Abstract: A system and process for coordinating streaming content or messages is provided. A network-connected server maintains a database containing media content-related data, such as the text of a message, accompanying media, time of airing, payment and related comments. A user can view these feeds or streams of these consciousness messages by downloading a mobile application or browsing to a website. The application can also be used to create, schedule and pay for a media content message.
Abstract: A patient-specific guide tool for guiding an object toward a glenoid face of a scapula of a patient for implantation of a shoulder prosthetic device is disclosed. The guide tool includes a guide portion that includes a guide surface. The guide surface is configured to guide movement of the object toward the glenoid face. Furthermore, the guide tool includes a patient-specific portion that is operably coupled to the glenoid portion. The patient-specific portion includes at least one patient-specific surface that is three-dimensionally contoured and that is configured to nest and closely conform to a corresponding surface of the scapula to thereby position the guide surface at a predetermined position relative to the glenoid face.

Abstract: A method and apparatus to treat hyperhidrosis is provided in which a battery provides a milliampere electrical current to the inside of a waterproof glove containing water and sealed to the user's arm so that circulation is not unduly restricted while the user can raise the water-filled gloves and hands above the user's head without leaking. A tapered portion on the proximal end of each glove is folded inside the glove to seal against the user's arm to form a pocket between the tapered portion which seals against the user's arms, and part of a wrist portion of the glove located radially outward of the tapered portion. When the user's gloves and hands rotate upward, water collects in the pocket(s) while the tapered portion provides a leakproof seal, thus allowing manual manipulation while wearing the water-filled gloves.
Abstract: Various embodiments of a trash can assembly (e.g., a receptacle configured to receive refuse, recyclable materials, or otherwise), and related methods, are provided. Some embodiments of the trash can assembly include a body component and a lid configured to move between an open position and a closed position. In some variants, the lid can be moved between the open and closed positions by a power operated driving mechanism, such as a motor and/or other drivetrain components. In certain embodiments, the trash can assembly includes a clutch mechanism to facilitate manual operation of the lid while inhibiting or preventing damage to the motor and/or other drivetrain components.

Abstract: The subject matter discussed herein relates to systems and methods for generating a clinical outcome based on creating a task-specific model associated with processing raw image(s). In one such example, input raw data is acquired using an imaging system, a selection input corresponding to a clinical task is received, and a task-specific model corresponding to the clinical task is retrieved. Using the task-specific model, the raw data is mapped onto an application specific manifold. Based on the mapping of the raw data onto the application specific manifold the clinical outcome is generated, and subsequently providing the clinical outcome for review.
Abstract: A slip ring assembly includes a housing having a stator that rotatably supports a rotor. The rotor includes conductive disks that are electrically connected to respective conductors extending through a rotor shaft. The stator includes brushes that slidably and electrically engage the conductive disks. The one or more brushes are electrically connected to stator conductors extending at least partially through the stator. Electrical pathways are defined and extend from the stator conductors, the brushes, the conductive disks, and the respective conductors in the shaft. A smart board is connected to the stator and includes electronic components configured to monitor operation of the slip ring assembly and provide signals to an external source. The smart board is electrically connected to, and powered by, electrical power that is present and available on the stator conductors.

The base rail includes a base segment configured to be disposed on a curb in an installed configuration of the HVAC system, an external wall extending from the base segment, a top segment extending from the external wall, an internal wall extending from the top segment, and a recessed flange extending from the internal wall and away from the external wall.
Abstract: Systems and methods for generating graded lattice structures that can be used as infill for additively manufactured articles. Tailored sectioning and field-based smoothing are modified polygon, e.g., circle, packing algorithms that adjust the size of the circles based on physical field data to adapt the infill generation process to a field expected to be experienced by the article. Molecular dynamically generated lattice infill is based on force balancing a node distribution instead of a circle packing. Field data can be utilized to adjust the spacing of the node distribution according to a force balance equilibrium model that accounts for the field expected to be experienced by the article being additively manufactured. The resultant non-uniform honeycomb structures from tailored sectioning, field-based smoothing, and force-balancing robustly and efficiently address the connection issues with traditional non-uniform lattice structures.
