The devices, systems and methods provide for tracking firmware versions of at least one or a fleet of IEDs, e.g., electronic power or revenue meters, notifying a user that an update to an existing firmware is available and providing the ability to automatically upload the current or latest version of the firmware to all IEDs.
Abstract: Implementations are provided for operably coupling multiple robot controllers to a single virtual environment, e.g., to generate training examples for training machine learning model(s). In various implementations, a virtual environment may be simulated that includes an interactive object and a plurality of robot avatars that are controlled independently and contemporaneously by a corresponding plurality of robot controllers that are external from the virtual environment. Sensor data generated from a perspective of each robot avatar of the plurality of robot avatars may be provided to a corresponding robot controller. Joint commands that cause actuation of one or more joints of each robot avatar may be received from the corresponding robot controller. Joint(s) of each robot avatar may be actuated pursuant to corresponding joint commands. The actuating may cause two or more of the robot avatars to act upon the interactive object in the virtual environment.

Other embodiments are disclosed herein.
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for visual displays are described. Such visual displays may be used in a retail environment to provide interactive presentations to customers. The visual displays may include a display panel, a visual source, and a controller. The display panel may present images and/or video to a user, in which the images and/or video are generated by the visual source. The controller may determine the types of images and/or video to be presented based upon communications received from a user via a communication device or a user kiosk. The display panel may be a variable height and may be offset from the floor or a shelf by a variable distance. A plurality of display panels may be arranged on a display floor to provide retail experiences to customers and/or may be received by one or more docks placed in the display floor.

Abstract: A method of joining overlapping thermoplastic geomembrane components in which a first thermoplastic geomembrane component and a second thermoplastic geomembrane component are positioned in overlapping relationship between a pair of complementary molding surfaces, with one or more of the complementary molding surfaces being defined by an electrically conductive metal susceptor. Heat is generated in the metal susceptor and transferred by thermal conduction from the metal susceptor to overlapping portions of the first and second thermoplastic geomembrane components to locally melt and coalesce a portion or more of the thermoplastic material of the first thermoplastic geomembrane component and a portion or more of the thermoplastic material of the second thermoplastic geomembrane component. The molten thermoplastic material of the first and second thermoplastic geomembrane components forms a zone of coalesced thermoplastic material that, upon cooling, forms a solid weld joint.
Abstract: An electronic indication of a nil pick is received. Item information associated with the desired product, sales data concerning the desired product, supply chain information associated with the desired product, and a perpetual inventory (PI) value of the desired product are stored. An adjustment to the PI of the desired product is blocked when a predetermined event occurs at the retail store, or when information that contradicts the validity of the nil pick is received from the retail store. When the adjustment to the PI of the desired product is not blocked, an amount of the adjustment is determined based upon one or more of: the item information associated with the product, the sales data concerning the product, and the supply chain information associated with the desired product.

Abstract: A computing apparatus of an insight interfacing system receives from a user a request for a dataset comprising a plurality of subspaces of a multi-dimensional data structure. Insights are received based on the received request then presented on a display device. Also, a chart may be presented based on the received request. The computing apparatus receives a selection of at least a portion of the presented one or more insights or a portion of the chart, then receives contextual insights based on the selected portion and presents the contextual insights on the display device.

Abstract: An apparatus for removing irradiated capsules containing produced Co-60 from a plurality of burnable absorber rodlets. The apparatus comprises a solenoid that induces an electromagnetic flux into a Co-60 capsule and magnetically locks the Co-60 capsule in parallel with the apparatus. The apparatus is slideable along a longitudinal axis of the burnable absorber rodlet and causes the Co-60 capsule to overcome holding forces exerted on it.
Abstract: Healthcare object (HCO) discriminator systems and methods are presented. Systems can obtain a digital representation of a scene via a sensor interface. An HCO discriminator platform analyzes the digital representation to discriminate objects within the scene as being associated with a type of HCO or as being unrelated to a type of HCO. Once the HCO recognition platform determines that a type of HCO is relevant, it instantiates an actual HCO. The HCO can be routed to one or more destinations based on routing rules generated from a template or based on the manner in which the objects in the scene were discriminated.

Abstract: A method optimizes an object tracking system that uses receivers to receive beacon signals, or pings, from tracking tags that are attached to objects. An optimizer receives locations of the tracking tags and groups identifiers of the tracking tags into two or more sets. The first set identifies tracking tags that are attached to objects involved in a situation of interest. The optimizer determines a first receiver group based on the locations of tracking tags in the first set and the locations of the receivers. The optimizer determines a center of a smallest three-dimensional polygon bounding the locations of tracking tags in the first set. An antenna of each receiver in the first receiver group is then steered to point towards the center of the polygon while a number of receiver events per second generated by the receiver for tracking tags in the first set increases.

Abstract: An apparatus for video decoding includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to receive a syntax element in a bit stream indicating a maximum number of merge candidates on a merge candidate list for a set of coding blocks, and receive a merge with motion vector difference (MMVD) flag syntax element in the bit stream indicating that an MMVD mode is used to generate a motion vector predictor of a current block included in the set of coding blocks. The processing circuitry is further configured to infer a base candidate index of the MMVD mode to be a predetermined value when the maximum number of the merge candidates is less than 2.
Abstract: A system may include a wearable apparatus dimensioned to be worn by a user about an axial region of the user’s body such that, when the wearable apparatus is worn by the user, the user’s field of view into a local environment is substantially free of a view of the wearable apparatus. The system may also include a machine-perception subsystem that is coupled to the wearable apparatus and that gathers information about the local environment by observing the local environment. Additionally, the system may include an experience-analysis subsystem that infers, based on the information about the local environment and information about the user, contextual information about an experience of the user in the local environment. Furthermore, the system may include a non-visual communication subsystem that outputs the contextual information about the experience of the user. Various other apparatuses, systems, and methods are also disclosed.
