Abstract: In one aspect, bridge circuitry includes a first magnetoresistance (MR) element; a second MR element connected in series with the first MR element at a first node; a third MR element; a fourth MR element connected in series with the third MR element at a second node; a first switch connected at one end to a supply voltage and connected at the other end to the third MR element; a second switch connected at one end to ground and connected at the other end to the fourth MR element; a third switch connected at one end to ground and connected at the other end to the third MR element and the first switch; and a fourth switch connected at one end to the supply voltage and the other end to the fourth MR element and the second switch. The first and second MR elements are in parallel with the third and fourth MR elements.
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to identifying and adjusting speed plans for controlling a vehicle in an autonomous driving mode. In one example, an initial speed plan for controlling speed of the vehicle for a first predetermined period of time corresponding to an amount of time along a route of the vehicle is identified. Data identifying an object and characteristics of that object is received from a perception system of the vehicle. A trajectory for the object that will intersect with the route at an intersection point at particular point in time is predicted using the data. A set of constraints is generated based on at least the trajectory. The speed plan is adjusted in order to satisfy the set of constraints for a second predetermined period of time corresponding to the amount of time. The vehicle is maneuvered in the autonomous driving mode according to the adjusted speed plan.
Abstract: An addressable vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) array may generate structured light in dot patterns. The VCSEL array includes a plurality of traces that control different groups of VCSELs, such that each group of VCSELs may be individually controlled. The VCSEL groups are arranged such that they emit a dot pattern, and by modulating which groups of VCSELs are active a density of the dot pattern may be adjusted. The VCSEL array may be part of a depth projector that projects the dot pattern into a local area. A projection assembly may replicate the dot pattern in multiple tiles.
Abstract: Systems for intelligent sorting of time series data for improved contextual messaging are included herein. An intelligent sorting server may receive time series data comprising a plurality of chat messages. The intelligent sorting server may determine a first order of the plurality of chat messages based on a chronologic order. The intelligent sorting server may use one or more machine learning classifiers to identify candidates for reordering the chat messages. The intelligent sorting server may generate a second order of the chat messages based on the identified candidates for reordering. Accordingly, the intelligent sorting server may present, to a client device, a transcript of the chat messages associated with the second order and an indication that at least one chat message has been repositioned.
Abstract: Determining slot value(s) based on received natural language input and based on descriptor(s) for the slot(s). In some implementations, natural language input is received as part of human-to-automated assistant dialog. A natural language input embedding is generated based on token(s) of the natural language input. Further, descriptor embedding(s) are generated (or received), where each of the descriptor embeddings is generated based on descriptor(s) for a corresponding slot that is assigned to a domain indicated by the dialog. The natural language input embedding and the descriptor embedding(s) are applied to layer(s) of a neural network model to determine, for each of the slot(s), which token(s) of the natural language input correspond to the slot. A command is generated that includes slot value(s) for slot(s), where the slot value(s) for one or more of slot(s) are determined based on the token(s) determined to correspond to the slot(s).

Abstract: A control system for operating a military vehicle according to different modes includes processing circuitry that receives a user input indicating a selected mode of the different modes, and operates a driveline and a front end accessory drive (FEAD) of the military vehicle according to the selected mode. The driveline of the military vehicle includes an engine and an integrated motor generator (IMG) and the FEAD includes multiple accessories and an electric motor-generator. The modes include an engine mode and an electric mode. In the engine mode, the engine drives the FEAD and drives tractive elements of the military vehicle through the IMG for transportation. In the electric mode, the engine is shut off to reduce a sound output of the military vehicle and the IMG drives the tractive elements of the military vehicle for transportation and the electric motor-generator drives the FEAD.

Abstract: An alert management and real-time remediation system is disclosed. The system may receive, from an institution, an electronic file that includes an exception information (EI) data structure comprising exception information representing events and customers associated with the events, and a contact information data structure comprising an electronic address for each customer. The system may automatically parse the EI into events associated with the customers, and for each customer, send an event notification message (EN) to the electronic address of the customer, wherein the event notification message includes a link to an authentication interface of the institution associated with the customer.

Abstract: A method for forming fins includes forming a three-color hardmask fin pattern on a fin base layer. The three-color hardmask fin pattern includes hardmask fins of three mutually selectively etchable compositions. Some of the fins of the first color are etched away with a selective etch that does not remove fins of a second color or a third color and that leaves at least one fin of the first color behind. The fins of the second color are etched away. Fins are etched into the fin base layer by anisotropically etching around remaining fins of the first color and fins of the third color.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing an estimate of uniformity of wall thickness of a centrifugally cast object, such as a pipe cast from molten iron, substantially immediately after the casting process is complete. The volume of molten metal entering the mold over time is determined and correlated with casting machine position and velocity data to estimate wall thickness along the length of the pipe. Process defects can then be identified promptly and corrective action taken.

Abstract: Systems include one or more critical datacenter connected to behind-the-meter flexible datacenters. The critical datacenter is powered by grid power and not necessarily collocated with the flexboxes, which are powered “behind the meter.” When a computational operation to be performed at the critical datacenter is identified and determined that it can be performed at a lower cost at a flexible datacenter, the computational operation is instead routed to the flexible datacenters for performance. The critical datacenter and flexible datacenters preferably shared a dedicated communication pathway to enable high-bandwidth, low-latency, secure data transmissions.
