  • Patent number: 11669501
Abstract: Techniques for address mirroring of a file system journal are presented. A transactional file system update can correspond to a write operation to be performed at a first participant node of a data storage system. A journal transfer component can transfer the transactional file system update from an initiator node of the data storage system to a first journal associated with the first participant node and recovery information relating to the update to a second journal associated with a second participant node of the data storage system. The recovery information can be determined based on the update. To facilitate the update, a journal descriptor block can be generated and sent to the second participant node, such block comprising the recovery information, which can include transaction state, block addresses involved in the transaction, error correction-related information, or a mirror block address set for the block addresses where desired.

  • Patent number: 11668784
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for determining the quality of a civic address produced by a reverse geocoder, utilizing the uncertainty of a geodetic location and a distance between the geodetic location and a geocoded location (i.e., a civic address) determined by the reverse geocoder. Upon receiving a request by a PSAP for a civic address corresponding to a UE initiating a call for emergency services, a node initially identifies a geodetic location of the UE and an uncertainty of the geodetic location. The node initiates an API call to a reverse geocoder API. The node receives a geocoded location corresponding to the geodetic location and compares the geocoded location to the geodetic location to determine a distance between them. Based on the uncertainty of the geodetic location and the distance between the geodetic location and the geocoded location, a quality of the civic address is determined.

  • Patent number: 11667193
Abstract: Methods of controlling a tandem axle assembly in a vehicle, the tandem axle assembly including an inter-axle differential (IAD), one or more side gears, and a front tandem axle assembly having a pair of front tandem axle half shafts selectively connected to a pair of front tandem axle wheel hub assemblies. When a determined speed of the vehicle is greater or equal to a predetermined speed, the IAD may be locked, the tandem axle wheel hub assemblies may be disconnected from their respective tandem axle shafts, and/or the IAD may be moved out of engagement with the one or more side gears. When a determined speed of the vehicle is less than a predetermined speed, the IAD may be unlocked, the tandem axle wheel hub assemblies may be connected to their respective tandem axle shafts, and/or the IAD may be engaged with the one or more side gears.

  • Patent number: 11670735
Abstract: An electrical power converter can include a plurality of layers disposed on a substrate. An emitter, including a first semiconductor junction that is formed at an interface between a first pair of adjacent layers, can produce light in response to a first electrical signal. An absorber, including a second semiconductor junction that is formed at an interface between a second pair of adjacent layers, can absorb at least some of the light. Circuitry can produce a second electrical signal in response to the absorbed light. The second electrical signal can be substantially proportional to the first electrical signal and can be electrically isolated from the first electrical signal. Because the light can remain within the layers during use, the electrical power converter can have a higher efficiency than a comparable device that propagates the light through at least one interface between air and a semiconductor material.

Abstract: An e-pen includes e-pen sensor electrodes (including a first and a second e-pen sensor electrode) and drive-sense circuits (DSCs) (including a first DSC and a second DSC. The first DSC drives a first e-pen signal having a first frequency via a first single line coupling to the first e-pen sensor electrode and simultaneously senses, via the first single line, the first e-pen signal. Based on e-pen/touch sensor device interaction, the first e-pen signal is coupled into at least one touch sensor electrode of the touch sensor device. The first DSC process the first e-pen signal to generate a first digital signal representative of a first electrical characteristic of the first e-pen sensor electrode. Similarly, the second DSC drives a second e-pen signal having a second frequency via a second single line coupling to the second e-pen sensor electrode and simultaneously senses, via the second single line, the second e-pen signal.
