Abstract: This disclosure generally pertains to systems and methods that guard against information piracy by selective activation of tire pressure sensor learning operations in a vehicle. An example method can include receiving, by a processor in a vehicle, a sensor signal from a wheel movement sensor provided in a wheel of the vehicle. The processor may evaluate the sensor signal and detect a tire-changing operation. The tire-changing operation may be detected, for example, based on a major surface of the wheel coming in contact with ground or determining that an angular displacement of a major surface of the wheel exceeds a threshold angle. The processor may then enable a learning mode of operation that can include a wireless pairing of a tire pressure sensor in the wheel to a tire pressure monitoring system of the vehicle. The processor disables the learning mode of operation after a period of time.

Abstract: A system and methods are provided for a suspension system of an off-road vehicle that allows the springs to be mounted remotely, in any location on the vehicle, enabling the use of spring sizes, spring rates, motion ratios, and damping profiles that would be impractical with traditional suspension designs. The suspension system includes a hydraulic cylinder coupled between a suspension component and a chassis, in lieu of a conventional spring. The hydraulic cylinder is in fluid communication with another, second hydraulic cylinder, by way of a hydraulic hose. The second hydraulic cylinder presses against a suspension spring that is in contact with a fixed spring stop, thereby transferring spring forces to the wheel. Alternatively, the spring stop may comprise a control actuator that moves, enabling active control over spring load.
Abstract: A high fatigue life detachable connector. The connector includes two J-shaped elements configured to be coupled to each other with a coupling element therebetween. Each of the J-shaped elements has a shorter leg and an opposed longer leg with the legs drawn together by a bow. Each bow has a top cross-section which transitions to a pair of opposed mid cross-sections 45 degrees from the top cross-section, and which thereafter transitions to a pair of opposed joiner cross-sections 90 degrees from the top cross-section, wherein the top cross-section has a substantially flat top exterior and an opposed radiused interior, resulting in optimized material utilization and structural integrity.
Abstract: An artificial intelligence (AI) X-ray image information detection and correction system is employed either as a component of the X-ray imaging system or separately from the X-ray imaging system to automatically scan post-exposure X-ray images to detect various types of information or characteristics of the X-ray image, including, but not limited to, anatomy, view, orientation and laterality of the X-ray image, along with an anatomical landmark segmentation. The information detected about the X-ray image can then be stored by the AI system in association with the X-ray image for use in various downstream X-ray system workflow automations and/or reviews of the X-ray image.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for dynamically adjusting broadcast beam patterns of a wavefront emitted by an antenna array based on the types of devices communicatively coupled to the base station associated with the antenna array. The broadcast beam patterns can be adjusted by modifying the broadcast mode or at least one phase, amplitude, or power of the at least one antenna associated with the base station. Adjusting the beam pattern, for example between multiple beams and a single unified beam, based on device types can improve the quality of service for the devices and reduce the processing burden of the base station.
Abstract: A system for transportation includes a vehicle having at least one rider located in the vehicle and a data processing system for taking data from a plurality of social data sources. A hybrid neural network is connected to the data processing system. The system for transportation is to optimize satisfaction of the at least one rider based on processing the data from the plurality of social data sources with the hybrid neural network.
Abstract: An interferometric system is provided that includes detects, authenticates and quantifies analytes such as taggants. Methods of using such systems as part of an authentication and material tracking processes are also provided.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for the deposit, withdrawal, and reuse of currency for transactions. According to disclosed embodiments, an intelligent teller machine (ITM) is configured to receive currency as payment for a transaction, to calculate and dispense any change due, and to request that the net value of the transaction (e.g., the revenue) be deposited into the financial account of the business. The currency received by the ITM is also available to make change for future purchase transactions.
Abstract: A vehicle includes a battery, an electric machine, an electrical port, sensors, and a controller. The battery is configured to store electrical power. The electric machine is configured to receive electrical power from the battery to propel the vehicle. The electrical port is configured to receive an electrical connector of a charging station to initiate a charging operation of the battery. The sensors are configured to monitor an exterior of the vehicle. The controller is programmed to, in response to the sensors detecting an unidentified individual approaching the vehicle, eject the electrical connector from the electrical port or enable full operation of the vehicle.

Abstract: A network packet can be received at a host and it can be determined if such packet has a valid cryptographic public key for a destination host. If there is no known valid cryptographic public key, it is determined whether the network packet is a first network packet sent to the destination host, and if so, a queue is designated for network packets addressed to the destination host and a key management server is queried for a valid cryptographic public key associated with the destination host. Otherwise, the network packet is placed in a queue designated for the destination host until a valid cryptographic public key associated with the destination host becomes available. Upon a valid cryptographic public key associated with the destination host becoming available, the network packet is processed, encrypted and sent to the destination host.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed for a window-metric rule for return path data (RPD). In some examples, a media monitor is to determine a first count of a number of devices in a first household that reported RPD for a first day, and compare the first count to a current window-metric, the current window-metric associated with a window of time for the first household, the window of time associated with a content provider and having N number of days. In some examples, the media monitor is also to exclude the RPD from the first household for the first day when the first count does not satisfy the current window-metric, and generate a media exposure report using the RPD from the first household for the first day when the first count satisfies the current window-metric, independent of if the first household has heartbeat data available.
