Abstract: A method of identifying a defensive alignment and an offensive alignment in a set-piece is disclosed herein. A computing system receives one or more streams of tracking data. The computing system identifies a set-piece contained in the one or more streams of tracking data. The computing system identifies a defensive alignment of a first team and an offensive alignment of a second team. The computing system extracts, via a convolutional neural network, one or more features corresponding to a type of defensive alignment implemented by the first team by passing the set-piece through the convolutional neural network. The computing system scans the set-piece, via a machine learning algorithm, to identify one or more features indicative of a type of offensive alignment implemented by the second team. The computing system infers the type of defensive alignment implemented by the first team.

Abstract: Circuits and methods that harvest electrostatic energy from transient on-chip data are described in the Application. In one aspect, a method inverter circuit harvests electrostatic charge held at its output node at an electric potential comparable to the power supply voltage rail to a common grid/node as the output makes a 0?1 logic transition. This charge harvested at a common gride/node can be used by circuits (described in applications 63/090,169, 63/139,744) to drive 0?1 logic transition at their output nodes at lower energy drain from the on-chip power grid than a conventional CMOS inverter would with similar performance, slew rates at inverter input and output and with similar output driving transistor geometries.

Abstract: A system and method for mitigating anomalies in a network device. One or a combination of mitigation actions may be pre-programmed into a plurality of customer premises equipment (CPE) devices. The mitigation actions may be available as temporary or permanent work arounds as problems are detected that match known or discovered patterns of log events. Unsupervised machine learning techniques may be used to identify and correlate new patterns of log events with device anomalies or malfunctions. When a new pattern of log events is discovered and correlated to an anomaly or malfunction in a group of CPE devices, the discovered pattern may be written to the group of CPE devices with instructions to use particular ones of the mitigation actions. The CPE devices can then, in examples, monitor their own logs to detect the patterns and implement one or more of the mitigation actions.

Abstract: Techniques for registering carbon sequestration include: receiving carbon sequestration data corresponding portions of a geographic region; comparing entries to a registry; assigning entries to clusters associated with carbon sequestration values; and determining a total carbon sequestration based on an aggregating of carbon sequestration values of the entries. In another aspect, a register-based carbon sequestration may utilize continuous learning, including generating estimates of carbon sequestration based on high-resolution aerial LiDAR, multispectral imagery, or the like. Unsupervised learning and a ground-based calibration procedure are usable to delineate distinct forest types within mixed forest area. Such a calibrated carbon sequestration system demonstrates superior accuracy compared to satellite-based analysis, and is able to estimate carbon sequestration on a grid, enabling generalization across multiple forest types and scales of aggregation within a unified framework.

Abstract: A system and method for generating a play prediction for a team is disclosed herein. A computing system retrieves trajectory data for a plurality of plays from a data store. The computing system generates a predictive model using a variational autoencoder and a neural network by generating one or more input data sets, learning, by the variational autoencoder, to generate a plurality of variants for each play of the plurality of plays, and learning, by the neural network, a team style corresponding to each play of the plurality of plays. The computing system receives trajectory data corresponding to a target play. The predictive model generates a likelihood of a target team executing the target play by determining a number of target variants that correspond to a target team identity of the target team.
