Abstract: A computing device may determine a first set of applications that facilitate functions for a requested cloud account. A sequential execution order may be determined for a second set of applications to be executed after a respective set of dependencies for each application of the second set of applications and at least one application of the first set of applications have been executed. A parallel execution order may be determined for remaining applications of the first set of applications that are excluded from the sequential execution order. The first and second sets of applications may be executed according to the sequential and parallel execution orders and a notification may be sent to the user device that facilitates access to the cloud account based on an indication that the first and second sets of applications have been successfully executed.

Abstract: When two dual-SIM, dual-subscription (DSDS) wireless devices are located outside of their own (first) network operator's coverage area, but inside the coverage area of a second network operator having a roaming agreement with the first operator, the two devices are instructed to transmit data directly to one another via a side-link that is instigated and approved by the first operator, thereby reducing fees owed by the first operator to the second operator for the inter-device communications. In one implementation, the first operator secures a channel grant for the side-link from a CBRS SAS, and synchronization information for the side-link is provided to the two devices by the second operator.

Abstract: An electrical system includes a high-voltage battery pack assembly having a first cell set with a first group of energy storage cells and a second cell set having a second group of energy storage cells connectable to the first cell set. The first cell set includes at least one first battery chemistry cell and the second cell set includes at least one second battery chemistry cell. At least one switch is in electrical communication with the first or second cell set. Battery connection terminals are in electrical communication with at least one of the first or second cell sets. A controller is configured to determine an operating strategy of the high-voltage battery pack assembly and place at least one of the first cell set or the second cell set in electrical communication with the battery connection terminals in response to the operating strategy of the high-voltage battery pack.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for performing secure communications with rotating key communications. For example, the system may receive a first applet request to perform a first rotating key communication across one or more computer networks to access a first server host. The system may then determine a first processing characteristic for the first applet request and a first plurality of server locations of the first server host (e.g., across the one or more computer networks). The system may then determine a first plurality of connection paths to a first subset of the first plurality of server locations. The system may then filter the first plurality of connection paths to generate a first subset of the plurality of connection paths. Based on the first subset of the plurality of connection paths, the system may generate a first rotating key for performing the rotating key communication.

The seismic bracing yield fuse includes a fuse member configured to undergo ductile yielding in a length dimension upon application of a tensile or compressive force along the length dimension of the fuse member. The fuse member includes two ends and a central bar positioned between the two ends. The central bar includes a neck down portion including a substantially constant cross section.

The task is executed via the first node and the second node based on the first node sending a plurality of polls to the second node, the second node initiating execution of the task based on one of the plurality of polls, the second node sending a plurality of task status data to the first node, the first node maintaining current task status data for the task a shared metadata state based on the plurality of task status data, the second node completing execution of the task and caching task results in memory resources, the first node receiving the task results from the second node; and the second node removing the task results from the memory resources.

Abstract: A method for compensating an analyte measurement in the event of a low sample volume of a deposited fluid sample onto a test strip having first and second working electrodes and a reference electrode. At least one test voltage is applied between the first and second working electrodes and the reference electrode and current is measured at each of the working electrodes at a predetermined time point. The difference in measured current is compared to a stored threshold. If the difference in measured currents is within the stored threshold, the current measurements are used in determining an analyte of interest at a final test time. If the difference in measured currents is not within the stored threshold, then only the measured current of the first working electrode with a suitable correction applied is used in determining the analyte of interest at the final test time.

Abstract: A method of mesh processing includes receiving coded information of a mesh, the coded information includes position connectivity of a plurality of 3D vertices of a mesh in a 3D space, and a correspondence of the plurality of 3D vertices to UV vertices in a UV space for the mesh. The method further includes generating a reconstructed mesh in the 3D space by the plurality of 3D vertices according to the position connectivity, and determining seam vertices from the plurality of 3D vertices. The method also includes performing a prediction of seam edges in the 3D space based on at least the seam vertices, at least an edge between two seam vertices is predicted to be a seam edge. The method can also include cutting the reconstructed mesh into patch components according to the seam edges and determining UV connectivity of the UV vertices according to the patch components.

Abstract: Sensors and circuits for batteries are provided that prevent battery fires. The sensors and circuits are part of a battery management system that detects battery cell swelling and changes in the internal pressure of battery cells and removes the battery cells from service before they vent and catch on fire or explode. The sensors and circuits continually monitor every battery cell for swelling/increases in internal pressure that are indicative of the formation of flammable and explosive gases within the battery cells, and a battery management system that includes one or more of the sensors and circuits removes battery cells with issues from service before they vent and catch on fire or explode.

Abstract: A low voltage (LV) charging system for charging a high voltage (HV) rechargeable energy storage system (RESS), such as a HV RESS operable for electrically powering a traction motor of an electric vehicle. The LV charging system may include an input configured for receiving LV electrical power from a LV source and a distributed converter system configured for charging a plurality of modules of the HV RESS via a plurality of charging circuits. The charging circuits may be configured for separately charging one of the modules with a charging electrical power derived from converting the LV electrical power. The control station includes an input apparatus; a display; a control system structured to monitor and control operations of the can decorator; and an automatic label creator structured to receive a label specification, create a label, determine values for image registration based at least in part on the label specification and data associated with previously applied labels, and transmit at least the label and the values to the control station. The control system causes the plate cylinders and inking stations to be adjusted based on the label and the values of image registration. The plate cylinders and inking stations print the label on undecorated cans based on the label and the values.
