Abstract: The invention relates to an in silico screening method to identify candidate excipients for reducing aggregation of a protein in a formulation. The method combines computational molecular modeling and molecular dynamics simulations to identify sites on a protein where non-specific self-interaction and interaction of different test excipients may occur, determine the relative binding energies of such interactions, and select one or more test excipients that meet specified interaction criteria for use as candidate excipients in empirical screening studies.

Abstract: Approaches to robust encoding and decoding of escape-coded pixels in a palette mode are described. For example, sample values of escape-coded pixels in palette mode are encoded/decoded using a binarization process that depends on a constant value of quantization parameter (“QP”) for the sample values. Or, as another example, sample values of escape-coded pixels in palette mode are encoded/decoded using a binarization process that depends on sample depth for the sample values. Or, as still another example, sample values of escape-coded pixels in palette mode are encoded/decoding using a binarization process that depends on some other fixed rule. In example implementations, these approaches avoid dependencies on unit-level QP values when parsing the sample values of escape-coded pixels, which can make encoding/decoding more robust to data loss.

Abstract: The system and method for actuator monitoring of an electric aircraft is illustrated. The system includes a plurality of flight components, a computing device attached to each rotor component, and a flight controller. The plurality of flight components are coupled to the electric aircraft. A computing device is communicatively coupled to each rotor component and is configured to detect an input health datum associated with each rotor component of the plurality of flight components and transmit the input health datum to a flight controller. The flight controller is communicatively connected to the computing devices and is configured to receive the health datum from the computing devices, generate an updated health datum as a function of the input health datum, and transmit the updated health datum to each rotor component of the plurality of flight components.

Abstract: A system for mitigating thermal runaway in a battery-powered electric vehicle (EV). The system includes a gas sensor configured to measure a level of at least one type of gas in a vicinity of a battery of the EV, a thermal event detector configured to determine, based on the measured level of the at least one type of gas, that the battery is experiencing out-gassing, and a communications interface configured to transmit an alert to a fleet management system regarding the out-gassing of the battery. The fleet management system alters an assignment of the EV in response to the out-gassing of the battery.

Abstract: A system and method for transmitting data using an autonomous vehicle's LIDAR system. The autonomous vehicle may transmit the data by disengaging the LIDAR system's transmitters and receivers from operating to detect external objects. The autonomous vehicle may also rotate the LIDAR system to locate one of a plurality of receivers external to the autonomous vehicle. Data stored within the autonomous vehicle may then be transmitted to an external system using a light-based communication path established between at least one of the LIDAR system's transmitters and an external receiver. The LIDAR system's transmitters and receivers may then be re-engaged so as to be operable to detect external objects.

Abstract: The present invention relates to injectable pharmaceutical compositions comprising therapeutically effective amount of succinylcholine chloride, one or more pharmaceutically acceptable aqueous solvents, and one or more stabilizing agents selected from aliphatic polyols; lower alkyl alcohols; amino acids having at least one additional amino, carboxyl or hydroxyl group; amino alcohols; and aliphatic dicarboxylic acids having at least one hydroxyl or amino group, or ?-? unsaturation. The compositions are stable at room temperature for at least 30 days. Methods of manufacturing the injectable pharmaceutical compositions are also provided. The method also includes processing the input audio to generate a transcription of the utterances and a sequence of speaker turn tokens each indicating a location of a respective speaker turn. The method also includes segmenting the input audio signal into a plurality of speaker segments based on the sequence of speaker tokens. The method also includes extracting a speaker-discriminative embedding from each speaker segment and performing spectral clustering on the speaker-discriminative embeddings to cluster the plurality of speaker segments into k classes. The method also includes assigning a respective speaker label to each speaker segment clustered into the respective class that is different than the respective speaker label assigned to the speaker segments clustered into each other class of the k classes.
