  • Publication number: 20230175333
Abstract: An assembly of a setting tool in combination with a delivery tool for an adaptive support allows delivery of the adaptive support in a condition where it stores potential energy. Relative movement between a mandrel and a surrounding sleeve allows release of the adaptive support at a desired subterranean location. The relative movement to release the adaptive support comes from a setting tool that has a setting sleeve and a supporting connection to the mandrel of the delivery tool. The setting sleeve, when triggered to move by preferably an explosive charge, engages a piston rod assembly supported by the delivery tool mandrel for tandem movement to a mandrel travel stop. The tandem movement is regulated, preferably in the delivery tool, with regulation of fluid flow through a restriction to eliminate component failure due to high impact loads when the travel stop is engaged.

  • Publication number: 20230174639
Abstract: Described are swallowable devices, preparations and methods for delivering therapeutic agents within the GI tract such as neutralizing proteins (NP), particularly antibodies which neutralize interleukins. Many embodiments provide a swallowable device e.g., a capsule for delivering various agents into the intestinal wall (IW). Embodiments also provide agent preparations that are configured to be contained within the capsule, advanced from the capsule into the 1W and degrade to release the agent into the bloodstream to produce a therapeutic effect. The preparation can be operably coupled to delivery means having a first configuration where the preparation is contained in the capsule and a second configuration where the preparation is advanced out of the capsule into the IW. Embodiments of the invention are particularly useful for the delivery of interleukin NP’ s (INP) for treatment of inflammatory conditions where such INP’s are poorly absorbed, tolerated and/or degraded within the GI tract.

  • Publication number: 20230175850
Abstract: The disclosure is generally directed to systems and methods to enforce a curfew upon a driver. In an example method, a processor makes a determination whether a vehicle operated by a driver is located inside a geofence during a curfew. The processor reports to user a violation of the curfew if the vehicle is not located inside the geofence during the curfew. The processor may also report an expected curfew violation (based on a speed and/or a distance evaluation of the vehicle) when the vehicle is unable to enter the geofence before a start of the curfew. If the vehicle is located inside the geofence during the curfew, the processor bestows privacy to a travel history of the driver. The travel history is associated with travel by the driver outside the geofence at times other than the curfew.

  • Publication number: 20230179784
Abstract: In a method of video decoding performed in a video decoder, coded information of a current block and neighboring blocks of the current block is received from a coded video bitstream. A most probable mode (MPM) list is generated for the current block. The MPM list includes intra modes that are determined based on intra modes of the neighboring blocks of the current block. One of gradient values and cost values of the neighboring blocks are calculated based on the intra modes of the MPM list. The intra modes of the MPM list are sorted based on the one of the gradient values and the cost values of the neighboring blocks, where each of the intra modes in the MPM list is associated with a respective one of the gradient value and the cost value. Further, the current block is reconstructed based on the MPM list.

  • Publication number: 20230177154
Abstract: This document discloses techniques, apparatuses, and systems for sparse encodings for control signals. Integrated circuits (ICs) may transmit various signals to manage interactions between circuit components of the IC. These critical signals are common targets for malicious attacks because, when altered, they can cause the IC to perform differently than is intended, and in some cases, bypass security measures. To protect against these attacks, the sparse encodings for control signals described herein transmit critical signals with sparse encodings. Further, multiple rails may be used to transmit a single bit of the sparsely encoded critical signals across each rail. In this way, the techniques described herein may provide a scalable solution that may be adjusted differently based on each implementation.

  • Publication number: 20230173445
Abstract: The present invention is generally directed to a reactor for the production of low-carbon syngas from captured carbon dioxide and renewable hydrogen. The hydrogen is generated from water using an electrolyzer powered by renewable electricity or from any other method of low-carbon hydrogen production. The improved catalytic reactor is energy efficient and robust when operating at temperatures up to 1800° F. Carbon dioxide conversion efficiencies are greater than 75% with carbon monoxide selectivity of greater than 98%. The catalytic reactor is constructed of materials that are physically and chemically robust up to 1800° F. As a result, these materials are not reactive with the mixture of hydrogen and carbon dioxide or the carbon monoxide and steam products. The reactor materials do not have catalytic activity or modify the physical and chemical composition of the conversion catalyst.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for determining a source of leaked sensitive data (e.g., passwords, insecure coding, log information, any information that should not exist, etc.) in compiled software applications. According to some aspects, a computing device (e.g., a software analysis device, a cloud-computing device, a server, a smart device, binary file/code scanner, etc.) may receive scan pattern information and a binary file of a software application. The computing device may be configured to determine one or more executable files of the software application based on the binary file. Based on the scan pattern information and the one or more executable files, the computing device may determine location information for one or more sensitive data elements configured with the software application. The computing device may use the location information for each of the one or more sensitive data elements to determine a respective source of the sensitive data element.
