Abstract: Disclosed herein are battery docks for receiving a battery, and methods for switching off an electrical load to a battery or to the battery dock to prevent overheating. A battery dock may comprise a battery connection contact to attach to a battery, and a circuit sensor electrically coupled to the battery connection contact for sensing the temperature of the battery dock and at the battery connection contact. The circuit sensor can be configured to switch off an electrical load or charging current once a threshold temperature has been reached to prevent overheating. In operation, the temperature of the battery dock, such as at the battery connection contact, may be sensed or monitored and electrical current may be prevented from passing to/from the battery by switching off the battery dock if the sensed temperature exceeds a predetermined threshold temperature.

The computing device is configured to receive condition state training data and generate a condition state model utilizing a first machine-learning algorithm. The computing device is configured to calculate a condition state label using the condition state model. The computing device is configured to select a treatment model utilizing the condition state label. The computing device is configured to generate a treatment model and output a plurality of treatments utilizing the treatment model.

Abstract: A folding corner assembly for rapid and efficient installation of a fence post with support, especially for a corner assembly or endpoint. A brace is pivotally mounted between a first post sleeve and a second post sleeve. The first post sleeve and second post sleeve fold to a position approximately parallel with the brace in a storage configuration and unfold to a deployed configuration. An angle support pivotally mounted between a post extending from the first post sleeve and the second post sleeve is extendable by means of a slip joint. A stretch mechanism extends upwardly from the brace and slides along the brace. A tensioner mounted between the first post and the stretch mechanism maintains the stretch position of the stretch mechanism relative to the end post. A plurality of markings longitudinally spaced apart on the brace indicate a stretch specification.

Abstract: A health status recording and reporting system includes a digital framework that includes a pattern recognition module configured to record and report a health status of a user. The framework includes a digitally recorded library of self-reported human emotions, unconscious agendas and disease conditions of a control group of users selected from a population of users, a digitally recorded set of rules, and a digitally recorded user profile of the user. The system also includes sensors communicably connected to the framework and to the user during a question-answer session with a therapist. The framework is configured to integrate inputs from the library, the rules, the user profile, and sensors, validate an accuracy of the user's response to the plurality of questions posed by the therapist, map and predict a disease condition, and display and report the predicted disease condition of the user on a visible report or a printable report.

Abstract: A metal stack of layers contacting an N-type layer of a light emitting diode (LED) device comprises: an ohmic contact layer electrically contacting the N-type layer and having a work function value that is less than or equal to a work function value of the N-type layer; a reflective layer electrically contacting the ohmic contact layer; a first material barrier layer electrically contacting the reflective layer; a current carrying layer electrically contacting the first material barrier layer; and a second material barrier layer electrically contacting the current carrying layer. LED devices incorporate the metal stack of layer as a bonding material and/or as an ohmic contact-reflective material. Methods of making and using the metal stacks and LED devices are also provided.

Abstract: A communication system for performing DRX-aware channel resource allocation is described. The communication system includes a plurality of radio points (RPs), each configured to exchange radio frequency (RF) signals with a plurality of user equipment (UEs) at a site. The communication system also includes a baseband controller communicatively coupled to the plurality of radio points. The baseband controller is configured to reallocate a second UE's channel resource in a first UE's DRX subcycle, for RPs in a first UE's combining zone vector (CZV), from a second UE to a first UE, wherein the first UE's CZV matches the second UE's CZV.

Abstract: A round trip container includes a container body having a receiving cavity and an opening. A proximal end of a closure flap is operably coupled with the container body and the closure flap is configured to extend over the opening. A first adhesive receiving area is located on one of the closure flap and the container body and receives adhesive to adhere the closure flap to the container body when the container is placed in a closed “outbound” configuration. An adhesive portion is located on one of the closure flap and the container body. A removable covering is placed over the second adhesive portion. After the package has been received and opened, and any desired contents inserted into the receiving cavity, the covering can be removed and the second adhesive adheres the closure flap to the container body placing the container in a closed “return” configuration.

Abstract: A Retrofittable Air Suspension Brackets assembly comprises an air spring retained between an Upper Air Spring Mount and a Lower Air Spring Bracket. The Upper Air Spring Mount is attached to Upper Frame Brackets that are held in place by two U-Bolts, which also secure the Lower Air Spring Bracket and a Cradle Structure which limits movement of the vehicle frame member.

Abstract: A primary air suspension system with the reliability of a secondary air suspension system by guaranteeing a minimum pressure in the air spring through a simple mechanical residual pressure valve. The residual pressure valve is set to the air spring pressure required to hold the rear of the unloaded pickup truck at the designed ride height if any of the components (compressor, tank, valves, air lines, Schrader valve, or electronic controller) failure.

Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a wheelchair power assist device configured to be installed, uninstalled and exchanged using an exchange tab welded to a wheelchair, and when installed to switch a motorized friction roller between engaged and disengaged modes with a wheelchair wheel, based on an engagement actuator configured to move the friction roller relative to the wheelchair. The friction roller may be operably coupled with an engagement member configured to move relative to the wheelchair. The engagement member may be moved by an extendable and retractable actuator shaft coupled with the wheelchair. A manual wheelchair may be converted to a powered wheelchair using a motorized friction roller for each wheelchair wheel while leaving an open space behind the wheelchair seating area, advantageously permitting the power assist devices to remain attached to a foldable wheelchair in either folded or unfolded configurations.

An insecure device is a computing device that either does not have the ability to or can no longer communicate at desired security levels. The secure translator is configured to act as a proxy for insecure devices, allowing for full translation of any inbound communication to be secured, with information scrubbed or otherwise manipulated, then translated over a direct connection to the insecure device.

Abstract: This document describes an image-capturing doorbell device. In aspects, the image-capturing doorbell device provides a compact, space-efficient, battery-powered, doorbell camera. The architecture of the image-capturing doorbell device is optimized by concentrating sensors at one end of the device and user input mechanism(s) at the opposing end of the device and including a thin and narrow middle portion between the two opposing ends. The sensors include an image sensor and a PIR sensor mounted to the same PCB for space conservation. A camera lens protrudes from an outer surface of an IR window aligned with IR LEDs to mitigate IR flare. The PIR sensor is aligned with a lens that enhances radial motion detection by implementing two stacked rows of lenslets. The user input mechanism includes a light ring formed via a two-shot molding technique with a button to bond the light ring to the button for enhanced waterproofing.
