  • Patent number: 11798203
Abstract: Methods are provided for generating a prescription map for the application of crop inputs. In one method, the user draws a boundary on a map within a user interface and the system identifies relevant soil data and generates a soil map overlay and legend for changing the application prescription for various soils and soil conditions. In another method, the user instead drives a field boundary which is recorded on a planter monitor using a global positioning receiver, and the system generates a soil map and legend for changing the application prescription.

  • Patent number: 11798244
Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods of context-based management of tokens are described. In an example, a geographical location of a device is used as one possible context. This location can correspond to a physical location associated with an AR virtual object container. This container can be associated with a set of virtual object container information applicable to the context, such as to the device's location. Based on separately maintained virtual object information, virtual objects to be shown as being available from the container are determined. Each of such virtual objects can be associated with a set of tokens. In an AR session, the container and the virtual objects are presented. An interaction with the container or a virtual object can result in associating a relevant set of tokens with a user account by recording information about the container, the virtual object, the user account, and/or the context(s).

  • Patent number: 11800076
Abstract: Methods, systems, devices, and tangible non-transitory computer readable media for haze reduction are provided. The disclosed technology can include generating feature vectors based on an input image including points. The feature vectors can correspond to feature windows associated with features of different portions of the points. Based on the feature vectors and a machine-learned model, a haze thickness map can be generated. The haze thickness map can be associated with an estimate of haze thickness at each of the points. Further, the machine-learned model can estimate haze thickness associated with the features. A refined haze thickness map can be generated based on the haze thickness map and a guided filter. A dehazed image can be generated based on application of the refined haze thickness map to the input image. Furthermore, a color corrected dehazed image can be generated based on performance of color correction operations on the dehazed image.

  • Patent number: 11797328
Abstract: A virtualization partition (VP) is executed by a virtualization layer. The VP contains guest software that executes in isolation within the VP. The guest software has a background task (BT) that needs to be performed in the future. The BT is virtualized by a BT service that executes outside of the VP. The guest software registers the BT, through the virtualization layer, with a BT virtualization service. An event occurs outside of the VP that triggers the BT. The BT virtualization service responds to the event by assuring that the VP is available (executing), and optionally triggers (possibly indirectly) the execution of code in the application.

  • Patent number: 11799149
Abstract: An energy storage assembly includes a plurality of battery cells electrically connected to each other to form a battery pack in which the battery cells are grouped together to form a first stack of cells and a second stack of cells. The energy storage assembly also includes a first barrier disposed between the first stack of cells and the second stack of cells to reduce heat transfer between the first stack of cells and the second stack of cells. The energy storage assembly further includes a coolant plate disposed along the battery cells. The coolant plate defines a channel for guiding a fluid therethrough to thermally transfer heat away from the battery cells. The coolant plate defines a slot spaced from the channel, and the slot axially aligns with the first barrier to reduce heat transfer between the first stack of cells and the second stack of cells.

  • Patent number: 11795341
Abstract: The present invention is a coating containing approximately 10% glass beads used to protect wood products. Applicant has discovered that the best performance occurs when the concentration of glass beads in the coating ranges from 5 wt % to 10 wt %. A shelf-stable paste is first prepared by combining a solution of modified styrene maleic acid copolymer and a synthetic layered silicate. That paste is then mixed with a binder to form the coating. Preferably, the concentration of glass beads in the paste ranges from 60 wt % to 80 wt %, the concentration of solution of modified styrene maleic acid copolymer ranges from 20 wt % to 25 wt % and the concentration of synthetic layered silicate ranges from 1 wt % to 3 wt %.

  • Patent number: 11798316
Abstract: An electronic device includes a memory storing a plurality of fingerprint reference data files and one or more sensors identifying whether a mechanical support condition of the electronic device is a hand supported condition or a surface supported condition. A fingerprint sensor receives fingerprint data while the electronic device is in the mechanical support condition. One or more processors select a prioritized fingerprint data reference file from the plurality of fingerprint reference data files as a function of the mechanical support condition and authenticate an authorized user of the electronic device by comparing the fingerprint data to the prioritized fingerprint data reference file before comparing the fingerprint data to any other fingerprint reference data files of the plurality of fingerprint reference data files. The prioritized fingerprint reference data file can also be selected as a function of a geometric form factor of the electronic device.

  • Patent number: 11795285
Abstract: Embodiments in accordance with the present invention encompass compositions encompassing a latent organo-ruthenium compound, a photosensitizer, one or more monomers which undergo ring open metathesis polymerization (ROMP) and at least two distinct types of UV blockers, where when said composition is exposed to suitable actinic radiation forms a substantially transparent film or a three dimensional object. Surprisingly, the compositions are very stable at ambient conditions to temperatures up to 80° C. for several weeks and undergo mass polymerization only when subjected to actinic radiation under inert atmosphere such as for example a blanket of nitrogen. Accordingly, compositions of this invention are useful in various opto-electronic applications, including as 3D printing materials, coatings, encapsulants, fillers, leveling agents, among others.
