  • Patent number: 11620337
Abstract: An identification and contextualization system comprising a contextualizing engine is provided. The contextualizing engine comprises various components that are operable to analyze an information item related to a user for identifying one or more individuals associated with the information item, and interrogate a graph structure for determining whether each of the one or more individuals associated with the information item is someone whom the user has met or has worked with based on edges and weights stored in the graph structure. When an individual who is associated with the information item is identified, the contextualizing engine is further operable to discover contextual information associated with the individual, and generate an information element surfacing the contextual information associated with the individual for display to the user.

  • Patent number: 11622216
Abstract: Systems and methods for interactive mobile fitting of hearing aids are provided. The method includes a mobile device receiving a reduced size fitting data set having a set of sampling points from a hearing aid. The method includes interpolating the reduced size fitting data set into a continuous fitting curve presented at a display of the mobile device with user interface objects that each correspond with one or more sampling points. The method includes receiving a user input manipulating a user interface object. The user input adjusts a value of sampling point(s) corresponding to the user interface object to generate an updated reduced size fitting data set that is communicated to the hearing aid. The method includes generating a substitute complete fitting data set based on the updated reduced size fitting data set for application to input audio to generate modified audio that is output from the hearing aid.

  • Patent number: 11620374
Abstract: In some embodiments, securing device commands includes a first electronic device receiving a command authorization request message from a second electronic device, including a device command to be performed by the second electronic device, a command argument, and a first message authentication code (MAC) generated by applying a hash function to the device command, the command argument and a first counter value. The first electronic device generates a second MAC by applying the hash function to the device command, the command argument and a second counter value synchronized with the first counter value. The first electronic device compares the first MAC and the second MAC to authenticate the device command and transmit a command approval message or a command denial message. The command approval message causes the second electronic device to perform the device command and the command denial message causes the second electronic device to reject the device command.

  • Patent number: 11620489
Abstract: A system for prospectively identifying media characteristics for inclusion in media content is disclosed. A neural network database including media characteristic information and feature information may associate relationships among the media characteristic information and feature information. Personal characteristic information associated with target media consumers may be used to select a subset of the neural network database. A first set of nodes, representing selected feature information, may be activated. The node interactions may be calculated to detect the activation of a second set of nodes, the second set of nodes representing media characteristic information. Generally, a node is activated when an activation value of the node exceeds a threshold value. Media characteristic information may be identified for inclusion in media content based on the second set of nodes.

  • Patent number: 11621861
Abstract: The disclosed techniques optimize the use of computing resources and user engagement by dynamically displaying a group of users of a communication session within a designated display area where each user of the group each share a common activity factor. For example, participants can be part of a group displayed in a certain section of a user interface or on a particular display screen if they each share a location, a role, a set of permissions, a team, a contribution level, etc. A system can also allow users of a group to exclusively control content that is displayed within a designated display area associated with the group. By dynamically displaying a group of users and content they control within designated display area by the use of a common activity factor, a system can improve user engagement by enabling users to readily identify people of interest.
