Abstract: In one aspect, a share data allocation (SDA) computing device is provided. The SDA computing device includes at least one processor in communication with a database. The at least one processor is configured to receive direct-share participant (DSP) request data indicating an amount each DSP is willing to invest and receive interest-based participant (IBP) request data indicating an amount each IBP is willing to invest. The at least one processor is also configured to apply a first mapping algorithm to the DSP request data and apply a second mapping algorithm to the IBP request data. Abstract: In one embodiment, a computing system may access surfaces and texel data of an artificial reality scene. The surfaces may be generated based on a first viewing position of a viewer. The system may determine tiles on a display to test for a visibility of the surfaces from a second viewing position. The tiles may include first tiles that need more computational resources and second tiles that need less computational resources. The system may determine a tile order which interleaves the first and second tiles. The system may generate rays based on the tile order. The system may determine the visibility of the surfaces from the second viewing position based on the ray-surface intersections. The system may generate color values of a subframe based on the surface visibility and the texel data. The system may provide the color values to the display.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide swallowable devices, preparations and methods for delivering drugs and other therapeutic agents within the GI tract. Many embodiments provide a swallowable device for delivering the agents. Particular embodiments provide a swallowable device such as a capsule for delivering drugs into the intestinal wall or other GI lumen. Embodiments also provide various drug preparations that are configured to be contained within the capsule, advanced from the capsule into the intestinal wall and degrade to release the drug into the bloodstream to produce a therapeutic effect. The preparation can be operably coupled to delivery means having a first configuration where the preparation is contained in the capsule and a second configuration where the preparation is advanced out of the capsule into the intestinal wall. Embodiments of the invention are particularly useful for the delivery of drugs which are poorly absorbed, tolerated and/or degraded within the GI tract.
Abstract: Various embodiments illustrated herein disclose an axle lock assembly comprising a first plate with a first aperture, a second plate with a second aperture, a shaft, wherein the shaft is inserted through the first aperture and the second aperture and a bush. When the hushing is in contact with the first plate and the second plate, the bush creates a lateral force to move the first plate and the second plate in opposite directions to secure the shaft.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for training a machine learning model to generate density values and radiance components based on positional data, along with a weighting scheme associated with a particular view direction based on directional data to compute a final RGB value for each point along a plurality of camera rays. The positional data and directional data are extracted from set of training images of a particular static scene. The radiance components, density values, and weighting schemes are cached for efficient image data processing to perform volume rendering for each point sampled. A novel viewpoint of a static scene is generated based on the volume rendering for each point sampled.

Abstract: An apparatus utilizes a membrane unit to capture components from atmospheric air, including carbon dioxide, enriches the carbon dioxide concentration, and delivers the enriched concentration of carbon dioxide to a sequestering facility. The membrane is configured such that as a first gas containing oxygen, nitrogen and carbon dioxide is drawn through the membrane, a permeate stream is formed where the permeate stream has an oxygen concentration and a carbon dioxide concentration higher than in the first gas and a nitrogen concentration lower than in the first gas. A permeate conduit, having a vacuum applied to it by a vacuum generating device receives the permeate stream and a delivery conduit delivers at least a portion of the enriched carbon dioxide to a sequestering facility. The apparatus may comprise a component of a system where the system may have a flue gas generator and/or a secondary enrichment system disposed between the vacuum generating device and the sequestering facility.
Abstract: An acoustic metamaterial (AMM) passive impedance matching device for headphone-type devices for matching the complex acoustic impedance load of a human ear to enhance acoustic performance of a headphone is disclosed. The device includes shunt compliance chambers stacked concentrically relative to one another from an upper end to a lower end. Each of the shunt compliance chambers includes side connecting inductive channels positioned annularly around a circumference of at least one of the shunt compliance chambers. The shunt compliance chambers define a predetermined volume of air. The inductive channels connect the shunt compliance chambers to the main headphone volume, generating an acoustic resistance and reactive impedance that matches the complex acoustic impedance load of the human ear canal. The AMM device also includes an inductive channel, as a design parameter, extending from the main headphone volume to the ambient air serving as an additional resistive and reactive load.
Abstract: A connector system for a pluggable IO connector is disclosed that includes a plug with two rows of pads on two sides of a mating blade and a receptacle with two connection regions that is configured to engage the two rows of pads. In an embodiment the connector system can support double the data bandwidth of a typical connector, such as a QSFP connector, while allowing for backward compatibility with convention plug assemblies that have a single row of pads on each side the mating blade.

Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods for creation of a 3D mesh from a video stream or a sequence of frames. A sparse point cloud is first created from the video stream, which is then densified per frame by comparison with spatially proximate frames. A 3D mesh is then created from the densified depth maps, and the mesh is textured by projecting the images from the video stream or sequence of frames onto the mesh. Metric scale of the depth maps may be estimated where direct measurements are not able to be measured or calculated using a machine learning depth estimation network.

The accessory device attached to the mobile computing device provides additional space for integrating haptic actuators, which provide complex haptic information to a user of the mobile computing device. Using the haptic device accessory, the mobile computing device can convey haptic information to a user of the accessory device. In this way, a haptic device accessory can improve the otherwise limited haptic experience for a user of the accessory device.
