Abstract: The present disclosure discloses an engineering machinery equipment, and a method, system, and storage medium for safety control thereof, and relates to the field of artificial intelligence, automatic control, and engineering machinery technologies. A method can include: acquiring spatial sensing data of a work area; performing obstacle detection based on the spatial sensing data to determine a position of an obstacle within the work area; determining a safe working range of a mechanical structural component of the engineering machinery equipment based on the position of the obstacle within the work area; and controlling a working range of the mechanical structural component of the engineering machinery equipment based on the safe working range.

Abstract: Features are disclosed for dynamically generating a proxy representation of characteristics associated with a private data set. A computing device can receive a private data set including private or proprietary information. The compute device can determine one or more characteristics that are associated with the private data set. The computing device can further receive a public data library that includes characteristics that are publicly available. The computing device may generate a proxy representation based on the public data library and the proxy representation may include one or more characteristics that represent the private data set. The proxy representation may be provided to one or more entities who are unauthorized to access the private data set. In some embodiments, the private data set may correspond to an exchange traded fund and the characteristics may correspond to risk factors associated with the exchange traded fund.

Abstract: Methods, systems and apparatus for assessing the likely status of an operator of a computing device interacting with a server as a human operator or an autonomic computer application, such as a “bot” are described herein. By monitoring at least some data, e.g., biometric data, generated at the client computing device, a comparison can be made between the monitored data and model data relating to human interaction with the computing device. The results of the comparison can lead to a value that represents the likelihood that the monitored data results from human interaction.

Abstract: A biometric capture device is operative to adjust one or more environmental parameters to enhance a range (e.g., distance) at which a biometric may be captured from a subject. For example, a sample biometric capture device may be, include, or otherwise incorporate a retinal or iris scanner configured to capture an image of the retina or iris (e.g., a biometric) when the retina or iris is illuminated by infrared light. Generally, the amount of infrared light required to accurately image the retina or iris increases with the distance of the subject's retina or iris from the image capture device. The biometric capture device may capture a facial image using a first image sensor, identify a face in the facial image, capture an iris image using a second image sensor guided by the facial image, and identify a person using the iris image.

Abstract: A swing motion trainer used to simulate one or more sport swing movements includes a rod portion comprising a shaft with a grip. The swing motion trainer includes a resistance portion comprising an interchangeable mechanism at a distal end of the rod portion, the resistance portion includes an interchangeable mechanism at the distal end of the rod portion, wherein the interchangeable mechanism is configured to attach a removable resistance element to the distal end of the rod portion. The removable resistance element that is attachable to the distal end of the rod portion via the interchangeable mechanism. The removable resistance element provides a resistance to a swinging motion of the swing motion trainer.

In some embodiments, a method for detecting malicious activity from user devices is provided, the method comprising: receiving information indicating a requested connection to a destination by a first user device; adding the received information to information received from a plurality of user devices to generate aggregated connection information; determining that the requested connection to the destination by the first user device is part of an attack, wherein determining that the requested connection to the destination by the first user device is part of the attack on the destination comprises determining that more than a predetermined percentage of user devices have requested connections to the destination; receiving information indicating a requested connection to the destination by a second user device; and causing the connection to the destination by the second user device to be blocked.

Abstract: The present subject matter relates to systems, devices, and methods for mounting one or more lightweight architectural masonry units to a building support structure. An elongated track includes a web and opposed edge portions that form a pair of slide channels, the elongated track being configured to be mounted to the building support structure. A connecting member includes a base portion configured to retain the connecting member to the channels but is movable within the channels along the track, and a flange portion is configured to connect to a first lightweight architectural masonry unit of the one or more lightweight architectural masonry units. A fixation member includes a first end configured to connect to the elongated track and a second end configured to connect to the lightweight architectural masonry unit, the fixation member being configured to retain the first lightweight architectural masonry unit in place relative to the elongated track.

Abstract: A waveguide assembly is provided. The waveguide assembly includes a pair of pupil-replicating waveguides. The first pupil-replicating waveguide is configured for receiving an input beam of image light and providing an intermediate beam comprising multiple offset portions of the input beam. The second pupil-replicating waveguide is configured for receiving the intermediate beam from the first pupil-replicating waveguide and providing an output beam comprising multiple offset portions of the intermediate beam. The input beam may be expanded by the waveguide assembly in such a manner that pupil gaps are reduced or eliminated.

Abstract: An antimicrobial, injection molded air duct for use in an air distribution system which delivers air to a passenger cabin of a vehicle or into an enclosed space within a residential structure is provided. The air duct includes a hollow, injection molded housing having an air passageway for communicating airflow therethrough. The housing includes a layer of molded material which at least partially defines the passageway and which absorbs airborne liquid droplets containing infectious, disease-causing pathogens moving with the airflow. The molded material includes antimicrobial agents disbursed throughout the layer to reduce the number of pathogens contained within droplets absorbed by the layer.

Abstract: Provided herein are muzzle brakes, firearms, and methods for manufacturing the same. A muzzle brake for attachment to a muzzle end of a firearm includes a body defining a first end that engages a muzzle end of the firearm, a second end opposite the first end, and an axis extending therebetween. The body further defines one or more openings intersecting the axis to form a channel extending between the first end and the second end along the axis. The body further defines a first port extending from the channel to an exterior surface of the body and a second port extending from the channel to the exterior surface of the body between the first port and the second end. In operation, the first port directs gas from the channel to an external environment of the muzzle brake that disrupts gas directed by the second port from the channel.

Consistent disclosed embodiments, a system for managing merchandising cards may include one or more memory devices storing instructions and one or more processors configured to acquire, from a device over a network, a plurality of locations associated with the device, the device locations being acquired at different instances in time within a predetermined period of time. Additionally, the one or more processors may be configured to calculate an overall merchant confidence rating for a merchant using the device locations. Further, the one or more processors may be configured to, based on the overall merchant confidence rating, determine that the merchant matches a merchant that is associated with merchandising card, and send a reminder a user of the device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for a mobile crane are provided. In particular, systems and methods are provided for a mobile crane that is designed to enable easy transportation on a railcar to and from a job site. The mobile crane facilitates quick changing between a transport configuration and a work configuration to enable increased productivity. The mobile crane is configured to be modular and thereby be configured to include various lifting and object manipulating features, as required by a specific application.
