  • Patent number: 11684873
Abstract: An extrusion system for separating particulates entrained in wash water, e.g. from harvesting tuberous produce, includes a settling tank configured to receive a flow of particulated water. A diffuser suspended within the tank converts the flow of particulated water into multiple transverse flows to avoid churning settled particulates. A particulate filter fixed within the tank includes a central channel surrounded by a cylindrical array of cantilevered parallel vertical blades. The channel directs the flows below the blades, causing dynamic movement of the blades as the particulated water rises therebetween to trap particulates along boundary layers, promote particulate settling by gravity, and allow clarified water to rise to the top of the tank. A sensor detects settled particulate reaching a predetermined setpoint, and in response the system actuates an auger and opens a pinch valve to force concentrated particulate from the bottom of the tank.

  • Patent number: 11687505
Abstract: A current retention mode is identified as being one of conservative or aggressive. When the retention mode is identified as aggressive, a check is made as to whether used space on backup storage is below a lower threshold. If the used space is below the lower threshold, a switch is made into the conservative mode. If the used space is above the lower threshold, the aggressive mode is maintained. While in the aggressive mode, a backup chain of a database is selected for pruning, the selected backup chain having a shortest retention term of all backup chains not yet pruned and not being a latest backup chain. Log backups of the database in the selected backup chain are identified. Each log backup that has expired is deleted regardless of dependency of other backups on an expired log backup.

  • Patent number: 11687538
Abstract: Systems and methods directed to grouping and displaying query results from multiple data stores are described. More specifically, a plurality of data stores to search utilizing a received keyword may be determined, where each data store includes a different search index. A data store specific query for each data store is generated such that results from each data store are received based on the respective data store specific query, where results from each data store include a plurality of file identifiers identifying files located at the respective data store that are relevant to the keyword. In addition results from each data store are grouped into a plurality of groups based on metadata associated with each file identifier of the plurality of file identifiers. The plurality of groups are ranked based on a relevancy associated with each group and information associated with a ranked group is displayed at a user interface.

  • Patent number: 11690013
Abstract: An electronic apparatus used with a separate electronic device, and including: a first radio that wirelessly communicates with the electronic device at a first transmission power in a first power range according to a first wireless protocol; and a second radio that wirelessly communicates the electronic device at a second transmission power in a second power range, that is lower than the first power range, according to a second wireless protocol. The electronic apparatus includes a control circuit that determines whether the first radio is in a power-down state or a power-up state, determines whether a predetermined condition exists, powers-down the first radio when the predetermined condition exists, determines whether a predetermined message is received by the second radio, and powers-up the first radio when it is determined that the predetermined message is received while the first radio is in the power-down state.

  • Patent number: 11688228
Abstract: A rewards system awards a prize to a player of a gaming machine, where the prize is awarded separate from any winnings awarded by the gaming machine for a winning wagering game outcome. The rewards system may comprise an automated prize redemption device having a housing which defines a prize storage area and a rewards server configured to compare activity information obtained from the gaming machine to criteria associated with stored prize events and when met, command the gaming machine to issue a media from a media dispenser of the gaming machine to the player and store information regarding the media and an awarded prize, and when the media is read by a media reader of the prize redemption unit and compare the information regarding the media received from the prize redemption unit against the stored information to determine if the media is valid, and if so, cause the controller of said prize redemption to issue the awarded prize.

  • Patent number: 11689513
Abstract: Systems, methods, and software are disclosed herein to execute functionalities of a blockchain operating system. A transactional request for an operating system instruction is received from a user device in a distributed network of nodes. The transactional request is authenticated in the distributed network of nodes based on data associated with the transactional request. A blockchain is then evaluated for one or more scripts associated with the transactional request. In response, the operating system instruction is generated based on the one or more scripts. The operating system instruction is then transferred to the user device in the distributed network or nodes.

  • Patent number: 11689961
Abstract: Techniques for distribution of application logic in digital networks are disclosed. In one embodiment, the techniques may be realized as a method that includes receiving a request from a first device to initiate a service instance associated with a service. The service instance is associated with application logic. The method further includes determining one or more parameters associated with the request, identifying at least a portion of the application logic to distribute to a mobile edge server based on the one or more parameters, and distributing the at least a portion of the application logic to the mobile edge server to cause the mobile edge server to provide the service instance to the first device.
