The method includes, for the lane path: identifying a series of vertices covered by the lane segment, applying a second model for assigning additional costs to lane-path-departing edges of the series of vertices thereby determining locally-increased costs, determining a locally-adjusted scores for vertices in the series of vertices based on the locally-increased costs, and identifying a lane path score for the lane path based on the locally-adjusted scores.

In other examples, such information is used to generate one or more predicted issues and associated actions to troubleshoot the device.

In order to integrate the attribute-based encryption scheme with the mesh network of resource-constrained devices, a serializer and deserializer are provided that prepare all communications to go through the attribute-based encryption scheme by converting all data and metadata into a suitable format for transmission over the network.

In some examples, the wavelength of the laser beam is in the far red and near IR range and the light is absorbed by the crosslinked acrylic polymer via two-photon absorption at high laser pulse energy. The method also includes designing laser beam scan patterns that compensate for effects of multiphone absorption such as a shift in the depth of the laser pulse absorption location, and compensate for effects caused by high laser pulse energy such as thermal lensing. The method can be used to form a Fresnel lens in the optical zone.

    Abstract: A shock absorbing system for use when landing an unmanned aerial vehicle uses a rocker arm pivotally attached to each landing leg of the vehicle. A strut bracket is attached to each landing leg below the rocker arm. A damper leg is pivotally attached to the rocker arm on one side of the landing leg attachment and the upper end of a damper-loaded strut is pivotally attached to the rocker arm on an opposing side of the landing leg attachment. The base of the strut is fixedly attached to the strut bracket. As the vehicle, it places a downward force on each landing leg which cause the bracket to slide downward along the damper leg, causing the damper leg to pivot its end of the rocker arm upwardly and thus the strut end downwardly causing the strut to compress against the bias of the damper and thereby dampen the landing. Damper leg pairs can be joined by a skid.
