Abstract: A method for generating a ground truth mask for a microscope slide having a tissue specimen placed thereon includes a step of staining the tissue specimen with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) staining agents. A first magnified image of the H&E stained tissue specimen is obtained, e.g., with a whole slide scanner. The H&E staining agents are then washed from the tissue specimen. A second, different stain is applied to the tissue specimen, e.g., a special stain such as an IHC stain. A second magnified image of the tissue specimen stained with the second, different stain is obtained. The first and second magnified images are then registered to each other. An annotation (e.g., drawing operation) is then performed on either the first or the second magnified images so as to form a ground truth mask, the ground truth mask in the form of closed polygon region enclosing tumor cells present in either the first or second magnified image.

Abstract: A remote control device for controlling lighting devices may be configured to detect an excessive user interaction (e.g., a continued user interaction) and reduce a number of command messages that are being transmitted to prevent the lighting devices from producing undesirable visual effects. The remote control device may comprise a user interface (e.g., that may include a rotation portion, such as a rotary knob) and a processor configured to receive an indication of a user interaction via the user interface. The processor may periodically transmit command messages at a transmission frequency in response to a continued user interaction, where each of the command messages comprise a respective command for adjusting to a respective lighting level. The processor may also start a usage timer in response to receiving the indication of the user interaction, and decrease the transmission frequency in response to the usage timer exceeding a usage threshold.

Abstract: A better compromise between encoding complexity and achievable rate distortion ratio, and/or to achieve a better rate distortion ratio is achieved by using multitree sub-divisioning not only in order to subdivide a continuous area, namely the sample array, into leaf regions, but using the intermediate regions also to share coding parameters among the corresponding collocated leaf blocks. By this measure, coding procedures performed in tiles—leaf regions—locally, may be associated with coding parameters individually without having to, however, explicitly transmit the whole coding parameters for each leaf region separately. Rather, similarities may effectively exploited by using the multitree subdivision.

Abstract: An MDM management system to manage files outside the scope of MDM for macOS, the management system. The system has an MDM platform for managing a plurality of mobile devices each with a macOS operating system, the MDM manager allowing for creation of configuration profiles for an array of files outside of the scope of MDM for macOS and the configuration profiles having defined content settings. The MDM manager manages a plurality of managed mobile devices having a file manager agent to receive the array of configuration profiles from the MDM manager, the mobile devices each having a module to detect a change in the file outside the scope of MDM for macOS and when the change occurs to check a content change against the defined content settings, and if the change deviates from one of the defined content settings, returning the file to the defined content settings of the configuration profile.
Abstract: A solid-state light emitter power supply includes a first rectifier circuit, a second rectifier circuit, a power factor correction (PFC) stage, a first flyback converter, a second flyback converter, and a microcontroller. The rectifier circuits are configured to receive phase-cut signals from respective dimmer circuits as inputs and output respective phase-cut rectified power signals. The PFC stage is configured to receive a sum of the phase-cut rectified power signals as input and output a power-factor corrected electrical power to the flyback converters. The flyback converters are connected in parallel and are configured to power respective loads including a respective solid-state light emitter. The microcontroller is configured to receive signals derived from the phase-cut signals as inputs and to output respective pulse-width modulation (PWM) control signals to each of the flyback converters.

Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or “drone” executes a neural network to assist with inspection, surveillance, reporting, and other missions. The drone inspection neural network may monitor, in real time, the data stream from a plurality of onboard sensors during navigation to an asset along a preprogrammed flight path and/or during its mission (e.g., as it scans and inspects an asset).
Abstract: A method including determining a zip code of a user using a website that displays items for sale. Determining the zip code of the user can include determining the zip code of the user through at least one of using tracking cookies for the user using the website or geo-sniffing a current session of the user using the website. The method also can include receiving a selection by the user to display information about an item of the items for sale. The method additionally can include determining a shipping speed to display to the user for the item based on (a) a geo-classification for the item, (b) a list of fulfillment nodes that can currently deliver to the zip code of the user within a first shipping speed, and (c) a node-level inventory for the item. The method further can include facilitating a display of the shipping speed to the user. The geo-classification for the item is a first classification at least when a sale margin for the item exceeds a first predetermined margin threshold.

The second shell includes a first end, a second end, and a wall extending between the first end and the second end. The second shell also defines a cavity and a longitudinal axis extending between the first end and the second end. A cross section of the second shell transverse to the longitudinal axis includes a first arcuate inner wall portion having a first radius of curvature and a second arcuate inner wall portion having a second radius of curvature. The first radius of curvature is larger than the second radius of curvature.
Abstract: One or more aspects of the present disclosure relate to a storage health status. In embodiments, one or more events corresponding to a storage array can be received. Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to a system and method for proactively generating an intervening message for a remote client device in response to an anticipated user action. A computing system receives one or more streams of user activity. The one or more streams of user activity include interaction with a server of an organization via an application executing on the remote client device. The computing system inputs the one or more streams of user activity into a prediction model. The computing system identifies an anticipated user action based on a prediction output from the prediction model. The computing system determines, based on a solution model, a proposed solution to the anticipated user action. The computing system generates an anticipated message to be transmitted to the remote client device of the user. The computing system transmits the anticipated message to the remote client device of the user.
