    Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for calculating a location of an autonomous driving vehicle includes receiving new global navigation satellite system (GNSS) data. The method further includes identifying a first previously estimated location from a plurality of previously estimated locations with a timestamp that is closest to the timestamp of the new GNSS data and identifying a second previously estimated location from the plurality of previously estimated locations with a most recent timestamp. The method further includes calculating a difference between the first previously estimated location and the second previously estimated location, adjusting the new GNSS data based on the difference; and calculating a current estimated location of the ADV based on the adjusted GNSS data.

    Abstract: An upholstered piece of furniture with a frame including a pair blow molded hollow arm rest forms, wherein spanning wood frame members extend between the forms. The wood frame members secured to the forms with interference fits, and minimal threaded fasteners. The arm rest forms have through slots which allow the seat deck and arm upholstery to be pulled through and anchored with staples providing a secure attachment. Threaded fasteners clamp onto the polymer wall of the forms for attachment of frame members. A blowmolded backrest has a metal reinforcing arms connecting to a seat platform. Holes in arm rest allow upholstery panel connections with Christmas tree connectors. The connections to the arm rest forms and providing a geometrically rigid and robust sofa frame that is weighs less, is quicker to assemble, and is more robust. The finishing of the sofa is also quicker and easier than conventional sofas.

The set of characteristics may be compared to a user's preferred configuration settings or previously-played media items. Based on the comparison, the set of characteristics may be altered to be consistent with the preferred configuration settings (e.g., a modified set of characteristics may be estimated). The modified media items may then be played under known playback settings. In aspects, the media item under consideration may be played as is using an estimated playback configuration to enable a user-preferable playback experience.
