Publication number: 20230167682Abstract: An improved roller shade system provides increased support, additional adjustments and/or increased safety. The slip plate allows the brake to slip forward and minimize damage to the clutch spring when a user pulls too hard on the hembar. The center drive mechanism extends through a bracket to allow the drive shaft to distribute power in both directions and drive two shade tube simultaneously. The tube adapter absorbs force from the spinning shade tube to minimize damage to the other components and the bead chain. The sprocket has a back wall supporting the sprocket, allowing the sprocket 130 to rest on the back flange of the sun gear to minimize pressure on the gears. An adjustment arm is adjusted to help level the shade band. The shade bands may be removed without disturbing the other shade bands in the system. A height of a hembar may be adjusted by rotating a rod within the hembar.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 25, 2023Publication date: June 1, 2023Applicant: MECHOSHADE SYSTEMS, LLCInventors: Eugene Miroshnichenko, Stephen Hebeisen, Xi Ming Liarno

Publication number: 20230170163Abstract: An illumination system and method are disclosed for maintaining a consistent change in illumination value among a group of illumination devices whenever a change command is manually sent from a keypad to those illumination devices. The consistent change results from maintaining a common start illumination value among not only the group, but also the keypad which controls the group. From the start illumination value, the keypad can then compute an end illumination value depending upon the amount of time that an increase or decrease in illumination value button is depressed and held. Since the change command can arrive at different illumination devices within the group depending upon where each illumination device is geographically located, a masking time is reserved after the button is released so that enough time is allocated for each of the illumination devices within that group to arrive at a common end illumination value.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 30, 2023Publication date: June 1, 2023Applicant: Lutron Technology Company, LLCInventors: Mark Quilling, Rebecca Frank, Kenneth Priester

Publication number: 20230169248Abstract: A soft error-mitigating semiconductor design system and associated methods that tailor circuit design steps to mitigate corruption of data in storage elements (e.g., flip flops) due to Single Events Effects (SEEs). Required storage elements are automatically mapped to triplicated redundant nodes controlled by a voting element that enforces majority-voting logic for fault-free output (i.e., Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR)). Storage elements are also optimally positioned for placement in keeping with SEE-tolerant spacing constraints. Additionally, clock delay insertion (employing either a single global clock or clock triplication) in the TMR specification may introduce useful skew that protects against glitch propagation through the designed device. The resultant layout generated from the TMR configuration may relax constraints imposed on register transfer level (RTL) engineers to make rad-hard designs.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 31, 2023Publication date: June 1, 2023Applicant: Fermi Research Alliance, LLCInventors: Sandeep Miryala, James Richard Hoff, Grzegorz W. Publication number: 20230167725Abstract: A method of hydraulic fracturing of an oil producing formation includes the provision of a heating apparatus which is transportable and that has a vessel for containing water. A water stream of cool or cold water is transmitted from a source to a means for increasing the temperature of the cool or cold water, the cool or cold water stream being at ambient temperature. The means for increasing the temperature of the cool or cold water has an inlet that receives cool or cold water from the source and an outlet that enables a discharge of a mix of cool or cold water and the hot water. After mixing in the means for increasing the temperature of the cool or cold water, the water assumes a temperature that is suitable for mixing with chemicals that are used in the fracturing process, such as a temperature of about 40°-120° F.+ (4.4° - 48.9° C.+). An outlet discharges a mix of the cool or cold and hot water to tanks.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 3, 2022Publication date: June 1, 2023Applicant: HEAT ON-THE-FLY, LLCInventor: Ransom Mark Hefley
