Abstract: Disclosed are processes, apparatuses, and systems for Direct Air Carbon Capture utilizing waste heat from gas turbines and exhaust air from air cooled heat exchangers, such as in industrial facilities with sources of heat and using fans. The exhaust air from the air cooled heat exchangers may be used to drive one or more fans in one or more Direct Air Carbon Capture units. The waste heat—thus no electricity needed—may be used to regenerate the catalyst(s) in the Direct Air Carbon Capture units.

Abstract: A transcription of audio speech included in electronic content associated with a meeting is created by an ASR model trained on speech-to-text data. The transcription is post-processed by modifying text included in the transcription, for example, by modifying punctuation, grammar, or formatting introduced by the ASR model and by changing or omitting one or more words that were included in both the audio speech and the transcription. After the transcription is post-processed, output based on the post-processed transcription is generated in the form of a meeting summary and/or template.

Abstract: A deagglomerator for use in resizing masses of cells is disclosed. The deagglomerator may include a plurality of apertures defined by a plurality of front and back edges. The masses of cells may be passed through the plurality of apertures from the front to the back, and from the back to the front, repeatedly. The deagglomerator may also include a plurality of blades that may aid in the deagglomeration of the cell masses. The deagglomerator may be configured between two syringes so that the tissue may be passed back and forth from the first syringe through the device to the second syringe, and then back again from the second syringe through the device and to the first syringe. In this way, the masses of cells may be properly deagglomerated.
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to tracking user engagement with an interface. In one aspect, interaction of a user with a user interface can be detected and, in response to such interaction, it can be determined if the user interface was updated. In a scenario in which it is determined that the user interface was updated, an impression metric indicative of engagement of the user with the user interface can be updated. The updated metric can permit the tracking of user engagement.
Abstract: A hardware system enables computer network interaction between network identity services and account-based service applications. In some examples, the network identity service biometrically identifies people. The network identity services and/or account-based service applications interact to exchange data in order to monitor, track, initiate, and/or cooperatively and/or individually perform various functions while protecting data that should not be shared and minimizing communication network usage and hardware and software resources. This interaction enables both to accomplish more and different tasks than they could individually while improving operational efficiency of hardware and software components of both.
Abstract: A method of validating the contents of an electronic file. The method comprises requesting an electronic file by an application executing on a computer system by providing a multi-segment filename, wherein the multi-segment filename comprises a unique delimiter between each of the segments of the multi-segment filename and one of the segments of the multi-segment filename is a hash of a content of the electronic file referenced by the multi-segment filename, receiving by the application the electronic file referenced by the multi-segment filename, determining a hash over the content of the electronic file by the application, comparing by the application the hash determined by the application to the hash of the content stored in the one of the segments of the multi-segment filename, and, based on the two hashes agreeing, opening by the application the contents of the electronic file for use.
Abstract: Aspects of present disclosure include devices within a transmission path of streamed content forwarding received data packets of the stream to the next device or “hop” in the path prior to buffering the data packet at the device. In this method, typical buffering of the data stream may therefore occur at the destination device for presentation at a consuming device, while the devices along the transmission path may transmit a received packet before buffering. Further, devices along the path may also buffer the content stream after forwarding to fill subsequent requests for dropped data packets of the content stream. Also, in response to receiving the request for the content stream, a device may first transmit a portion of the contents of the gateway buffer to the requesting device to fill a respective buffer at the receiving device.
Abstract: A system and method for the preparation of electronic publications or “ePubs” that provide a rich multimedia experience to readers using any of a variety of user devices, without requiring those individuals wishing to prepare such ePubs to install proprietary client applications on the computing device used to prepare the ePubs, and without the need to download a large portion or all of the ePub to enable viewing on an electronic device of an end-user.
Abstract: A lensed display system includes a projector configured to project an image. The lensed display system includes a lens formed of a glass or crystalline material. The lens includes a first surface, wherein at least a portion of the first surface includes a coating that is configured to display the projected image. The lens includes a second surface, wherein the second surface comprises a transparent curved surface that is configured to face toward a user and to enable the user to view the image projected onto the coating through the transparent curved surface.

Abstract: Obtaining location metadata for network devices using augmented reality (AR) is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, an AR computing device receives first user inputs indicating boundary points of a device region, and determines first spatial coordinates for each boundary point. The AR computing device next receives a second user input that indicates a network device within the device region, and determines second spatial coordinates for the network device. The AR computing device may also correlate the network device with a known connected network device. The AR computing device then transmits, to a server computing device, first metadata that includes the first spatial coordinates and an identifier of the device region, and second metadata that includes the second spatial coordinates and an identifier of the indicated network device. In some embodiments, the metadata may be employed, e.g., to generate a floorplan visualization and/or a signal strength map of the device region.

Abstract: A system and method for capturing and sharing console gaming data is described. Embodiments capture gameplay data directly at the gaming console, without the need for external hardware. This allows users to easily capture rich console gaming experiences and share them across a variety of outlets. In one embodiment, the methods described herein can be implemented with a patch or driver on the operating system of the user device, rendering it unnecessary to heavily modify the source code of the game.
Abstract: A hydrophone may include a first piezoelectric cable including alternating sections of positive polarity and negative polarity, and a second piezoelectric cable including alternating sections of negative polarity and positive polarity. At least a portion of each section of positive polarity of the first piezoelectric cable may be bonded or adhered to at least a portion of a section of negative polarity of the second piezoelectric cable. A method of manufacturing a hydrophone may include winding or coiling a first piezoelectric cable and a second piezoelectric cable at the same time to create a series of wound sections including cables, the wound sections alternating with a series of not wound sections including the cables.
Abstract: A welder for joining two polymeric sheets together using a wedged heating element allows for a heating profile on opposite faces of the heating element to be varied by controlling where each of the polymeric sheets contacts the corresponding face.
Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of providing illumination in a manner that is energy efficient and intelligent. In particular, the present invention uses distributed processing across a network of illuminators to control the illumination for a given environment. The network controls the illumination level and pattern in response to light, sound, and motion. The network may also be trained according to uploaded software behavior modules, and subsets of the network may be organized into groups for illumination control and maintenance reporting.
