Abstract: A security rule associated with an application is identified. This may be done continuously and verified using machine learning models to ensure that the environment characterized by the data has not changed. For example, a security rule may be which ports are open/closed on a firewall. In response to identifying the security rule associated with the application, a security test based on the security rule is generated. For example, the security test may be to test all the ports on the firewall to see which ports are open/closed. The security test against the application is executed to determine if the security rule has been implemented properly by the application.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to laminate structures to cover or protect substrates or surfaces. The laminate structure comprises a support layer and a self-sterilizing/antimicrobial layer comprising a sulfonated polymer, capable of killing microbes within minutes and for an extended period of time. The sulfonated polymer has a sufficient degree of sulfonation to kill in less than 120 minutes at least 90% of microbes in contact with the surfaces, and for extended protection of the surfaces for at least one month. The laminate structure is particularly suitable for protecting high-touch surfaces such as door knobs, touch-screens, tables, as well as for use with facemasks, face shields, or as self-sterilizing wraps for surgical instruments and supplies. The laminates can also be used as garments or to cover/protect personnel having contagious diseases, etc., to decrease the transmission of microbes.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for a mechanism for detecting model bias using a test model to compare predictions for specific categories of data. Thus, the system may detect category-specific model bias and/or present alternative predictions, for example, via overfitted and alternative machine learning models. Another mechanism for detecting model bias is to use residual data from predictions obtained from a machine learning model as the machine learning model processes different datasets (e.g., a training dataset and a compare dataset).

  • Publication number: 20230169136
Abstract: A technology for the optimized capturing of resource file content for resources referred in recorded user interaction sequences is disclosed. Individual resource files are typically referred in multiple recorded resources, therefore it is desired to capture those resources only once and reuse them for all recorded session capturing them. As user interaction sequences are executed and captured in independently operating web-browsers, a direct coordination between recording web-browsers to avoid multiple captures of the same resource is not possible. Data about the global resource capturing and demand situation is generated on a monitoring server that receives all session recording data and transferred to session recording browsers in form of lists identifying resources that are referred in sessions but are still unresolved and should therefore be captured, and for resources that should not captured, because they are already available and capturing them again should be avoided.

Abstract: In aspects of object and environment dimensioning based on UWB radios, a system includes objects in an environment that are tagged objects and non-tagged objects. The system includes ultra-wideband (UWB) radios associated with respective tagged objects in the environment. A mapping module is implemented to determine a location of each of the tagged objects in the environment based on a position of the UWB radio associated with a tagged object, and determine a location of each of the non-tagged objects in the environment based on the positions of the UWB radios. The mapping module can also determine dimensions of the environment and the objects based on the location and a relative position of each tagged object and non-tagged object in the environment. In implementations, one or more of the UWB radios are UWB tags located for association with the respective tagged objects.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate generally to the detection of molecules, such as biomolecules, using functionalized particles, including microparticles. In one set of embodiments, a target molecule can be determined using magnetic particles and signaling particles that are able to bind to a portion of the target molecules. After allowing the magnetic and signaling particles to bind to the target molecule, e.g., to from a complex or an assembly, a magnetic field can be used to attract the magnetic particles, e.g., to a certain po sition. Determination of whether the signaling entity is present in the location, qualitatively or quantitatively, can then be used to determine the target molecule. Other embodiments are generally directed to systems for making or using such particles or assemblies, kits including these, or the like.

Abstract: A mount for mounting a firearm sound suppressor or silencer to a firearm muzzle or muzzle device operates by using primary mounting lugs on the suppressor which engage sockets on the muzzle device. The primary lugs prevent the suppressor from axially moving with respect to the muzzle device, thus causing them to be fixed together as a unitary device. Angled bearing faces on the muzzle device and the sound suppressor are pressed against each other by rotating the sound suppressor on threads which drive the angled bearing faces together, thus tightening the primary lugs within their sockets. Backup lugs on the silencer engage an annular groove on the muzzle device to retain the silencer on the firearm to which it is mounted in case of failure of the primary lugs. Rapid attachment and detachment are supported by these structures.
