    Abstract: A see through apparatus receives a paper document. The see through apparatus includes a first scanning element, a second scanning element, and a processor coupled to the first scanning element and the second scanning element. Each of the first and second scanning elements illuminate a respective side of the paper document while the other scanning element captures an image. The processor detects kinematic artifacts on the paper document and determines that the paper document is fraudulent based on the detected kinematic artifacts. The processor also detects an alignment feature from the image capture from the first image or the second image, and determines that the document is not aligned based on the detected alignment feature.

The information in each data unit allows generation of an animated visual representation of the reference person in the reference state. The reference state is different for each of the data units.     Abstract: A cooling system uses P-traps to address the oil return issues that result from a vertical separation between the compressor and the high side heat exchanger. Generally, the vertical piping that carries the refrigerant from the compressor to the high side heat exchanger includes P-traps installed at various heights to capture oil in the refrigerant and to prevent that oil from flowing back to the compressor. As oil collects in the P-traps, the refrigerant begins to push the oil upwards until the oil reaches the high side heat exchanger. Multiple piping of different sizes may be used depending on a discharge pressure of the compressor. When the discharge pressure is higher, a larger piping may be used direct the oil and refrigerant to the high side heat exchanger.

    Abstract: Techniques are presented for performing in-memory matrix multiplication operations for binary input, binary weight valued convolution neural network (CNN) inferencing. The weights of a filter are stored in pairs of memory cells of a storage class memory device, such as a ReRAM or phase change memory based devices. To reduce current consumption, the binary valued filters are transformed into ternary valued filters by taking sums and differences of binary valued filter pairs. The zero valued weights of the transformed filters are stored as a pair of high resistance state memory cells, reducing current consumption during convolution. The results of the in-memory multiplications are pair-wise combined to compensate for the filter transformations. To compensate for zero valued weights, a zero weight register stores the number of zero weights along each bit line and is used to initialize counter values for accumulating the multiplication operations.
