  • Patent number: 11829265
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer-readable storage media for uncorrectable memory recovery. Different sources of uncorrectable memory error are handled to provide for recovery actions by a host kernel of a machine hosting one or more virtual machines. Rather than defaulting to kernel panic behavior, the host kernel can identify the source of uncorrectable error, and cause the host machine and/or the affected virtual machines to take recovery action that is less disruptive than abrupt shutdown from panic. For example, the host kernel can handle uncorrectable memory error caused by kernel accesses to guest memory of a host virtual machine, as well as uncorrectable memory error improperly raised as a result of known defects in host machine hardware. The host kernel can also be configured to detect sources of overflow in exceptions raised by a processor as a result of uncorrectable memory error.

  • Patent number: 11829416
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a new framework and associated techniques, referred to herein as “ego-splitting,” that enable the detection of clusters in graphs that are descriptive of networks, including highly complex networks. Ego-splitting leverages local structures within a graph known as ego-nets to de-couple overlapping clusters. For example, an ego-net can be the subgraph induced by the neighborhood of each node. Ego-splitting is a highly scalable and flexible framework, with provable theoretical guarantees. Ego-splitting reduces the complex overlapping clustering problem to a simpler and more amenable non-overlapping (also known as partitioning) problem. Ego-splitting enables the scaling of community detection to graphs with tens of billions of edges and outperforms previous solutions.

  • Patent number: 11825946
Abstract: A modular floating shelf system comprises a modular floating shelf bracket mounting a shelf to a wall and with the modular floating shelf bracket being contained in and hidden by the shelf. The modular floating shelf bracket comprises at least two bracket modules, including a main bracket and an extension bracket, selectively coupleable together. A coupler plate is coupled to a proximal end of an extension mounting plate and overhangs a seam between the extension mounting plate and a main mounting plate. A bore extends through the overhang of the coupler plate and receives a cantilevered main beams of the main bracket. The main and extension brackets can be selectively coupled together to accommodate wider shelves.

  • Patent number: 11826957
Abstract: One embodiment of the invention may relate to a print surface for a three-dimensional object printer. The print surface may comprise an elastic first layer, a binding layer for securing the printing surface to the three-dimensional object printer; and an adhesive layer for adhering the first layer to the binding layer. Three-dimensional objects are printed onto the first layer by controlled extrusion of molten material. Printed objects can be obtained by decoupling the binding layer from the three-dimensional object printer and detaching the object from the first layer by applying bending moments.

  • Patent number: 11831132
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an identifier-coding system for use in disaster recovery. The system allows a user to track the use of different single-phase power circuits from a centrally located, three-phase generator to one or more remote worksites, including by visual identification of each downstream ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) outlet. The present system also provides tracking from a three-phase distribution panel to the remote power outlet modules to simplify fault correction if an overload or short circuit were to occur.

  • Patent number: 11829592
Abstract: Methods and systems for improved integration of an overhead representation (e.g., a map) with a street view representation. A user interface with at least two regions is output for display to a user. One region includes an overhead representation of an area and an interactive control overlaid onto the overhead representation. Another region includes a street view perspective that has a point of view corresponding to a position and directional orientation of the interactive control. Information about a user input that adjusts the interactive control is received and the street view perspective is updated to track the control as it is adjusted. The field of view of the street view perspective may be reflected in the appearance of the interactive control. Additionally, the street view perspective may follow the location of a marker as it is moved around the overhead representation.

  • Patent number: 11826082
Abstract: A single device desirably configured for use at complete cut location of an open door laminoplasty surgical site, and to be adjustable in size and orientation so that they may be adapted to the site at the time of surgery. The device is a one-piece construct of a base with an integrated spacer, with an extension hingedly connected to the base. The base and spacer are integrally formed of material that is not bone or bone-like, such as titanium. The spacer is devoid of void or open areas and includes arched proximal ends.

  • Patent number: 11825993
Abstract: Spindles and cover assemblies for dispensing sheet product for use with coreless sheet product rolls. The spindle may include a hollow cylindrical body, which may have an elongated channel in a sidewall; a rod which extends partially out of the body; and a spring disposed within the body in biasing contact with the rod. The rod may include a flexible tab matingly engaged within the channel, permitting the rod to translate within the hollow cylindrical body without falling out. The hollow cylindrical body may have an end with an opening bounded by an inward facing ledge, and the rod may include a radial ledge, such that the rod can translate within the body but cannot fall out due to interference between the inward facing ledge and the radial ledge. The spindle may include a friction hub disposed about and rotatable around the hollow cylindrical body between ends of the body.

  • Patent number: RE49738
Abstract: Wired portable or permanent pylon-mounted, single or multiple camera assemblies providing high-definition images, remote video parameter adjustment, real time imaging, lower camera mounting, microphone use, no overheating problems, longer run times, and installation and removal without disturbing field surface. Pylon is molded from high-density, impact resistant foam, integrated with a break-away connect providing for non-destructively breaking and remaking electrical connections. Increased content of high impact, resistant material provides player and pylon protection. Camera wiring extends internally to integral connecting base fitted with magnets for quick and accurate mating with stationary turf base. Wires in turf carry signals from camera to a fiber optic transmitter that powers the pylon cameras, converts the electrical signals to optical signals, and receives control signals converting them to electrical signals.
