Abstract: Tube bending devices including a device actuator, a crank assembly, a bending die, and a clamp assembly. The crank assembly is mechanically coupled to the device actuator. The bending die is mechanically coupled to the crank assembly. The clamp assembly is operatively coupled to the bending die and secures the tube to the bending die. The device actuator selectively drives the crank assembly. In some examples, the crank assembly selectively rotates the bending die over at least 180 degrees. In some examples, the bending die includes an axle and the crank assembly includes a first link, a crank actuator, and a second link. The first link is pivotally coupled to the device actuator and coupled to the axle. The crank actuator is pivotally coupled to the first link. The second link is pivotally coupled to the crank actuator and coupled to the axle.
Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for providing optical engines and laser projectors that are well-suited for use in wearable heads-up displays (WHUDs) are described. The optical engines of the present disclosure may integrate a plurality of laser diodes (e.g., 3 laser diodes, 4 laser diodes) within a single, hermetically or partially hermetically sealed, encapsulated package. Wavelength stabilization for the laser diodes is achieved by controlling the temperature of the lasers to always be in a particular range of operating specifications which provides wavelength stabilization that meets particular performance criteria. The lasers themselves may be used for temperature control by selectively switching them on to maintain their temperature within a specified range. Alternatively, compact resistive heaters may be positioned proximate the laser diodes to control the temperature of the laser diodes during operation. WHUDs that employ such optical engines and laser projectors are also described.

Abstract: At least one aspect of the present disclosure is directed to systems and methods of pruning retrieval tokens from sets of retrieval tokens based on criteria. The system can receive a plurality of retrieval tokens including a second retrieval token. The system can retrieve an indication of a first token and a plurality of requests. The system can construct a first bit string based on the predicted requests and the first retrieval token. The system can retrieve a second bit string corresponding to the second retrieval token. The system can compare the first bit string to the second bit string to determine a similarity value. The system can determine the similarity value is greater than a predetermined threshold. The system can remove the first and second retrieval token from the plurality to create a pruned set of retrieval tokens. The system can provide the pruned set to a content provider.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a motorized drive assembly that includes a motor and a drive assembly, where the drive assembly has an axle configured to be disposed through a rotatable substrate of a polarization shifter for a dual-polarized radiating element, the axle being further configured to fasten, at a first end of the axle, to a support structure of the polarization shifter, wherein, when the motorized drive assembly is assembled to the polarization shifter, the motor is controllable to impart rotational forces, via movement of the axle, to the polarization shifter to effect polarization adjusting for the dual-polarized radiating element. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: There is disclosed in one example a computer-implemented method of detecting a statistically-significant security event and automating a response thereto, including: querying, or causing to be queried, a security intelligence database for sector-wise historical norms for an indicator of compromise (IoC); obtaining sector-wise expected prevalence data for the IoC; receiving observed sector-wise prevalence data for the IoC; computing a first test statistic from a goodness-of-fit test between the observed and expected prevalences; from the observed sector-wise prevalence data, computing a second test statistic from a difference between a highest prevalence and a next-highest prevalence; computing a third test statistic from a difference between the observed prevalence of a highest prevalence sector and the expected prevalence for the highest prevalence sector; selecting a least significant statistic from among the first, second, and third test statistics; and determining from the least significant statistic whet

Abstract: Techniques for parking space light are provided. A parking space light can identify, via one or more instruments of the parking space light, a set of parking spaces in a defined region of a parking structure in which the parking space light is installed, monitor, via the one or more instruments, the set of parking spaces, and determine respective occupied statuses of parking spaces of the set of parking spaces, wherein the respective occupied statuses indicate whether the parking spaces are occupied or unoccupied.

Abstract: Example aspects include techniques for syncing configuration settings between incompatible operating systems. These techniques may include determining, via a first application, system-wide configuration information associated with a host system configuration parameter and a first configuration value of the host operating system, and transmitting a synchronization notification to a second application executing on a guest operating system, wherein the synchronization notification corresponding to the system-wide configuration information. In addition, the techniques may include configuring a guest system configuration parameter to a second configuration value based on the synchronization notification, and executing a third application on the guest operating system based on the second configuration value.
Abstract: A method for mitigating network abuse includes obtaining a first set of network traffic messages of network traffic currently received by a network service and determining, via a first model, whether network abuse is occurring based on the first set of network traffic messages. When the network abuse is occurring, the method includes obtaining a second set of current network traffic messages. The method also includes, for each network traffic message in the second set of network traffic messages, labeling, via a second model, the network traffic message as an abusing network traffic message or a non-abusing network traffic message. The method also includes generating, via a third model, at least one network traffic rule. Each network traffic rule, when implemented, reduces an effect of the abusing network traffic messages.

Abstract: A storage tray provides storage for multiple types of wires, catheters, and other instruments used during surgical procedures. The storage tray includes a base and a set of walls forming a basin that holds liquid. A wire containment section within the basin holds multiple coiled guidewires in a channel filled with the liquid. The wire containment section includes an inner wall and one or more wall segments forming an outer boundary of the channel. A wire holder outside the channel holds end portions of the guidewires. Pulling an end portion of one of the coiled guidewires horizontally causes the guidewire to slide along the inner wall for separation and removal from the storage tray.
Abstract: While operating a vehicle, a candidate marker is detected via first image data from a first image sensor. Upon failing to identify the candidate marker, vehicle exterior lighting is actuated to illuminate the candidate marker. Then the candidate marker is determined to be one of a real marker or a projected marker based on determining whether the candidate marker is detected via second image data from the first image sensor. Upon determining the candidate marker is the real marker, the vehicle is operated based on the real marker.
