Abstract: A computing system identifies broadcast video for a plurality of games in a first league. The broadcast video includes a plurality of video frames. The computing system generates tracking data for each game from the broadcast video of a corresponding game. The computing system enriches the tracking data. The enriching includes merging play-by-play data for the game with the tracking data of the corresponding game. The computing system generates padded tracking data based on the tracking data. The computing system projects player performance in a second league for each player based on the tracking data and the padded tracking data.

Abstract: A system that suppresses a plurality of interferences of different types in a received audio signal. The system comprises one or more microphones and an audio controller. The one or more microphones are configured to detect the audio signal. The audio controller applies an interference estimation algorithm to the audio signal to generate an attenuation coefficient for each of the plurality of interferences of different types. The audio controller applies the attenuation coefficients to the audio signal to generate an interference-suppressed audio signal in which the plurality of interferences of different types is suppressed. The audio controller determines a time domain signal based on the interference-suppressed audio signal to provide to an end user.

Abstract: A method begins by a drive unit affiliated with farm equipment receiving data from the farm equipment to produce agricultural data. The method continues with the drive unit determining a filtering constraint based on one or more parameters selected from a plurality of lists of agricultural parameters and filtering the agricultural data based on the filtering constraint to produce filtered agricultural data. The method continues with the drive unit determining processing of the filtered agricultural data and executing the processing of the filtered agricultural data.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for navigating a vehicle are disclosed. The methods include extracting lane segment data associated with lane segments of a vector map that are within a region of interest, and analyzing the lane segment data and a heading of the vehicle to determine whether motion of the vehicle satisfies a condition. The condition can be associated with (i) an association between the heading of the vehicle and a direction of travel of a lane that corresponds to the current location of the vehicle and/or (ii) a minimum stopping distance to an imminent traffic control measure in the lane that corresponds to the current location of the vehicle. When the motion does not satisfy the condition, the methods include causing the vehicle to perform a motion correction.

Abstract: A battery-powered motorized window treatment for covering at least a portion of a window may be adjusted into a service position to allow for access to at least one battery that is powering the motorized window treatment. A headrail of the motorized window treatment may be adjusted to the service position to allow for easy replacement of the batteries without unmounting the headrail and without requiring tools. The motorized window treatment may comprise brackets having buttons that may be actuated to release the headrail from a locked position, such that the head rail may be rotated into the service position. The headrail easily rotates through a controlled movement into the service position, such that a user only needs one free hand available to move the motorized window treatment into the service position and change the batteries.

Abstract: An apparatus and method are described for capturing images in visible light as well as other radiation wavelengths. In one embodiment, the apparatus comprises: a diffraction coded imaging system including a plurality of apertures arranged in a diffraction coded array pattern with opaque material blocking array elements not containing apertures; and a light- or radiation-sensitive sensor coupled to the diffraction coded imaging system array and positioned at a specified distance behind the diffraction coded imaging system array, the radiation-sensitive sensor configured to sense light or radiation transmitted and diffracted through the apertures in the diffraction coded imaging system array.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to a device, such as a wearable display device configured with a laser diode driver implementing dynamic voltage control for laser diodes. The laser diodes may include one or more of a red laser diode, a blue laser diode, and a green laser diode. The device may determine a load condition based on a frame to be displayed at the device, and determine a target voltage level for a laser diode operably coupled to the laser diode driver of the device based on the load condition (e.g., an image signal processor (ISP) frame buffer load). The device may generate the target voltage level for the laser diode based on a base voltage level. For example, the device may be configured with a voltage booster operably coupled to the laser diode driver to provide the target voltage level in addition to the base voltage level.

Abstract: A litter for carrying an injured person and method of making the same is provided. The litter comprises a pair of frame rails defining a middle space therebetween. A carrying structure is supported by the pair of frame rails in the middle space and defines a top surface and a bottom surface. The carrying structure is configured to support an injured person on the top surface. The litter further comprises at least one spreader bar disposed between the pair of frame rails. At least one foot defining a top and a bottom may be attached to a bottom side of either the at least one spreader bar or at least one of the pair of frame rails. The at least one foot defines a curved surface leading downwardly from the top to the bottom vertically away from the top surface of the carrying structure and horizontally towards the middle space.

Abstract: A system for dispensing a prescription medication in a controlled manner is disclosed. The system may include a prescription vial and a corresponding programmable cap. The cap may include an outer cover having an exit aperture, an inner cover having an entrance aperture, and a transport portion having a chute. The cap may also include a control system having a processor. In accordance with a schedule prescribed by a medical professional and programmed into the control system, the control system may dispense medication by moving the chute of the transport portion out of alignment with the entrance aperture and into alignment with the exit aperture.

Abstract: A method of generating a player prediction is disclosed herein. A computing system retrieves data from a data store. The computing system generates a predictive model using an artificial neural network. The artificial neural network generates one or more personalized embeddings that include player-specific information based on historical performance. The computing system selects, from the data, one or more features related to each shot attempt captured in the data. The artificial neural network learns an outcome of each shot attempt based at least on the one or more personalized embeddings and the one or more features related to each shot attempt.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and methods that include a monolithic, single-chip receiver. An example system includes a plurality of macropixels, each made up of an array of single photon avalanche diodes (SPADs). The system also includes a plurality of pipelined adders communicatively coupled to a respective portion of the plurality of macropixels. The system additionally includes a controller configured to carry out operations. The operations include during a listening period, receiving, at each pipelined adder of the plurality of pipelined adders, respective photosignals from the respective portion of the plurality of macropixels. The operations also include causing each pipelined adder of the plurality of pipelined adders to provide an output that includes a series of frames that provide an average number of SPADs of the respective portion of the plurality of macropixels that were triggered during a given listening period.

Abstract: A method includes receiving image data associated with an image of a roadway including a crosswalk, generating a plurality of different characteristics of the image based on the image data, determining a position of the crosswalk on the roadway based on the plurality of different characteristics, the position including a first boundary and a second boundary of the crosswalk in the roadway, and providing map data associated with a map of the roadway, the map data including the position of the crosswalk on the roadway in the map. The plurality of different characteristics include a classification of one or more elements of the image, a segmentation of the one or more elements of the image, and one or more angles of the one or more elements of the image with respect to a line in the roadway.

Abstract: A method of presenting information to a party through a messaging application is described. Responsive to receipt of a communication from a party (e.g., the first user), a reply is sent. The communication and the reply is presented in an interface to the sender. The messaging system determines matching content that is relevant to one or both of the communication and the reply and determines a quality of the match. Determining the quality of the match may include determining a score for an advertisement based on the advertisement's responsiveness to content identified in the reply message that was sent. Based on a determination that the quality is above a threshold, the matching content is presented along with the communication and the reply.

Abstract: Methods for sensing formation properties while drilling a well are described. An antenna system and transceiver electronics system are disposed on a drill collar segment. The antenna system includes at least one transmitter antenna for creating an electromagnetic field and at least one receiver antenna for detecting the electromagnetic field. At least one antenna in the antenna system is a magnetic dipole based antenna having at least two slot based magnetic dipoles. The slot based magnetic dipoles include slots in an outer surface of the drill collar segment, wire holes beneath the outer surface connecting the slots with each other and with the transceiver electronics system, a ferrite rod placed in each slot, and, at least one continuous antenna wire passing through the slots and the wire holes.
