The wireless device may determine, while the two-step random access type and a four-step random access type are available for transmitting a preamble, that the two-step random access resources comprise contention-free two-step random access resources. The wireless device may also select from among the two-step random access type and the four-step random access type, the two-step random access type. The wireless device may then transmit a preamble to the base station using the two-step random access resources, based on the two-step random access type.

    Abstract: Biquad stage systems and methods include receiving at biquad sections a signal sample, generating, by each biquad section, a pair of output values based on the signal sample, including a first value based on fixed-point processing path and a second value emulating a floating-point processing path, and accumulating the pair of output values from each of the plurality of biquad sections to generate an output signal. The biquad stage receives an N-bit input signal, which is processed by a biquad section. Delay elements delay the signal sample before input to other biquad sections. The delayed signal sample is input to the first processing path and the second processing path of a corresponding biquad stage. By performing the processing based on two paths, a more accurate result can be found when using a reduced word length in the multiply operations resulting in a lowering of the power consumption.

    Abstract: An embodiment of the novel and inventive vertical hydroponic system comprises a double-sided system, each side having two sets of double-door tile panels. Each door is mounted on hinges attached at either the right or left sides of an external support frame with the doors opening out from the middle. Each door in this embodiment may support a 6×4 array of novel and inventive tiles, each tile arranged with two columns of 3 pot supports, each such tile capable of supporting 6 grow pots, for a total of 144 grow pots per door. In this embodiment all four doors can support up to 576 grow pots. However, an infinite number of tile variations are possible with the 2×3 array being just one. The doors can be opened during the growth cycle without disconnecting or interrupting the irrigation components which allows for fast and easy harvesting and maintenance. A submersible pump and its control electronics are mounted in the support framework so the system is self-contained.

    Abstract: A method and structures are used to fabricate a nanosheet semiconductor device. Nanosheet fins including nanosheet stacks including alternating silicon (Si) layers and silicon germanium (SiGe) layers are formed on a substrate and etched to define a first end and a second end along a first axis between which each nanosheet fin extends parallel to every other nanosheet fin. The SiGe layers are undercut in the nanosheet stacks at the first end and the second end to form divots, and a dielectric is deposited in the divots. The SiGe layers between the Si layers are removed before forming source and drain regions of the nanosheet semiconductor device such that there are gaps between the Si layers of each nanosheet stack, and the dielectric anchors the Si layers. The gaps are filled with an oxide that is removed after removing the dummy gate and prior to forming the replacement gate.
