Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for sorted parallel processing of large dataset to provide quicker search results to a user. An embodiment operates by receiving a search request containing a first attribute from a user, determining an intermediate result set of items in a database based on the search request, and sorting the items based on a second attribute of the items. The embodiment further operates by dividing the sorted items into a plurality of batches with sequential IDs, determining a result corresponding to the first attribute for each item in parallel, creating a sequentially-ordered list of determined results, identifying a subset of determined results based on a comparison between the determined results and a target result, determining a final result set of items, and returning at least a portion of the final result set of items to the user.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, a pack for tobacco articles comprises an inner sleeve, and an outer box comprising front and back covers that allow access to the inner sleeve when the outer box is opened. The inner sleeve can include a front connecting panel pivotally connecting a front wall of the inner sleeve to an inner surface of the front cover and a back connecting panel pivotally connecting a back wall of the inner sleeve to an inner surface of the back cover. A slot in the outer box is configured to allow opening of the outer box by applying pressure against a bottom wall of the inner sleeve.

Abstract: A system comprises a computer having a processor and a memory, the memory storing instructions executable by the processor to transmit a vehicle localization signal from a first vehicle, receive vehicle localization data for the first vehicle, the vehicle localization data generated based on receipt of the vehicle localization signal by a plurality of localization receivers of a vehicle movement space, determine, based on the vehicle localization data for the first vehicle, a position of the first vehicle in the vehicle movement space, determine a position of a second vehicle in the vehicle movement space relative to the position of the first vehicle, and command a first movement by the first vehicle based on the position of the first vehicle and the position of the second vehicle relative to the position of the first vehicle.

The method may include parsing at least one obtained media presentation segment (MPD), and obtain a live MPD based on the at least one URL, the live MPD comprising one or more live media segments. The method may include appending the one or more ad media segments to a first MSE source buffer based on a first timing model and chaining the one or more live media segments to the one or more ad media segments by appending the one or more live media segments to the first buffer based on a second timing model. The one or more ad media segments may be dispatched and the one or more live media segments based on the first timing model and the second timing model.

Abstract: Distributed wearable and non-wearable devices, controllers and methods for processing information from a plurality of devices are provided. A distributed system includes a plurality of devices distributed in an environment. Each device has at least a communication capability for interchanging information with others of the devices and/or with a communication system. Each of at least some of the devices has one or more sensors for acquiring sensor data related to the environment proximate to the device. At least one of the communication system or one or more of the devices is configured as a controller configured to: select a subset of devices from among the plurality of devices, receive information based on the acquired sensor data of the selected subset, and combine the received information from the selected subset to determine a characteristic of the environment proximate to one or more of the devices.

Abstract: A system and method to detect and quantify integration errors in a transit time ultrasonic flow meter uses dissimilar integration methods or schemes employed simultaneously. In a preferred embodiment, a number of chordal paths are arranged in a single meter body such that at least two dissimilar chordal integration schemes can be used to determine the flow rate. At least one of the chordal paths is common to both integration schemes. The total number of chordal paths needed in any chordal measurement plane is less than the sum of the chordal paths used in each of the integration schemes (as is the sum of the planes), thereby reducing hardware requirements.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a method and system to recover some or all of the data missing in types of gaps that occur in data streams received via telemetry. The gaps can be filled in real time to enhance operator understanding of current operations. For gaps created by special sequences sent via telemetry during a time interval that telemetry would be sending measurement blocks (MB) of data, the gaps can be filled using special MBs combined with MBs for a next time interval to create combined MBs, sent via telemetry, and extracted to backfill the gaps. For gaps caused by corrupted data, the gaps can be filled with data from overlapping MBs having overlapping data based on overlapping time intervals. For gaps caused by gap events, including different drilling rates of penetration, event MBs with sampling rates different than a predetermined sampling rate can be sent via telemetry.

Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for providing for improved monitoring of an individual, wherein imaging data is received from a plurality of imaging sensors. The received imaging data is aggregated and patterns at targeted data segments of the aggregated imaging data are analyzed using one or more algorithms to determine one or more values. The one or more values determined from the analyzed patterns are classified to represent at least one of a physiological state determination or a positioning of the individual. Data corresponding to the classified one or more values is then output and displayed.

Abstract: A system for virtual management of livestock includes a server computer, a primary collar, and a plurality of secondary collars. The server computer receives virtual boundary data, as a user input, which establishes a virtual boundary. The primary collar is worn by and associated with a primary livestock animal and communicates with the server computer via a remote wireless gateway. The plurality of secondary collars communicate wirelessly with one another and with the primary collar via an ad hoc wireless mesh network. Each of the secondary collars is worn by and associated with an individual secondary livestock animal of a plurality of secondary livestock animals. The primary collar receives the virtual boundary data from the server computer, transmits it to the plurality of secondary collars via the wireless mesh network, and provides directional stimulation to the primary livestock animal to encourage it to refrain from crossing the virtual boundary.

Abstract: Methods and systems for using a generative adversarial network to generate personalized content in real-time as a user accesses original content. The methods and systems perform the generation through the use of an application programming interface (“API”) layer. Using the API layer, the methods and systems may generate alternative content as a user accesses original content (e.g., a website, video, document, etc.). Upon receiving this original content, the API layer access the generative adversarial network to create personalized alternative content.

Abstract: To identify the sweet spot for criteria attributes (i.e., variables) within a complex system, a data source having objectively acceptable values or ranges of values for the criteria attributes for each variant of the system is generated. The identification system used to analyze the complex system to identify the sweet spot receives measurement values from a testing system that measures values of the criteria attributes from variants of the complex system and provides the measurement values to the identification system. The criteria attributes may be prioritized for determination of the sweet spot, including a selection of a value or range of values that are to be used for the most highly prioritized criteria attribute. The prioritized criteria attributes and objectively acceptable values can be used to filter the measurement values to identify the sweet spot for the variants of the complex system.

A part formed from the cast iron alloy is also provided and the part has an Ac1 temperature equal to or greater than 895° C. and a thermo-mechanical fatigue lifetime of at least 10,000.00 cycles when cycled between 400° C. to 800° C. with a total cyclic strain equal to 0.001 m/m.
