The method still further comprises transmitting, after the position of the tracking device has been read, the position of the tracking device using a wireless transceiver. The method further comprises waiting a predetermined time after transmitting the position of the tracking device and transmitting a beacon signal using a short-range wireless communication after the predetermined amount of time.
