Abstract: An I/O connector assembly configured for making a cabled connection to an interior portion of a printed circuit board for at least some signals passing through the I/O connector. The I/O connector assembly may be assembled by mounting a cage to a printed circuit board. A receptacle connector, including cables extending from a rear of the connector, may be inserted through an opening in the top or rear of the cage. The receptacle connector may be positioned in the cage by at least one retention member on the cage. A plug, mating to the receptacle connector, also may be positioned by a retention member on the cage. Positioning both the plug and receptacle relative to the cage reduces the tolerance stackup of the assembly and enables the connectors to be designed with shorter wipe length, which enables higher frequency operation.

Abstract: An archery assembly and method are disclosed herein. The archery assembly, in an embodiment, includes an archery riser mount. The archery riser mount has a riser mounting portion that is configured to be secured to a rear surface of a riser of an archery bow. The archery riser mount also has an adjustment assembly supported by the archery riser mount. The adjustment assembly includes first and second portions that are moveably interfaced with each other. The first portion is configured to be moved, relative to the second portion, along an axis that intersects with a vertical plane. The archery assembly has a projectile support device supported by the first portion.

Each of the plurality of independently formed camera channels includes a respective sensor, wherein the respective sensor includes circuitry that controls an integration time of the respective sensor, and a respective lens that receives incident light and transmits the incident light to the respective sensor without transmitting the incident light to respective sensor of other camera channels within the plurality of independently formed camera channels. Further, a processor that is communicatively coupled to the respective sensor of each of the plurality of independently formed camera channels. The processor is configured to receive respective images from the respective sensor of each of the plurality of independently formed camera channels, and form a combined image by combing each of the respective images.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a system to capture on-site greenhouse gas, such as carbon dioxide, from exhausts of greenhouse gas emission sources. The carbon dioxide is mixed with water to form a carbonated fracking fluid portion to combine with a proppant fracking fluid to form the fracking fluid for injection into a subsurface. The carbon dioxide in the carbonated fracking fluid portion is then sequestered into the formation through chemical attraction. The system can be an in-situ closed loop system in that the capture of the wellsite’s carbon dioxide emissions and injection into the formation occur at the same wellsite or nearby wellsites in the same field to avoid long-term surface storage and transportations. The system can be modular, scalable, and transportable. The system can be installed as decentralized individual units coupled with each greenhouse gas generating equipment at the wellsite..

Abstract: A system and method for the remote piloting of an electric aircraft is illustrated. The system comprises a remote device located outside an electric aircraft, wherein the remote device is configured to receive a flight command input from a user and transmit the flight command input to a flight controller located on the aircraft. The flight controller is located inside the aircraft and configured to receive the flight command input from the remote device and enact the flight command autonomously as a function of the flight command input.

Abstract: A control unit having a connection structure for connecting components of the control unit to a base plate which is cost effective, and facilitates heat transfer from a printed circuit board (PCB) to the base plate. The control unit includes circuitry mounted to a PCB, and the PCB is mounted to a base plate. The circuitry is over molded with epoxy material during manufacturing. The epoxy material flows between the PCB and the base plate, such that a layer of the epoxy is disposed between the PCB and the base plate. This layer of epoxy functions as a heat transfer layer, and a connection structure to connect the PCB to the base plate. The epoxy material transfers heat from the surface of the PCB in contact with the layer of epoxy to the surface of the base plate in contact with the layer of epoxy.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a bioresorbable foam closure device for trans-nasally closing an opening in a base of a skull. The closure device comprises a phase-separated polymer. The device includes a stem portion having a proximal end and a distal end, and a head portion at the distal end of the stem portion. The closure device is deformed from a free shape to a constricted shape, inserted through a nasal cavity and into the opening, and released to at least partially revert back to the free shape such that the stem portion fills the opening and the head portion abuts cranium and dura to secure the closure device in position and seal the opening.

Abstract: A battery-operated palm stapler, an insert for holding a fastener, and a method of installing a fastener using the palm stapler. The stapler includes a housing with a telescoping barrel extending outwardly therefrom. An insert is engaged in the barrel’s bore and is held in place by magnets. The insert body defines a slot for receiving fasteners therein. The slot extends from a top wall of the body to a bottom wall thereof. At least one magnet is provided in the body adjacent the slot and is used to hold fasteners in a correct orientation for installation. A sensor probe provided in the body is operable to detect if voltage is carried in electrical cables adjacent which fasteners are to be installed. The probe deactivates a hammer actuating mechanism if voltage is detected. Inserts holding different types of fastener may be selectively engaged with the palm stapler.

The method for making the styrene butadiene rubber latex compositions can include mixing a seed, a styrene, an initiator, a base, a surfactant, and a solvent; adding a first portion of 1,3-butadiene to make a first reaction mixture; heating the first reaction mixture for a first reaction time to make a first styrene butadiene rubber latex; mixing the first styrene butadiene rubber latex, a styrene, a base, an initiator, a surfactant, and a solvent; adding a second portion of 1,3-butadiene to make a second reaction mixture; and heating the second reaction mixture for a second reaction time to make a second styrene butadiene rubber latex, where the second styrene butadiene rubber latex has a solids content higher than that of the first styrene butadiene rubber latex.
