Abstract: An apparatus for texturing a plastic substrate, while forming a dye sublimation image in the plastic substrate, wherein the plastic substrate has a first side and a second side, is provided. A textured cover is on a side of a platen, wherein the platen is on a first, untextured side of the textured cover. A first side of the dye carrier is on a second, textured side of the textured cover, and wherein the plastic substrate is supported on a second side of the dye carrier, wherein a first side of the plastic substrate is supported by the dye carrier, wherein the textured side of the textured cover has a texture to be transferred to the plastic substrate. A membrane is on the second side of the plastic substrate. A vacuum pump provides a vacuum between the membrane and the platen. A heater is positioned to heat the plastic substrate.
Abstract: In some embodiments, a system includes an applicator pad, an application device (e.g., a grip), and a reservoir. The grip can be releasably couplable to the applicator pad and configured to dispose the applicator pad against a wound of a subject such that pressure can be transferred to the wound via the applicator pad to enhance hemostasis. The reservoir can be configured to contain medication to be released to the wound via the applicator pad.

Abstract: An aftertreatment system for a work vehicle includes: a fluid injector configured to inject a treatment fluid; a selective catalytic reducer (SCR) substrate; and a mixer fluidly coupled to the fluid injector and the SCR substrate and including at least one scroll defining a scroll open area and configured to receive a flow of exhaust gas and the treatment fluid. The mixer has a fixed wall and a plate displaceably coupled to the fixed wall, the plate being associated with the at least one scroll such that a change in a flow rate of exhaust gas into the at least one scroll passively causes displacement of the plate to adjust a size of the scroll open area.

Abstract: Systems and methods of voice activated thread management in a voice activated data packet based environment are provided. A natural language processor (“NLP”) component can receive and parse data packets comprising a first input audio signal to identify a first request and a first trigger keyword. A direct action application programming interface (“API”) can generate a first action data structure with a parameter defining a first action. The NLP component can receive and parse a second input audio signal to identify a second request and a second trigger keyword, and can generate a second action data structure with a parameter defining a second action. A pooling component can generate the first and second action data structures into a pooled data structure, and can transmit the pooled data structure to a service provider computing device to cause it device to perform an operation defined by the pooled data structure.
Abstract: Dynamic data rate selection in wireless networks is described. The includes sending, by a wireless controller to a base station, an access point power-data rate table. The base station updates a base station power-data rate table with the access point power-data rate table based on checking defined thresholds, confirms the validity of the updated base station power-data rate table by receiving measurements from a user device responsive to communications using the updated base station power-data rate table, reverts to a previous base station power-data rate table if the measurements indicate that the updated base station power-data rate table is not correct, and sends to the wireless controller one of the updated base station power-data rate table or the previous base station power-data rate table. The wireless controller updates the access point power-data rate table and sends the updated access point power-data rate table to an access point.

Abstract: Provided is a pump-action firearm having a frame. A barrel having a chamber is supported on the frame. A rotating ammunition clip has a plurality of circumferentially spaced cartridge sockets and is removably supported by the frame. A bolt is manually slidably cycled between in-battery and retracted positions. The bolt is moveable into a socket to push a cartridge out of the socket and into the chamber to the in-battery position and retractable to extract the cartridge from the chamber and back into the socket.

Methods and apparatus for generation of a stylized reporting structure for data that is, for example, arbitrary or indeterminate are also disclosed.

Abstract: A high-speed automated separation apparatus includes a pair of flexible discs, a driver to rotate the flexible discs, a feeder to position a rigid body at a first location between the flexible discs, a spreader and a converger operable upon the flexible discs such that opposing portions of the flexible disc converge upon the positioned rigid body. The rotating flexible discs rotate the rigid body beyond the first location, and content from the rigid body is expelled. The rigid body and the expelled content are then available for reuse.
Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments of a swaddle wrap that can, in some embodiments, include a first portion having a backing layer, a front layer, and a first enclosure between the backing layer and the front layer, and a second portion coupled with the first portion, the second portion having a backing layer, a front layer, and a second enclosure between the backing layer and the front layer of the second portion. In some embodiments, the swaddle wrap can be configured to be moved from a first state to a second state, the first enclosure can be configured to receive therein at least both feet of a baby in the second state, and the second enclosure can be configured to receive therein at least both feet of the baby in the second state to secure the swaddle wrap to the baby without the use of any fasteners or ties.
