Abstract: A method for operating a pool cycling valve includes receiving a stream of water into a valve body through an inlet port to a ratchet assembly in a closed position configured to interfere with the stream of water flowing through the inlet port. Rotating the ratchet assembly from the closed position to an open position, directing the stream of water to a bottom plate outlet port aperture aligned with an outlet port of the valve body. Discharging the stream of water through the outlet port aperture and the outlet port. Rotating the ratchet assembly from the open position to the closed position. Aligning the outlet port aperture with a different outlet port in response to a water pressure change, such as a combination of an increase and a decrease in water pressure, within the valve body.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to a device, such as a wearable display device configured with a laser diode driver implementing dynamic voltage control for laser diodes. The laser diodes may include one or more of a red laser diode, a blue laser diode, and a green laser diode. The device may determine a load condition based on a frame to be displayed at the device, and determine a target voltage level for a laser diode operably coupled to the laser diode driver of the device based on the load condition (e.g., an image signal processor (ISP) frame buffer load). The device may generate the target voltage level for the laser diode based on a base voltage level. For example, the device may be configured with a voltage booster operably coupled to the laser diode driver to provide the target voltage level in addition to the base voltage level.

In one embodiment, the MMACC is an apparatus, with a memory having a component collection, including: a capital structure component, a preferred share class component, and a common share class component. The MMACC also has a processor to issue instructions from the component collection including instructions to obtain a capital structure input via said capital structure component from a system user and determine a preferred share class allocation via said capital structure input and said preferred share class component.

The housing is configured to mate with an electric aircraft port of the electric aircraft. The at least a current conductor is configured to conduct a current. The protection circuit is configured to control transmission of electrical power through the connector. The at least a sensor is configured to detect an output voltage of the connector. The controller is communicatively connected to the at least a sensor. The controller is configured to determine an overvoltage output as a function of the output voltage, and activate the protection circuit based on detection of the overvoltage output.

The computing device is also configured to obtain legacy search results comprising a second list of items and to blend the embedding-based search results with the legacy search results to obtain blended search results. The computing device is also configured to send the blended search results to the customer.

Abstract: The techniques described herein enable the establishment of two simultaneous virtual private network (VPN) connections for a VPN client operating on a remote computing device. The VPN client can establish first VPN connection with a first VPN server instance of a VPN gateway and a second VPN connection with a second VPN server instance of the VPN gateway. To establish two simultaneous VPN connections, the VPN client is configured to create and/or use two Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) sockets. In one example, a first VPN connection can be a primary VPN connection and a second VPN connection can be a dormant VPN connection configured as a backup in case of a service interruption with the first VPN connection. In another example, a data flow can be split across the first and second VPN connections, or alternate between using the first and second VPN connections, based on performance parameters.

Abstract: Systems include one or more critical datacenter connected to behind-the-meter flexible datacenters. The critical datacenter is powered by grid power and not necessarily collocated with the flexible datacenters, which are powered “behind the meter.” When a computational operation to be performed at the critical datacenter is identified and determined that it can be performed more efficiently or advantageously at a flexible datacenter, the computational operation is instead obtained by the flexible datacenters for performance The critical datacenter and flexible datacenters preferably share a dedicated communication pathway to enable high-bandwidth, low-latency, secure data transmissions. A queue system may be used to organize computational operations waiting for distribution to either the critical datacenter or the flexible datacenter.

The method continues with the drive unit determining processing of the filtered agricultural data and executing the processing of the filtered agricultural data.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for navigating a vehicle are disclosed. The methods include extracting lane segment data associated with lane segments of a vector map that are within a region of interest, and analyzing the lane segment data and a heading of the vehicle to determine whether motion of the vehicle satisfies a condition. The condition can be associated with (i) an association between the heading of the vehicle and a direction of travel of a lane that corresponds to the current location of the vehicle and/or (ii) a minimum stopping distance to an imminent traffic control measure in the lane that corresponds to the current location of the vehicle. When the motion does not satisfy the condition, the methods include causing the vehicle to perform a motion correction.

Abstract: Motorized window treatments may each adjust a position of a covering material to allow light into a space in a building. The control information for controlling the motorized window treatments may be stored and/or accessed to understand how the motorized window treatments are operating. The control information may indicate a control state and/or a position of the covering material when an identified daylight intensity is being received at the space. The control information may inform a user of the operation of the motorized window treatments and allow the user to adjust various control parameters by which the motorized window treatments may be controlled. Recommended adjustments may also be provided to the user based on a user-identified problem with the operation of the motorized window treatments. The recommended adjustments to the control parameters may be accepted by the user and may be stored for being accessed and/or edited.

Abstract: In performance testing a data storage system, operating parameters and performance data are recorded as the system executes performance tests over a test period, where the performance data includes measures of a performance characteristic (e.g., latency) across a range of I/O operation rates or I/O data rates for each performance test. Subsets of recorded operating parameters and performance data are selected and applied to a machine learning model to train and use the model, and the model provides a model output indicative for each performance test of a level of validity of the corresponding performance data. Based on the model output indicating at least a predetermined level of validity for a given performance test, the performance data for the performance test are incorporated into a record of validated performance data for the data storage system, usable for benchmarking, regression analysis, hardware qualification, etc.

For instance, a method comprises: receiving an access request for an object associated with a storage system, the storage system including a plurality of physical nodes, each of the plurality of physical nodes including at least one set of virtual units, each set of virtual units including at least one virtual unit; determining, from a plurality of sets of virtual units included in the plurality of physical nodes of the storage system, a target set of virtual units associated with the object; and determining, from the target set of virtual units, a target virtual unit corresponding to the object. With the technical solution of the present disclosure, not only a set of virtual units on a physical node may be easily split and merged, but also huge computing resources that need to be allocated may be saved, so better user experience may be brought about at a lower cost.

Abstract: A litter for carrying an injured person and method of making the same is provided. The litter comprises a pair of frame rails defining a middle space therebetween. A carrying structure is supported by the pair of frame rails in the middle space and defines a top surface and a bottom surface. The carrying structure is configured to support an injured person on the top surface. The litter further comprises at least one spreader bar disposed between the pair of frame rails. At least one foot defining a top and a bottom may be attached to a bottom side of either the at least one spreader bar or at least one of the pair of frame rails. The at least one foot defines a curved surface leading downwardly from the top to the bottom vertically away from the top surface of the carrying structure and horizontally towards the middle space.
