Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture for identifying streaming sessions are disclosed. An example apparatus includes an audience measurer to determine an identifier for a commercial presented at a media presentation device, and to determine a time at which the commercial was presented. The example apparatus also includes a log analyzer to compare the identifier and the time to a streaming session log from a streaming service provider (SSP) to identify a streaming session in which the commercial associated with the identifier was presented at the time. Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure include methods, apparatuses, and non-transitory computer-readable storage mediums for video encoding/decoding. An apparatus includes processing circuitry that determines an offset of a quantization parameter for a chroma component of a coding region based on one of (i) a pixel value range of the chroma component, (ii) a complexity level of the chroma component, or (iii) a noise level of the chroma component. The processing circuitry performs a quantization process on a transform coefficient of the coding region based on the quantization parameter and the determined offset. The processing circuitry generates a video bitstream that includes the quantized transform coefficient.
Abstract: A method for reducing radiologically-contaminated waste is provided. The method comprises treating radiologically-contaminated surfaces and subsurfaces. The method comprises consolidating soil waste. The method comprises employing real-time scanning technology to classify waste based at least in part on a threshold of radiological contamination. The waste is sorted based on the classification. The waste is disposed of via at least one of different disposal routes, based at least in part on the classification.
Abstract: A process for making a circuit board modifies a catalytic laminate having a resin rich surface with catalytic particles dispersed below a surface exclusion depth. The catalytic laminate is subjected to a drilling and resin-rich surface removal operation to expose the catalytic particles, followed by an electroless plating operation which deposits a thin layer of conductive material on the surface. A photo-masking step follows to define circuit traces, after which an electro-plating deposition occurs, followed by a resist strip operation and a quick etch to remove electroless copper which was previously covered by photoresist.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a lighting device for use with inflatable products, such as balloons. Specifically, the lighting device may be configured to utilize external audio to produce a pattern of light corresponding with the external audio. The lighting device is able to couple to a balloon to light up the interior of the balloon without the significant loss of gas or other inflating fluid from the balloon.
Abstract: A system and method for moving and aligning tandem axle lock pins on a semi-trailer, having a viewer and a remote receiver that are placeable in communication with each other. The viewer is attachable to a trailer so that a camera on the viewer can be positioned such that the trailer slide rail and tandem axle slider frame of a trailer are within the field of vision. The remote receiver may be a smartphone which can access data from the camera so that the user can from a remote location, such as a cab of a tractor, determine the alignment and orientation of the trailer slide rail and the tandem axle slider frame.

Abstract: A contact lens for shaping a cornea of an eye of a patient to treat high cylinder astigmatism may include a peripheral portion, an alignment portion, a treatment portion, a reverse portion, and a staining feature. The peripheral portion may cause migration of epithelial cells from a periphery of a cornea of the eye of the patient towards a center of the cornea of the eye of the patient. The alignment portion may align the contact lens on the cornea. The treatment portion may cause migration of the epithelial cells from the center of the cornea towards the periphery of the cornea. The reverse portion may relieve pressure caused by the migration of the epithelial cells. The staining feature may contact the cornea, thereby reshaping the cornea to treat high cylinder astigmatism. The staining feature may apply a ribbon-shaped staining pattern to the cornea across the contact lens.

Abstract: A method performs large-scale data processing in a distributed and parallel processing environment. The method defines application-independent map and reduce operations, each invoking one or more library functions that automatically handle data partitioning, parallelization of computations, and fault tolerance. Abstract: Example embodiments of systems and methods for application verification are provided. An application may generate a cryptographic key, and encrypt the cryptographic key with a predefined public key. A server, in data communication with the application, may include a predefined private key. The application may transmit the cryptographic key to the server. The server may receive, from the application, the cryptographic key; decrypt the cryptographic key using the predefined private key; encrypt an authorization token using the decrypted key; and transmit, to the client application, the authorization token via an out-of-band channel. The application may receive, from the server, the authorization token via the out-of-band channel; and decrypt the authorization token to obtain access to one or more services associated with the server.
