  • Patent number: 11676152
Abstract: Application-based point of sale systems in mobile operating systems. A first application may generate a first URL directed to a second application, a parameter of the first URL comprising an identifier of the first application. A mobile operating system (OS) may access the first URL to open the second application. The second application may receive, from a server, a virtual account number (VAN). The second application may initiate a server on a port and generate a second URL directed to the first application, a parameter of the second URL comprising the port. The OS may access the second URL to open the first application. The first application may establish a connection with the server using the specified port and receive the VAN from the second application via the connection. The first application may autofill the VAN to a form field of a payment form in the first application.

  • Patent number: 11672344
Abstract: A support surface including a cutout on a bottom surface of the support surface. The cutout, which can include a plurality of cutouts, provides a controlled structural collapse of the support surface by varying a stiffness in a cross-section. That is, the area in which the cutouts are positioned collapses more easily than the surrounding area of the support structure, thus making the area with the cutouts perceived as being softer. The cutouts can reduce the peak pressures on the portion of the user's body (for example, the user's ischial tuberosities) that is positioned over the cutouts. The support surface can also include a low-friction interface extending across a top surface of the support surface.

  • Patent number: 11678159
Abstract: Various embodiments describe methods, systems and devices for distributing trigger-based function execution in a mesh network. Various embodiments include detecting a trigger and determining whether the detected trigger matches one of a plurality of network events included in a trigger list accessible to the detecting node. In addition, whether a node associated with the detected trigger is available may be determined in response to determining the detected trigger matches one of the plurality of network events included in the trigger list. The node associated with the detected trigger may be configured to execute application logic for initiating at least one action from the mesh network in response to the detected trigger being detected. A trigger detection indicator associated with the detected trigger may be transmitted in response to determining the node associated with the detected trigger is a node other than the detecting node that is available.

  • Patent number: 11675212
Abstract: Systems and methods presented herein include light field displays configured to display primary autostereoscopic images and to simultaneously project light rays toward display devices (e.g., either reflective devices or cameras) to display secondary autostereoscopic images via the display devices. The light rays projected from the light field displays are controlled by a control system based at least in part on positional tracking data (e.g., position, orientation, and/or movement) of the display devices and/or of a portion of humans associated with the display devices, which may be detected via sensors of the display devices and/or via cameras disposed about a physical environment within which the display devices and the humans are located. Specifically, the control system calculates light field vector functions for light rays to be projected toward each individual display device based at least in part on positional tracking data for that particular display device and/or its associated human.

  • Patent number: 11676244
Abstract: Implementations relate to crop yield prediction at the field- and pixel-level. In various implementations, a first temporal sequence of high-elevation digital images may be obtained that capture a first geographic area and are acquired over a first predetermined time interval while the first geographic area includes a particular crop. A first plurality of other data points may also be obtained that influence a ground truth crop yield of the first geographic area after the first predetermined time interval. The first plurality of other data points may be grouped into temporal chunks corresponding temporally with respective images of the first temporal sequence. The first temporal sequence and the temporal chunks of the first plurality of other data points may be applied, e.g., iteratively, as input across a machine learning model to estimate a crop yield of the first geographic area at the end of the first predetermined time interval.

  • Patent number: 11675768
Abstract: Compression of data that permits direct reconstruction of arbitrary portions of the uncompressed data. Also, the direct reconstruction of arbitrary portions of the uncompressed data. Conventional compression is done such that decompression has to begin either at the very beginning of the data, or at particular intervals (e.g., at block boundaries—every 64 kilobytes) within the data. However, the principles described herein permit decompression to begin at any point within the compressed data, without having to decompress any prior portion of the file. Thus, the principles described herein permit random access of the compressed data. In accordance with the principles described herein, this is accomplished by using an index that correlates positions within the uncompressed data with positions within the compressed data.
