  • Patent number: 11790899
Abstract: Determining a dialog state of an electronic dialog that includes an automated assistant and at least one user, and performing action(s) based on the determined dialog state. The dialog state can be represented as one or more slots and, for each of the slots, one or more candidate values for the slot and a corresponding score (e.g., a probability) for each of the candidate values. Candidate values for a slot can be determined based on language processing of user utterance(s) and/or system utterance(s) during the dialog. In generating scores for candidate value(s) of a given slot at a given turn of an electronic dialog, various features are determined based on processing of the user utterance and the system utterance using a memory network. The various generated features can be processed using a scoring model to generate scores for candidate value(s) of the given slot at the given turn.

  • Patent number: 11792757
Abstract: A radio node may calculate one or more performance metrics based on measured satellite signals, which are associated with a global positioning system, or wireless signals that are associated with a cellular-telephone network. Then, the radio node may determine, based on the one or more performance metrics, whether the radio node is a synchronization master in a cluster of radio nodes. When the radio node is the synchronization master, the radio node may provide information intended for a computer specifying that the radio node is the synchronization master and the one or more performance metrics. In response, the radio node may receive a synchronization request associated with another radio node in the cluster. Furthermore, the radio node may provide the synchronization information intended for the other radio node, where the synchronization information specifies time, frequency, and phase synchronization for at least the cluster.

  • Patent number: 11792839
Abstract: Systems and methods for operating a communication device. The methods comprise: receiving a signal at the communication device; performing, by the communication device, one or more machine learning algorithms using at least one feature of the signal as an input to generate a plurality of scores (each score representing a likelihood that the signal was modulated using a given modulation type of a plurality of different modulation types); assigning a modulation class to the signal based on the plurality of scores; determining whether a given wireless channel is available based at least on the modulation class assigned to the signal; and selectively using the given wireless channel for communicating signals based on results of the determining.

  • Patent number: 11787081
Abstract: Apparatus for producing wooden members for wooden trusses includes a control computer receiving a batch list, a series of infeed chutes for automatically transferring wooden members of different types to a conveyor, a scanner to detect defects, a defect saw for trimming such defects, a finger-jointer for joining wooden members end-to-end, a flying saw for cutting wood discharged from the finger-jointer, a cutting saw for cutting wooden members processed by the first flying saw into web member blanks, and a component saw for cutting angles on the ends of the web member blanks. The control computer analyzes the batch list for causing a first infeed chute to feed in wooden members of a first type sufficient to produce all web members formed from wood of the first type, and then causes a second infeed chute to feed in wooden members of a second type. A related method is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11787254
Abstract: A shock absorber for a vehicle suspension system may include a damper tube defining an axis, a rod operably coupled to the damper tube to be movable along the axis relative to the damper tube in response to jounce and rebound events, a dust boot operably coupled to the rod and extending along peripheral sides of the rod and at least a proximal end of the damper tube relative to the rod, the dust boot being movable with the rod, a target disposed on a damper bump cap operably coupled to the proximal end of the damper tube, and a measurement assembly affixed to the dust boot. The measurement assembly may include a PCB elongated parallel to the axis to track relative movement between the target and the measurement assembly responsive to the jounce and rebound events to generate ride height information based on the relative movement.

  • Patent number: 11787559
Abstract: Systems and methods for lag optimization of pilot intervention is provided. A critical event may be identified while an electric aircraft is in an autopilot mode and operating primarily under autonomous functions; as a result, a flight controller of the system may switch from an autopilot mode to a manual mode, allowing pilot intervention. System made determine a lag duration as a function of the critical event and a phase of operation of the electric aircraft to determine a lag duration before pilot intervention occurs.

  • Patent number: 11788845
Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods that improve the success rate of relocalization and eliminate the ambiguity of false relocalization by exploiting motions of the sensor system. In one or more embodiments, during a relocalization process, a snapshot is taken using one or more visual sensors and a single-shot relocalization in a visual map is implemented to establish candidate hypotheses. In one or more embodiments, the sensors move in the environment, with a movement trajectory tracked, to capture visual representations of the environment in one or more new poses. As the visual sensors move, the relocalization system tracks various estimated localization hypotheses and removes false ones until one winning hypothesis. Once the process is finished, the relocalization system outputs a localization result with respect to the visual map.

  • Patent number: 11785989
Abstract: A vaporizer assembly for an e-vaping device includes a heater coil structure, a set of electrical lead structures coupled to opposite ends of the heater coil structure, and a non-conductive connector structure connected to each of the electrical lead structures, such that the electrical lead structures are coupled together independently of the heater coil structure. The vaporizer assembly may contact a dispensing interface structure through the heater coil structure. The vaporizer assembly may heat pre-vapor formulation drawn from a reservoir by the dispensing interface. The heater coil structure may define a surface, and the vaporizer assembly may apply a mechanical force to the dispensing interface structure, such that the heater coil structure is in compression with the dispensing interface structure and the heater coil structure surface is substantially flush with a surface of the dispensing interface structure. The heater coil structure may define a three-dimensional surface.
