Abstract: A testing system for electrical interconnects having a removable device under test printed circuit board (DUT PCB) that electrically connects with the electrical testing components of the system. A removable top plate is placed on top of the DUT PCB and is locked in place by a plurality of locking posts that selectively connect to cam surfaces in the top plate that pull the top plate down sandwiching the DUT PCB between the top plate and the electrical testing components of the system. An actuator is also presented that presses the device under test into the electrical interconnect at increments where tests are performed on one, some or all of the contact points of the electrical interconnect. This information is then analyzed and graphed to assist with determine the optimum force and/or height to use during actual use.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for customizing, distributing and processing audio signature data. Examples disclosed herein include waking a portable device from an inactive state in response to an activation signal. Disclosed examples also include generating a first signature based on audio from a microphone of the portable device during a period of time specified by the activation signal. Disclosed examples further include comparing the first signature with a second signature obtained from the activation signal to determine a match score, and communicating a match result based on the match score to a server via a network.

Abstract: A helical strake pole system that includes a tubular pole having a longitudinal axis and threaded attachment points. The system further includes a helical strake fin disposed circumferentially around a portion of the tubular pole along the longitudinal axis. The system further includes couplers disposed on the tubular pole. The couplers are configured such that each coupler has a first portion with a slot configured to receive an upper portion of the helical strake fin and a second portion configured to removably coupled to a threaded attachment point of the tubular pole. In addition, each coupler is configured to position a portion of the helical strake fin substantially perpendicular to a surface of the tubular pole.

Abstract: A dynamic, reconfigurable, and modular cleaning device utilizes software, sensors, and modular components to provide a one-size-fits-all approach to cleaning conveyor belts. The cleaning device secures to a body or frame associated with a conveyor belt, in which an associated cleaning head cleans the conveyor belt's surface. The cleaning head has an arm that extends from its body and inserts into a corresponding opening on a connecting frame associated with the cleaning device. The cleaning head is then secured in place via a cylindrical pin that extends through aligned holes on the arm and the connecting plate. Insertion of the pin connects the components together, and removal of the pin enables a user to disconnect the cleaning head and swap a new one in its place, such as to provide a different cleaning action.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for dynamically assigning a wireless communication protocol to one or more antenna elements of an antenna array. The methods can include receiving information associated with one or more user devices and, based on the received information, identifying one or more antenna elements of the antenna array, for switching between first and second wireless communication protocols. The methods can also include switching the one or more antenna elements between the first and second wireless communication protocols.

Abstract: Processing raw data stored in an historian device for determining an amount of products passed through a process element in a process control environment is described. A count value is incremented by a counter at a rate at which products pass through the process element. The count value rolls over to zero when the count value reaches a rollover value R. An historian device periodically receives count value data points from the counter. A deadband value D is set in the historian device for distinguishing between rollovers, resets, and reversals. A client device queries the historian device for an amount of products passed through the process element for a timeframe. The historian device selects a set of count value data points from within the queried timeframe. The historian device determines, based on the selected data points and their quality, an amount of products passed through the process element.

Abstract: A mobile communication technology, and, more particularly, a method for efficiently transmitting data stored in a message 3 (Msg3) buffer and a user equipment for the same is disclosed. The method of transmitting data by a user equipment in uplink includes receiving an uplink (UP) Grant signal from a base station on a specific message, determining whether there is data stored in a message 3 (Msg3) buffer when receiving the UL Grant signal on the specific message, determining whether the specific message is a random access response message, and transmitting the data stored in the Msg3 buffer to the base station using the UL Grant signal received on the specific message, if there is data stored in the Msg3 buffer when receiving the UL Grant signal on the specific message and the specific message is the random access response message.

Abstract: A bed rail having an operating position at one of the sides of a bed and a stored position between a mattress and box spring of the bed. To take down the bed rail, a guard frame portion is disengaged from a base frame portion, then the guard frame portion is pivoted and slid into the base frame portion. To set up the bed rail, the guard frame portion can be slid out of the base frame portion, pivoted relative to the base frame portion, then engaged to the base frame portion and into the operating position at a side of the bed.

Abstract: Methods for treating joint diseases, disorders, and conditions, such as osteoarthritis, with a composition containing a therapeutically effective amount of tissue inhibitors of matrix metalloproteinases (TIMPs) are provided. The composition can contain TIMPs as part of amniotic fluid, or the TIMPs can be isolated from another source or recombinantly produced. The methods are particularly useful for treating osteoarthritis associated with degradation of articular cartilage by proteases. Also provided are methods of lubricating a joint, such as an osteoarthritic joint.

Abstract: A tubing assembly for a work vehicle includes a tube having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is configured to fluidly couple to a fluid source. The tubing assembly also includes a fitting positioned at the second end of the tube. The fitting includes a first radially-expanded portion configured to engage a first side of a plate that is configured to form part of a chassis of the work vehicle, a threaded portion configured to extend through an opening in the plate, and a second radially-expanded portion configured to engage a second side of the plate to trap the plate between the first radially-expanded portion and the second radially-expanded portion, thereby coupling the tube to the plate.

Abstract: Methods and devices for subscription offerings are disclosed. The device determines a set of subscription-based applications stored on the device and for each of the subscription-based applications, determines a service type. The device then determines a first subscription service to offer the user of the device via a graphical user interface of the device. After receiving acceptance of the offer for the first subscription service from the user, the device automatically establishes a customer account for the first subscription service. Then, the device downloads a first subscription service application, generates login information for the customer account, and performs a login to the customer account with the login information.

Abstract: A connector includes: half body parts each including a connector body, and a plurality of terminals attached to the body; end parts formed on both ends of the body formed by allowing the bodies to abut each other; and reinforcing brackets attached to the respective end parts. Each of the bodies is a member integrated with the terminals by primary insert molding, and includes a protrusion extending in the longitudinal direction and holding the terminals, and an embedded part connected to both ends in the longitudinal direction of the protrusion. The end part includes a covering part covering at least the embedded part of each of the bodies, and the covering part is a member integrated with the embedded part and the bracket by secondary insert molding. The connector allows for the spacing between protrusions to be narrowed, simplifying manufacturing, reducing size, and improving reliability.

Abstract: Embodiments for optimizing data storage instances in a cloud environment in which metadata is stored and accessed separately from content data in multiple different instances of data storage units. A metadata and content data storage instance optimization process determines the status of different instances of virtual storage resources for both metadata and content data. Full instances are powered down when they are not needed, empty instances are deleted, and data of partially full instances is moved to other appropriate instances to create empty instances that can be deleted. The data storage instance optimization process is provided as part of a data protection search process that provides an execution environment and user interface to the optimization process.

Abstract: A compact and easy to assemble grill cart to support a collapsible grill cart that includes a base portion, to which side frames can be coupled, and that permits the grill cart to be stored in a compact, folded configuration. The side frames of the cart can be expanded or unfolded to provide a stable structure that can support a cooking unit, such as a grill, grill insert, or firebox. Such a collapsible grill cart can also include doors that provide enclosed storage space within the expanded cart and wheels to facilitate transportation.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a project manager with a configurable platform from which to oversee the status of a project are discussed. A project management application provides a project manager with a granular oversight of individual tasks and a view of task dependencies in a sequence of tasks during a project's execution. A dashboard graphical user interface (GUI) provides graphical depictions of dynamically updated individual task status, group task status and overall project status that are viewable by both project managers and individuals assigned to perform tasks. Processing time associated with sending task notifications and reminder messages to individuals about their assigned tasks that have not been completed and/or acknowledged is reduced.

Abstract: Methods of powering a radio that is mounted on a tower of a cellular base station are provided in which a direct current (“DC”) power signal is provided to the radio over a power cable and a voltage level of the output of the power supply is adjusted so as to provide a substantially constant voltage at a first end of the power cable that is remote from the power supply. Related cellular base stations and programmable power supplies are also provided.

Abstract: There is provided a method for generating network optimizing information including the steps of identifying system devices that are comprised in a network, collecting metrics from the identified system devices, including collecting at least one metric relating to the operation, status, capability, limitations, expandability, scalability, or performance of the system devices, assessing the collected metrics according to a predetermined assessment protocol, generating a roster of metrics of interest, such metrics of interest being a group of the collected metrics that meet a selection criteria and not including other collected metrics that do not meet the selection criteria, and presenting each of the metrics of interest in a format suitable for a network operator to take corrective actions with regard to the identified non-compliant metrics or to capitalize on the identified optimization opportunities with respect to the network.
