle to travel to the pickup spot. A real-time representation of a progress of the autonomous vehicle towards the pickup spot may be displayed on the user device.
