  • Patent number: 11688947
Abstract: Antenna systems have an RF connector, a PCB dipole antenna, and a radome. The RF connector provides a direct connection to the PCB and limits PIM. An omni-directional WiFi antenna has a pair of horizontal dipole antennas on a PCB having different wavelengths and same frequency. An omni-directional UMTS dual antenna has a vertical arrangement of two independent antennas on a PCB and has a jumper printed circuit board connecting the RF connector to the upper antenna. Corresponding connectors, radomes, and ways of combining antenna elements on a single PCB are also disclosed. A single frequency omnidirectional antenna includes both half and full wavelength dipole elements. A plus-shaped radome enhances the omnidirectional radiation pattern of the enclosed antenna. A jumper printed circuit board allows independent antennas on a single circuit board without the degradation of internal coaxial connections.

  • Patent number: 11687802
Abstract: This application relates to systems and methods for proactively predicting user intents on personal agents. In some examples, a user intent prediction system can include a computing device configured to obtain user intent data identifying a desired action by a user on a network-enabled tool. The computing device is further configured to obtain contextual data characterizing a user's interaction with the network-enabled tool. The computing device can then determine at least one predicted future intent of the user on the network-enabled tool based on the user intent data and the contextual data and present the at least one predicted future intent to the user.

  • Patent number: 11686797
Abstract: A method of controlling and processing data from a hybrid PET-MR imaging system includes acquiring a positron emission tomographic (PET) dataset over a time period, wherein the PET dataset is affected by a quasi-periodic motion of the patient, and acquiring magnetic resonance (MR) data during the time period such that the acquisition time of the MR data relative to the PET dataset is known. A characteristic of the patient motion is then determined based on the PET dataset and the MR data is processed based on the characteristic of patient motion.

  • Patent number: 11688082
Abstract: In one embodiment, a system and method for partitioning a region for point cloud registration of LIDAR poses of an autonomous driving vehicle (ADV) using a regional iterative closest point (ICP) algorithm is disclosed. The method determines the frame pair size of one or more pairs of related LIDAR poses of a region of an HD map to be constructed. If the frame pair size is greater than a threshold, the region is further divided into multiple clusters. The method may perform the ICP algorithm for each cluster. Inside a cluster, the ICP algorithm focuses on a partial subset of the decision variables and assumes the rest of the decision variables are fixed. To construct the HD map, the method may determine if the results of the ICP algorithms from the clusters converge. If the solutions converge, a solution to the point cloud registration for the region is found.

  • Patent number: 11689549
Abstract: Balancing the observed signals used to train network intrusion detection models allows for a more accurate allocation of computing resources to defend the network from malicious parties. The models are trained against live data defined within a rolling window and historic data to detect user-defined features in the data. Automated attacks ensure that various kinds of attacks are always present in the rolling training window. The set of models are constantly trained to determine which model to place into production, to alert analysts of intrusions, and/or to automatically deploy countermeasures. The models are continually updated as the features are redefined and as the data in the rolling window changes, and the content of the rolling window is balanced to provide sufficient data of each observed type by which to train the models. When balancing the dataset, low-population signals are overlaid onto high-population signals to balance their relative numbers.

  • Patent number: 11686168
Abstract: A system and method for determining an efficiency of gas extraction. A chamber allows inflow and outflow of the drilling fluid. An amount of gas extracted from a drilling fluid flowing through the chamber at a constant rate during a dynamic process is measured. A dissolution curve is obtained indicative of a gas remaining in the chamber after the dynamic process. An amount drawn from the chamber during a static process subsequent to the dynamic process is measured. An amount of gas from the drilling fluid during the static process is determined from a difference between the amount of gas drawn from the chamber during the static process and an amount of gas indicated by the dissolution curve. The gas extraction efficiency is determined from a ratio of the amount of gas extracted during the static process and the amount of gas extracted during the dynamic process.
