Abstract: A hockey skate includes a fiber-reinforced, composite frame, or an injected plastic frame, including a boot form and integral pedestals that serve as a blade-holder. The pedestals are integral with the bottom of the boot sole and are optionally spaced relatively far apart to provide a long span between them. Abstract: A system and method of generating a player tracking prediction are described herein. A computing system retrieves a broadcast video feed for a sporting event. The computing system segments the broadcast video feed into a unified view. The computing system generates a plurality of data sets based on the plurality of trackable frames. The computing system calibrates a camera associated with each trackable frame based on the body pose information. The computing system generates a plurality of sets of short tracklets based on the plurality of trackable frames and the body pose information. The computing system connects each set of short tracklets by generating a motion field vector for each player in the plurality of trackable frames. The computing system predicts a future motion of a player based on the player's motion field vector using a neural network.

Abstract: A repeating crossbow having a pump-action reloading mechanism. The crossbow includes an elongated body with a shooting track and a holding chamber configured to house one or more projectiles. A hatch is coupled to the body and configured to move between a first position aligned with the shooting track and a second position at least partially aligned with the holding chamber. A palm rest is slidingly connected to the elongated body. Sliding the palm rest in a rearward direction causes the hatch to move from the first position into the second position. A biasing member within the holding chamber ejects a projectile onto the hatch. Sliding the palm rest in a forward direction to return to its default position causes the hatch to return to its first position, bringing the projectile into alignment with the shooting track.

In some embodiments, the gastrointestinal disorder is gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), dyspepsia (such as functional dyspepsia or functional motility disorder), gastroparesis, paralytic ileus, post-operative ileus, emesis, nausea, heartburn, intestinal pseudo-obstruction, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), constipation, enteral feeding intolerance (EFI), or esophagitis. In some embodiments, the gastrointestinal disorder is post-operative ileus, chronic grass sickness, constipation, megacolon, gastritis, gastrointestinal stasis, or abomasal emptying defect.
Abstract: The technologies described herein relate to a computing architecture in an autonomous vehicle (AV). The AV includes a radar system that includes a local data processing device. The AV also includes a centralized data processing device. The local data processing device is configured to perform processing on raw sensor data generated by the radar system to form a feature vector. The local data processing device transmits the feature vector to the centralized data processing device, which performs further processing to identify an object in an environment of the AV.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products are provided that construct and execute multi-step query plans in a database application. A database application accepts a query such as, for example, a graph query. The database application generates a physical query plan comprising a set of execution steps that perform the query. The set of execution steps comprises at least an initial step, an intermediate step and a final step. The database executes the query by passing control to the initial step that, when complete, passes execution control to some other step. The intermediate step executes and when complete, may pass execution control to any other step including itself. Steps may be configured to communicate arbitrary data between steps. The generated query plan may also comprise multiple multi-step sequences, and such sequences may be configured to execute in the alternative based on intermediate query results, or a parameter included in the query.

Abstract: One embodiment of the invention may relate to a print surface for a three-dimensional object printer. The print surface may comprise an elastic first layer, a binding layer for securing the printing surface to the three-dimensional object printer; and an adhesive layer for adhering the first layer to the binding layer. Three-dimensional objects are printed onto the first layer by controlled extrusion of molten material. Printed objects can be obtained by decoupling the binding layer from the three-dimensional object printer and detaching the object from the first layer by applying bending moments.
