In some examples, determining the closing time may include using the filtered current to determine an inflection point of the current.

After calibration of a heat seal bar using a sensor, voltage and current feedback signals are processed by a programmable logic controller (PLC) to calculate the real-time electrical resistance of each heating element. Data and electrical resistance is used to calculate real-time temperature of the heat seal bar during heating.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method for optimizing a controller of an autonomous driving vehicle (ADV) includes obtaining several samples, each sample having a set of parameters, iteratively performing, until a predetermined condition is satisfied: determining, for each sample, a score according to a configuration of the controller based on the set of parameters of the sample, applying a machine learning model to the samples and corresponding scores to determine a mean function and a variance function, producing a new sample as a minimum of a function of the mean function and the variance function with respect to an input space of the set of parameters, adding the new sample to the several samples, and outputting the new sample as an optimal sample, where parameters of the optimal sample are utilized to configure the controller to autonomously drive the ADV.

The control circuit may be configured to monitor the detect signal and to render the switching circuit non-conductive after detecting an edge on the detect signal to reduce the total current through the earth ground.

Once the mobile device is positioned within an appropriate capture zone, the captured images of the user's face are used to create a first representation of the sending user's face, the captured images of the user's hand are used to create a second representation of the sending user's hand. Each representation is provided as output from a receiving artificial reality device, positioned relative to each other.
