  • Patent number: 11796467
Abstract: Source light having a range of optical wavelengths is generated. The source light is split into sample light and reference light. The sample light is delivered into a sample, such that it is scattered by the sample, resulting in signal light that exits the sample. The signal light and reference light are combined into an interference light pattern having optical modes. Different subsets of the optical modes of the interference light pattern are respectively detected, and high-bandwidth analog signals respectively corresponding to the different subsets of optical modes of the interference light pattern are output. At least one characteristic is extracted from each of the plurality of high-bandwidth analog signals, and low-bandwidth digital signals respectively comprising the extracted characteristics are output. The sample is analyzed based on the low-bandwidth digital signals.

  • Patent number: 11797422
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system and method for bug fix recovery in an electronic device connected to a network. If a bug affecting a deployed electronic device is discovered, bug fix instructions for fixing, mitigating, or recovering from the bug, including rules and executable actions, can be stored in a cloud based server in communication with a deployed electronic device. Each set of instructions is associated with one or more identifiers of devices, firmware versions, and/or software versions that are affected by the bug. The server can be configured to query deployed electronic devices, and/or the deployed electronic devices can be configured to query the server to determine if a bug fix that is relevant to the electronic device has been stored on the server. Instructions can then be transmitted to the electronic device for execution or for display or announcement to a user (if user action is required).

  • Patent number: 11799785
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for processing data packets by a hardware-based networking device configured to disaggregate processing of data packets from hosts of a virtualized computing environment. The hardware-based networking device includes a hardware-based component implementing a plurality of behavioral models indicative of packet processing graphs for data flows in the virtualized computing environment. A data packet having a source from or destination to an endpoint in a virtual network of the virtualized computing environment is received. Based on determining that the data packet is a first packet of a data flow to or from the endpoint, one of the behavioral models is mapped to the data flow. The packet is modified in accordance with the mapped behavioral model. A state of the data flow is stored. Subsequent data packets of the data flow are processed based on the stored state.

  • Patent number: 11795905
Abstract: In certain embodiments, an ocean wave energy extraction system including a wave energy panel may capture kinetic energy from an ocean wave as a force applied to a flexible membrane that drives the WEP back and forth in a reciprocating motion. The WEP dimensions may be selected so that the energy extracted from the wave is maximized and the added mass is minimized. A flexible membrane may be supported on two opposite edges by structural members that may pivot about a base. The shape of the flexible membrane may reciprocate in response to alternating horizontal wave orbital velocities. The force applied to the flexible membrane may be transmitted through the structural members to a power extraction device, such as a hydraulic pump or an electrical generator, that may be mounted to the base. Multiple WEPs may be arranged parallel to the wave crest to produce additional power.

  • Patent number: 11799358
Abstract: A power generation device includes a body, an electric generator, a hub, and an arm. The body extends from a first end to a second end and a longitudinal axis extends from the first end to the second end. The electric generator is housed within the body and includes a rotor. The hub is coupled to the body at the first end and is rotatable with respect to the body about the longitudinal axis. The arm extends from the hub such that the arm is rotatable with the huh about the longitudinal axis. The arm is pivotably coupled to the hub such that arm is pivotable with respect to the hub about a pivot axis that is non-collinear with the longitudinal axis. Rotation of the hub and the arm about the longitudinal axis causes rotation of the rotor of the generator to generate electrical power.
