Abstract: A system for facilitating a visual inspection of an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) is provided. The system includes a transparent air box cover and an electrical system outputting light from the air box cover lid. The system may include a transparent intake/inlet valve cover lid, a transparent exhaust/outlet valve cover lid, and a transparent cylinder head cover lid.
Abstract: Determining a language for speech recognition of a spoken utterance received via an automated assistant interface for interacting with an automated assistant. Implementations can enable multilingual interaction with the automated assistant, without necessitating a user explicitly designate a language to be utilized for each interaction. Implementations determine a user profile that corresponds to audio data that captures a spoken utterance, and utilize language(s), and optionally corresponding probabilities, assigned to the user profile in determining a language for speech recognition of the spoken utterance. Some implementations select only a subset of languages, assigned to the user profile, to utilize in speech recognition of a given spoken utterance of the user.

Abstract: A scalable, distributed load control system for home automation based on a network of microphones may include control devices (e.g., load control devices) that may include microphones for monitoring the system and communicating audio data to a cloud server for processing. The control devices of the load control system may receive a single voice command and may be configured to choose one of the load control devices to transmit the voice command to the cloud server. The load control devices may be configured to receive a voice command, control a connected load according to the voice command if the voice command is a validated command, and transmit the voice command to a voice service in the cloud if the voice command is not a validated command. The voice service to which the load control devices transmit audio data to may be selectable.

Abstract: A foldable, portable co-sleeper bassinet or apparatus is described. The bassinet, in some embodiments, is transformable into two different configurations, by collapsing or extending the walls of the apparatus. For example, the co-sleeper apparatus may include collapsible wall panels that, when collapsed, enable an easy, lying-down open position, but which can extend back up to a walled position to secure a baby in the bassinet.
Abstract: Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar systems are equipped with channel extenders to further increase the number of receive and/or transmit antennas that can be supported by a given radar transceiver. One illustrative radar system includes: a radar transceiver to generate a transmit signal and to downconvert at least one receive signal; and a receive-side extender that couples to a set of multiple receive antennas to obtain a set of multiple input signals, that adjustably phase-shifts each of the multiple input signals to produce a set of phase-shifted signals, and that couples to the radar transceiver to provide the at least one receive signal, the at least one receive signal being a sum of the phase-shifted signals. An illustrative receive-side extender includes: multiple phase shifters each providing an adjustable phase shift to a respective input signal; a power combiner that forms a receive signal by combining outputs of the multiple phase shifters.
Abstract: A method may include transmitting, by a base station to a wireless device via a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), a downlink control information (DCI) indicating for the wireless device to switch from a second bandwidth part (BWP) to a first BWP as an active BWP. The method may include receiving, in response to the first BWP being activated, a reference signal received power (RSRP) report for the first BWP. The RSRP report may include a reference signal index indicating a reference signal of the first BWP, and a value of an RSRP of the reference signal.

Abstract: Systems and methods associated with providing user interfaces and back-end processing features for transferring recurring charges from a first account to a second account are disclosed. Abstract: A battery electric device includes a battery cell, e.g., a pouch, prismatic, or cylindrical cell, connectable to an electric load, and a direct-to-air thermoelectric assembly (TEA) or another heat pump connected to a surface of the cell. A pressure control device maintains constant pressure on the cell surface when the cell is connected to the load. Connection to the load causes the TEA/heat pump to pump heat from the cell. A sensor, e.g., thermocouple(s) and/or heat flux sensor(s), generate an output voltage signal indicative of the quantity of heat. A battery system includes the device and a processor in communication with the cell, the load, and the power supply. The processor generates an electronic control signal in response to the quantity of heat.

Abstract: Provided is a dual motion recline mechanism for a seating assembling and seating assembly including the same. The seating assembly provides a user with the ability to both tilt the seat member so as to save space and the comfort of a back member capable of reclining. Abstract: A user device receives a first media item that is associated with a second media item. The device determines that a playback state for the device indicates that the device is paired with an alternative playback device. The device sends the playback state in a request for the second media item, receives the second media item in a first format for playback on the user device and in a second format for playback on the alternative playback device. The device determines whether the playback state of the device is the same. The device displays a first graphical representation of the second media item in the first format on the user device if the user device is no longer paired with the alternative playback device and displays a second graphical representation of the second media item in the second format on the user device if the user device is still paired with the alternative playback device.

The floatable breathing device provides includes a head unit, a snorkel, a plurality of receiving passageways, and an internal pathway. The head unit has buoyant properties and includes an ornamental shaped outer housing and an inner housing positioned within the outer housing, the inner housing forms a head receiving section, the head receiving section is provided between outer surfaces of the outer housing and is configured to be contoured to a human head. The snorkel connects to and extends from the head unit. The plurality of receiving passageways are disposed about the outer housing and receiving the snorkel, the snorkel extending through and exiting a portion of the head unit above a predetermined waterline extending along a periphery of a lower portion of the head unit thereof and identifies buoyancy of the head unit in water.

The tine guide is rotatable with at least one of the tines such that the at least one tine is disposed in the at least one guide slot in a position in the rotation path in which the at least one tine is outside any of the tine slots of the pickup band assembly.

Abstract: A method is provided for making gratings of gold or other metal in silicon substrates. The disclosed method may achieve high aspect ratios. According to the disclosed method, a silicon wafer is through-etched. A seed layer of metal is vapor-deposited on one side of the wafer, and a layer of metal is electrodeposited on the seed layer. The electrodeposited metal plugs the trenches and provides a conductive surface for subsequent electrodeposition. The trenches are then filled by electrodeposition from within the trenches, so that the walls of the metal grating grow on the metal plugs.

Abstract: A CO2 sequestration system sequesters carbon dioxide as carbon dioxide hydrate in offshore saline aquifers. The system includes an offshore aquifer in a tropical region. A plurality of wellbores are positioned inside or around a perimeter of the aquifer. The CO2 may be injected into the aquifer via separate injectors located in the wellbores connected to the aquifer while aquifer water or brine is produced from one or more of the other wellbores and provided to the aquifer. Injection of the CO2 into and production of water from the offshore aquifer at separately timed intervals may maintain the reservoir pressure below the reservoir fracture pressure and the hydrate formation pressure so that the CO2 may be stored as carbon dioxide hydrate within the aquifer. Depending on the specific output desired, the aquifer may be positioned either straddling or within a hydrate stability zone. A method for sequestering CO2 uses the aforementioned system to carry out CO2 sequestration.

Abstract: A system includes a first facility element having a sensor and configured to generate recent performance data associated with a system of a facility, and a monitoring and control element in communication with the first facility element, where the monitoring and control element is configured to identify one or more analogous facility elements analogous to the first facility element, receive the recent performance data for the first facility element, generate projected performance data for the facility element according to historical performance data associated with the facility element and the one or more analogous facility elements, compare the projected performance data to a performance threshold, and override a setting or operating parameter of the first facility element according to a relationship of the projected performance data to the performance threshold and by sending one or more operational adjustment commands to at least one second facility element.
