Abstract: Various methods and apparatus relating to estimating and mitigating a stress level of a user are disclosed herein. Methods can include collecting potential stress indicator data from the user interacting with a computing device. The potential stress indicator data can include one or more of environmental data and contextual data associated with the user. Methods can include estimating the stress level of the user based on the potential stress indicator data. Methods can include performing an evaluation of whether to mitigate the stress level of the user via one or more stress mitigation interventions. Methods can include presenting the one or more stress mitigation interventions to the user via a graphical user interface (GUI) when the evaluation indicates that the stress level should be mitigated.

Abstract: Model pruning is used to trim large neural networks, like convolutional neural networks (CNNs), to reduce computation overheads. Existing model pruning methods mainly rely on heuristics rules or local relationships of CNN layers. A novel hypernetwork based on graph neural network is disclosed for generating and evaluating pruned networks. A graph is first constructed according to information flow of channels and layers in a CNN network, with channels and layers represented as nodes and information flows represented as edges. A graph neural network is applied to aggregate both local and global dependencies across all channels and layers of the CNN network, resulting in informative node embeddings. With such embeddings, pruned CNN networks including their architectures and weights may be effectively generated and evaluated.

Abstract: Described herein is a simplified placement system and method for a tissue graft anchor by which a surgeon may introduce one or more sutures into a hole in a boney tissue, apply a precise amount of tension to the sutures to advance a soft tissue graft to a desired location, and then advance the anchor into the bone, preferably while maintaining the requisite pre-determined suture tension and without introducing spin to the suture. Particularly preferred embodiments allow for the one-handed operation, namely embodiments in which relative axial movement between the inner tensioning device and outer driver device is optionally physically constrained, for example by means of cooperating and/or compressive elements disposed in the respective hub and handle portions, are described herein. Other preferred embodiments of the present invention relate to multi-anchor constructs that may employ threaded implants exclusively, push-in implants exclusively, or a combination of threaded and push-in implants.

Abstract: The invention provides the use of a formulation containing cyclodextrine, quercetin and zinc, at appropriate concentrations to mitigate infections by enveloped viruses like SARS-CoV-2, influenza and HIV/AIDS, when administered via pulmonary and dermal route. While the different forms of cyclodextrin prevent the entry of coated virus into host cells by extracting and sequestering cholesterol molecules at the virus coat and at the host cell plasma membrane, the natural plant-based ionophore quercetin in the formulation, enables cellular entry of zinc, inhibiting viral replication by altering polymerase activity in the host cell. Hence cyclodextrine, and quercetin plus zinc, either in combination or in tandem order of administration, serves both as prophylactic and therapeutic.

Abstract: Collaborative perception is based on recognition that a fleet of AVs and stationary infrastructure objects equipped with sensors may be configured to communicate with one another in sharing their sensor data, thus benefiting from collaborative perception, rather than being limited to their individual perception. Three specific scenarios of collaborative perception are disclosed. The first scenario relates to two AVs in the vicinity of one another exchanging complexity scores indicative of their respective environments. The second scenario relates to an AV detecting that it has a blind spot and seeking other AVs or infrastructure objects to provide information indicative of the environment in the blind spot. The third scenario relates to providing infrastructure objects equipped with sensors in appropriate locations so that, when an AV is in the vicinity of such objects, the AV may receive information from their sensors.
