Abstract: An electrode assembly that includes an electroactive material layer and a protective layer disposed on or adjacent to the electroactive material layer is provided. The protective layer includes a carbonaceous matrix formed from a fluoropolymer, where lithium fluoride and a nitrate salt are distributed within the carbonaceous matrix. The protective layer further includes residual fluoropolymer and has a first surface adjacent to the electroactive material layer and a second surface opposite to the first surface. A first compositional gradient in the protective layer is defined from the first surface having a first amount of lithium fluoride that is greater than a second amount of lithium fluoride at the second surface, and a second compositional gradient in the protective layer is defined from the first surface having a first amount of residual fluoropolymer that is less than a second amount of residual fluoropolymer at the second surface.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for selecting an intra interpolation filter for multi-line intra prediction based on a reference line index for decoding a video sequence includes identifying a set of reference lines associated with a coding unit. A first type of interpolation filter is applied to reference samples included in a first reference line, of the set of reference lines, that is adjacent to the coding unit to generate a first set of prediction samples based on the first reference line being associated with a first reference line index. A second type of interpolation filter is applied to reference samples included in a second reference line, of the set of reference lines, that is non-adjacent to the coding unit to generate a second set of prediction samples based on the second reference line being associated with a second reference line index.

A light scattering structure is positioned a distance from the photodetector array to compensate for parallax effects for the received energy from the near objects and the far objects. The light scattering structure is configured to scatter light onto pixels of the photodetector array.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing cloud-based access to consumer financial information. A cloud-based platform may receive a notification from a server, the notification comprising a request to access consumer data associated with a financial services account. After confirming authorization by both the associated financial services account provider and the consumer, the platform may configure a software object identifying the server and at least a portion of the consumer data that the server is authorized to access. After presentation of the configured software object by the third party server, the platform may verify the configured software object, and provide to the server access to the authorized consumer data. The server may then utilize the provided consumer data to perform a mobile service for the consumer.

Abstract: A wireless device may transmit a message indicating that a first reference signal (RS) is a candidate beam for a beam failure recovery procedure. Based on a downlink transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state and an uplink TCI state being associated with the same second RS, the wireless device may replace the second RS with the first RS for the uplink TCI state. The wireless device may transmit uplink signals based on the first RS of the uplink TCI state.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide methods, techniques, and apparatuses for controlling HVAC ventilation using a bypass mechanism called the Economizer Bypass Controller (“EBC”). The EBC is designed to be installed into any HVAC system, regardless of the economizer capabilities. The EBC provides “bypass functionality” as needed between an economizer and a damper mechanism to control outside air ventilation regardless of what the actual economizer is set up to do. Thus, the EBC can be used to meet ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) safety standards as they evolve, OSHA, and CDC guidelines as well as temporary or permanent health emergency bypass strategies such as to address increased or decreased ventilation needs due to, for example, pandemic emergencies or smokey conditions from wildfires.

A first magnet clip with a lock hole are disposed on a buckle base assembly, a lock tongue optionally with a second magnet are disposed on a locking assembly, two moving portions are flush with the buckle base assembly respectively, and two unlocking portions are disposed within the buckle base assembly. When the lock hole is closed through a lock tongue, the first magnet attracts a second clip to guide the lock tongue into the lock hole to achieve locking.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods to expedite and facilitate data communications are disclosed. In some examples, a plurality of mobile devices are in communication with a server. Each of the plurality of mobile devices may execute an application that allows for the submission of information related to damaged property. For example, the executed application may allow for the selection of a type of damage, such as roof, window, or flooding damage, and based on the selection, may allow for the submission of additional information, such as attributes of the type of damaged property, and an estimated cost to repair or replace the damaged property. The plurality of mobile devices may then transmit the information to the server. The server may determine a claim amount based on the received information, and may generate and transmit a claim request for the claim amount.

The first or second state values that correspond to the determined TOA matches between the first ordered list and the second ordered list are determined. A shared secret random number is determined using the first or second state values that correspond to the determined TOA matches.

The method further includes predicting a current vertex included in the compressed 2D mesh based on an interpolation-based hierarchical prediction scheme that uses at least one sampled vertex included in the compressed 2D mesh. The method further includes deriving a prediction residual associated with the predicted current vertex. The method further includes reconstructing a boundary vertex associated with the 3D volumetric object based on the predicted current vertex and the derived prediction residual.
