Abstract: Customized highlight shows for sporting events, entertainment events, and/or the like, having a narrative component, are generated and presented. The events can be sporting events, entertainment events, and/or the like. For example, in the context of sporting events, a determination is made as to what types of sports, teams, leagues, players, plays, and/or the like are of interest to the user. A customized highlight show is then generated and presented, containing those specific portions of the sporting events that are likely to be of interest, arranged in a manner that is likely to be entertaining and interesting to the user and that presents a cohesive narrative.

Abstract: A neuro-symbolic retrieval augmented generation hybrid method includes detecting an incomplete entigen group within a knowledge database. The incomplete entigen group includes entigens and one or more entigen relationships between at least some of the entigens. The incomplete entigen group represents knowledge of a topic. The method further includes obtaining additive content for the topic based on the incomplete entigen group and generating an additive entigen group based on the additive content. The method further includes updating the incomplete entigen group utilizing the additive entigen group to produce an updated entigen group. The method further includes indicating that the updated entigen group has an un-curated status when the additive entigen group conflicts with the incomplete entigen group.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a method of separating a carbon allotrope from a salt and a separation system for the same. The method may include adding a solid comprising the carbon allotrope and the salt to a solution comprising the salt, performing a first filtration on the solution at a first temperature to remove the carbon allotrope from the solution, adjusting the temperature of the solution to a second temperature to precipitate a first portion of the salt, performing a second filtration on the solution at the second temperature to remove the first portion of the salt from the solution, adjusting the temperature of the solution to the first temperature to dissolve a second portion of the salt in the solution, and recycling the solution.

Abstract: A system and method of re-identifying players in a broadcast video feed are provided herein. A computing system retrieves a broadcast video feed for a sporting event. The broadcast video feed includes a plurality of video frames. The computing system generates a plurality of tracks based on the plurality of video frames. Each track includes a plurality of image patches associated with at least one player. Each image patch of the plurality of image patches is a subset of the corresponding frame of the plurality of video frames. For each track, the computing system generates a gallery of image patches. A jersey number of each player is visible in each image patch of the gallery. The computing system matches, via a convolutional autoencoder, tracks across galleries. The computing system measures, via a neural network, a similarity score for each matched track and associates two tracks based on the measured similarity.

Each of the plurality of H-type multilevel power converters is a solid-state integrated circuit (IC) that includes a positive DC power bus, a negative DC power bus, a neutral bus, and a plurality of semiconductor switches disposed in a stacked arrangement. The plurality of semiconductor switches is interconnected via the positive DC power bus, the negative DC power bus, and the neutral bus.

Abstract: A method of generating a player prediction is disclosed herein. A computing system retrieves data from a data store. The computing system generates a predictive model using an artificial neural network. The artificial neural network generates one or more personalized embeddings that include player-specific information based on historical performance. The computing system selects, from the data, one or more features related to each shot attempt captured in the data. The artificial neural network learns an outcome of each shot attempt based at least on the one or more personalized embeddings and the one or more features related to each shot attempt.

In one example, a golf club head includes a body portion, a first interior cavity portion, and a face portion, which includes a back surface with a face perimeter portion, a ridge portion extending from the face perimeter portion, and a wall portion coupled to the ridge portion and extending outward from the ridge portion to define a second interior cavity portion in the body portion. Abstract: Described herein are embodiments of an apparatus that include and/or consist of a spill-proof lid for a drinking container. In an embodiment, the apparatus may include a lid, where the lid is configured to include a straw having a leak-proof engagement with the lid and may also include a one-way valve disposed in a portion of the straw that only allows liquid to exit the container (through the straw) when the pressure inside the container is sufficiently greater than the pressure outside the container. In another embodiment, the apparatus may include a handle attached to the spill-proof lid that moves between an open and a closed position and that makes carrying the apparatus easier.

Abstract: One or more packing systems and/or methods of manufacture are disclosed for a valve seal with lowered emissions while being complaint with fire standards. The packing system may have alternating mid-layers, a top layer, a bottom layer, and a first end cap and a second end cap. The layers can be formed of a flexible graphite-based material and/or a metal and/or non-fluoropolymer material. The layers may be bonded together and expand under compression to form a seal between a valve stem and a stuffing box.
