Abstract: Methods and systems for monitoring contributor performance for source code programming projects in order to increase the velocity of workflow and the efficiency of project teams. In particular, the methods and systems record the particular type of issue that is tagged for a given contribution, if any, and monitor the amount of programming time of the contributor that is required to resolve the issue. The programming time required to resolve the issue, the type of issue, and/or other characteristics of contributors are then used to generate real-time recommendations related to the performance of the contributor relative to the project team.

Abstract: Provided in this disclosure are systems and methods for venting an electric vehicle. A vent may be selectively opened or closed to allow a fluid to traverse through a specific portion of the vent so that the fluid may be displaced away from or toward battery modules and/or cells of an electric aircraft. The movement of fluid through a vent allows for regulation of, for example, a temperature of a battery pack of an electric aircraft, or components thereof, of the electric aircraft.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to multi-user, multi-device gaze tracking. In examples, a system includes at least one processor, and memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, causes the system to perform a set of operations. The set of operations include identifying a plurality of computing devices, and identifying one or more users. The set of operations may further include receiving gaze input data and load data, from two or more of the plurality of computing devices. The set of operations may further include performing load balancing between the plurality of devices, wherein the load balancing comprises assigning one or more tasks from a first of the plurality of computing devices to a second of the plurality of computing devices based upon the gaze input data.

Abstract: A low profile adapter is removably engageable with a two-post vehicle lift system. The low profile adapter includes a support member. A base plate is rigidly connected to a bottom portion of the support member. The base plate extends longitudinally from a first side of the support member. At least one capture plate is rigidly connected to the support member and extends longitudinally from an opposing second side of the support member. The at least one capture plate is operable to pivotally engage with at least one swing arm platform of the vehicle lift system. The low profile adapter includes one of a height adjustment mechanism and a outrigger arm capture mechanism.

Abstract: An improved bolt and bolt carrier with integral gas key having an extension nozzle threadedly secured and pinned to the gas key for use with a direct gas operated firearm is provided. The extension nozzle is designed to receive a portion of the host firearms gas operating system. The firing pin retaining pin is oriented so as to expose its widest profile to the firing pins annular flange, increasing its service life. The bolt has a plurality of lugs extending from its forward end and an extractor recess. The extractor recess is constructed to accommodate an enlarged extractor claw while not undercutting the bolt lugs adjacent thereto. The extractor engages approximately 57% more of a seated ammunition cartridges rim as compared to some prior art AR15/M16 type extractors used with automatic firearms chambered in 6.8SPC. The result is an improved bolt and bolt carrier which provides for increased operational reliability.

A drives and senses drive and sense a transducer via a single line, generates a digital signal representative of a sensed analog feature to which the transducer is exposed, and transmits the digital signal to the computing device. The computing device receives digital signals from at least some of drive-sense circuits and process them in accordance with the automation process to produce an automated process command. The automated apparatus executes a portion of an automated process based on the automated process command.

Abstract: Systems and methods are presented that allow for predicting treatment response of a tumor to a checkpoint inhibitor. In one exemplary aspect, the treatment response is directly associated with a relatively high number of patient- and tumor-specific immunologically visible neoepitopes. Specific mutational patterns in the nucleic acid encoding the neoepitope may be further indicative of treatment response.

Abstract: In one aspect, a system for generating and monitoring an antimicrobial is provided, the system including: a microprocessor and/or a microcontroller; an external communications device; a computational system; an antimicrobial sensor and/or an environmental sensor; and an antimicrobial generator, wherein the external communications device, the computational system, the antimicrobial generator, and the antimicrobial sensor and/or the environmental sensor are operatively connected to the microprocessor and/or the microcontroller. The system may further include a separate sensor sub-system comprising: a sensor sub-system microprocessor and/or a sensor sub-system microcontroller; a sensor sub-system external communications device; a sensor sub-system antimicrobial sensor and/or a sensor sub-system environmental sensor; and a sensor sub-system computational system.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a subcutaneously implanted port device for establishing access to the vascular system of a patient requiring multiple blood treatments over an extended period of time. The systems, devices and methods disclosed herein may reduce miscannulation, promote intra-session hemostasis, and decrease the incidence of bacteremia and sepsis among other improvements and advantages. The devices include a port with a tapered seat for receiving an access tube, the first tapered seat having a proximal portion, a distal portion, and a conical section extending between the proximal portion and the distal portion; and an interface surface configured to engage a blood vessel or a vascular access catheter. The proximal portion of the tapered seat is configured to receive the access tube therethrough, and the tapered seat creates a mismatch fit with a diameter of the access tube when in use for an increase in flow during treatment.

Abstract: A system and method for analyzing the swing motion of sporting equipment, for example, a golf club, including at least one or more inertial acceleration sensors, one or more gyrometric sensors, a data acquiring unit, a core micro-controller, and a Bluetooth radio. The motion detecting unit detects at least one motion of the swing. Particularly, the sensors and data acquiring unit calculates swing information using the acquired detection data to match a user’s swing motion to optimized equipment. Particularly, the data acquiring unit acquires detection data from the sensor(s) and forwards such data to a computing device or server having stored information that matches the swing motion to an optimized swing device.

Abstract: Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion having a front portion, a rear portion, a toe portion, a heel portion, a bottom portion, a top portion, and a crown portion covering an opening in the top portion. The crown portion may include an inner composite layer, an outer composite layer, and a toe-side integral rib disposed between the inner composite layer and the outer composite layer. The toe-side integral rib may extend rearward from a toe-side integral rib starting location between a vertical plane of the golf club and a toe-side golf ball plane and terminate at a toe-side integral rib ending location between a toe-side bounding plane and the toe-side golf ball plane. Abstract: A computerized vehicle route optimization system is provided, including a processor configured to receive a graph of service location nodes and edges representing a travel cost metric between the service location nodes. The processor is further configured to, for each vehicle, determine a vehicle capacity, and instantiate a route data structure storing an ordered list of service location nodes, ordered by travel order. The processor is further configured to cluster the graph into node clusters such that a total of the service weighting values of all service location nodes in each node cluster is under the vehicle capacity. The processor is further configured to populate the ordered list of each route data structure with the service location nodes in a respective cluster, and optimize, via a hybrid reinforcement learning-annealing module, the ordered list of each route data structure to minimize a total travel cost metric of the plurality of vehicles.

Abstract: Improved methods and apparatus for additive manufacture of an article with surface qualities conducive to use as an optical element, such as a contact lens. The improvements are directed to repeated application of a monomer according to a pattern of energy transmissibility, such as grayscale image. The method includes intermittent pinning of deposited polymerizable mixture and final cure of the deposited polymerizable mixture. A pattern of multiple defined areas may be manufactured, with each area representing an amount of energy transmissibility associated with that area. Each area may have a light value based upon a scale, such as an 8 bit, 16 bit, 32 bit, 64 bit scale or other scale. In some embodiments, each area may refer to a smallest single component of a digital image.

The battery pack includes a plurality of battery packs. The PMU may include at least a sensor and a controller. At least a sensor is configured to detect battery datum. A controller is communicatively connected with at least a sensor. A controller is configured to receive battery datum, detect a significant event as a function of battery datum, and transmit the significant event to a remote device.

Abstract: A communication system has a control module with a control processing device, and a plurality of common modules. Each of the common modules has a common processing device. The control module and the plurality of common modules are connected with at least one adjacent common module to form a communication array. The control module and the common modules communicate via a first routing path having a first path of common modules of the plurality of common modules, and a second routing path having a second path of common modules of the plurality of common modules different than the first path of common modules. The control module and the plurality of common modules communicate via the second routing path when one of the first set of common modules fails.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a modular unit for a topologic qubit and of scalable quantum computing architectures using such modular units are disclosed herein. For example, one example embodiment is a modular unit for a topological qubit comprising 6 Majorana zero modes (MZMs) on a mesoscopic superconducting island. These units can provide the computational MZMs with protection from quasiparticle poisoning. Several possible realizations of these modular units are described herein. Also disclosed herein are example designs for scalable quantum computing architectures comprising the modular units together with gates and reference arms (e.g., quantum dots, Majorana wires, etc.) configured to enable joint parity measurements to be performed for various combinations of two or four MZMs associated with one or two modular units, as well as other operations on the states of MZMs.

Abstract: A reservoir assembly that holds a nicotine pre-vapor formulation in a reservoir includes a reservoir assembly connector assembly defining a connector conduit, and which may be configured to detachably couple with a nicotine vaporizer assembly based on a connector element of the nicotine vaporizer assembly engaging with the connector conduit of the connector conduit. The reservoir assembly may include an isolation structure configured to move in relation to both the reservoir and the nicotine vaporizer connector assembly between a first position where the isolation structure exposes the nicotine vaporizer assembly to the reservoir and at least partially obstructs the connector conduit to restrict the connector element from disengaging from the connector conduit, and a second position where the isolation structure isolates the nicotine vaporizer assembly from the reservoir and opens the connector conduit to enable the connector element to disengage from the connector conduit.

Abstract: The technology includes a roof pod system for a vehicle configured to operate in one or more partly or fully autonomous self-driving modes. The roof pod system is arranged to sit above the roof of the vehicle, for instance at least 10-50 mm above the roof surface. The roof pod may be supported by a set of legs such as cross-rails. The roof pod systems incorporates various sensors and related equipment to assist with self-driving operation Some sensors may be arranged in the main housing of the roof pod, while others can be located in a dome-type structure extending above the main housing. A cabling harness assembly runs wiring and other links between the roof pod and the vehicle chassis.
