Base portion includes bottom panel defining bottom of compartment, front base panel defining front of compartment and extending upwardly from bottom panel. Base portion further includes back panel extending from bottom panel to define a back of compartment, and first and second side tabs extending between bottom panel, front base panel, and back panel at opposing sides thereof to define opposing sides of compartment. Container further includes lid portion including a top panel and a front lid panel. The top panel includes an opening and an access flap moveable between an opening position and a closed position defining the opening. The access flap includes a back edge, a front edge, opposing side edges, and a first and second front protrusions, respectively. Blanks for forming such a container and methods for disposing a web material are also disclosed.

Abstract: The disclosure is generally directed to systems and methods for receiving proximity characteristics at a nomadic device, the proximity characteristics including mapped obstruction data identifying locations of one or more obstructions of an area surrounding a vehicle; calculating at last one unobstructed pose orientations for establishing a secure connection between the nomadic device and the vehicle based on the proximity characteristics, the unobstructed pose orientation determined at least in part on the mapped obstruction data; and displaying the unobstructed pose orientation on the nomadic device within an array of augmented reality pose orientations on the nomadic device. In some embodiments, the systems and methods include displaying an interactive overlay as a direction to a user of the nomadic device, the interactive overlay coaching the user to locate to the at least one unobstructive pose orientation.

Abstract: A battery connection module and a battery pack are provided. The battery connection module includes a plurality of connecting busbars which are assembled on a tray. Each connecting busbar has a plurality of components, each component has a main body portion, a head portion which extends from a first end of the main body portion and a foot portion which extends from a second end of the main body portion, the head portion is connected to a positive electrode of a corresponding battery cell, the foot portion is connected to a negative electrode of a corresponding battery cell, the main body portions of the components of the connecting busbar are connected by a connecting portion. In each connecting busbar, at least one component connects two battery cells of adjacent columns, at least one component connects two battery cells of every other column, at least one component connects two battery cells in the same row, and at least one component connects two battery cells of adjacent rows.

Abstract: A system and methods for providing interactive content to an audience is disclosed. In aspects, system implements methods to receive sensor data captured by one or more sensors affixed to a performer. A graphical visualization is rendered based on the sensor data. The graphical visualization is transmitted to one or more external devices associated with one or more members of the audience for incorporation into a application executing on the one or more external devices.

Abstract: Planting corn in one or more consecutive growing seasons in the same fields causes a yield reduction (“corn-on-corn yield penalty”). We developed methods and inoculants comprising Penicillium bilaii, to reduce corn-on-corn yield penalty. The disclosure covers the inoculants and methods for reducing corn-on-corn yield penalty.

Abstract: Embodiments include systems, methods, articles of manufacture, and computer-readable media configured process data in a structured format and an unstructured format and applying one or more algorithms to detect elements and links between the elements in the data. Embodiments are further configured to generate a graph model comprising nodes comprising the elements and edges comprising the links.

Abstract: A light emitting diode (LED) lamp, vehicle headlight system and vehicle headlight that are adapted for use with an electrical system of a vehicle that was designed for a conventional lamp-based headlight. To adapt to the electrical system designed a conventional lamp-based headlight, a correcting circuit is utilized that allows for LEDs to be powered irrespective of a polarity of a power signal provided by the vehicle.

Abstract: A fairing assembly 10 installed about a heat exchanger, such as a radiator R, to reduce the drag on the vehicle, comprising: a frame installed about the heat exchanger, the frame having a curved contour; a panel mounted in the frame, the panel and fairing assembly defining an air passage for air flow to the heat exchanger; a cover installed in the frame and movable to control air flow through the passage to the heat exchanger; and, moving means for moving the cover over the frame to expose a portion of the opening and allow air to flow into the heat exchanger, the frame and cover thereby reducing the amount of drag on the vehicle while still allowing air flow into the heat exchanger; wherein the panel comprises a first overlapping part and a second overlapping part; and wherein the first overlapping part is moveable from an extended position to a retracted position when the fairing is impacted.

Abstract: Disclosed are a high-capacity battery manufacturing method and a high-capacity battery, which mainly solve the problems of poor consistency, unstable performance and poor overall working performance of existing high-capacity lithium batteries. The method comprises: assembling coiled or laminated units that make up high-capacity battery cells into battery cells individually, carrying out formation and capacity grading of the battery cells, grouping the battery cells according to one or more of their capacity, internal resistance, voltage and self-discharge, connecting the battery cells in the same group in shunt, loading the battery cells in the same group into a high-capacity battery pack, and then carrying out secondary electrolyte injection, sealing, aging and capacity grading of the high-capacity battery pack. According to the present application, battery cell formation and capacity grading are carried out after primary electrolyte injection.

Abstract: Disclosed are compositions comprising HCFC-244bb and/or HFO-1234yf and at least one additional compound. Compositions comprising HCFC-244bb are useful in processes to make HFO-1234yf. Compositions comprising HFO-1234yf are useful, among other uses, as heat transfer compositions for use in refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump systems.

Abstract: A locking assembly for a three-point hitch quick coupler includes a locking plate configured to be movably coupled to a main support of the three-point hitch quick coupler. The locking plate is configured to block removal of a lower hitch pin from a lower hook of the three-point hitch quick coupler while the locking plate is in a closed position, and the locking plate is configured to enable removal of the lower hitch pin from the lower hook while the locking plate is in an open position. The locking assembly also includes an actuator coupled to the locking plate and configured to be coupled to the main support of the three-point hitch quick coupler. The actuator is configured to drive the locking plate to move between the open and closed positions.

Abstract: A tool for installing a blind fastener including a bolt and a nut includes a base, collet, socket assembly, drive body, and mode clutch. The collet is coupled to the base and disposed about an axis. The collet can selectively engage a portion of the nut. The socket assembly includes a socket housing and a plurality of rollers. The socket housing is rotatable relative to the collet and defines a bore disposed about the axis. The rollers are spaced circumferentially about the axis. A surface of each roller can engage a cylindrical portion of the bolt within the bore to rotate the bolt about the axis. The drive body is coupled to the socket housing and configured to rotate the socket housing about the axis relative to the base. The mode clutch is configured to selectively couple the socket housing with the collet for common rotation about the axis.

Abstract: An electric VTOL aeronautical apparatus is disclosed that has folding wings each having an inboard wing portion coupled to an outboard portion via a hinge. Folding wings are known to be used during flight, although using a motor to fold and unfold the wings. In the present disclosure, the motor with its concomitant weight and complication is obviated or reduced by making the rotational axis of the hinge such that end of the hinge on the leading edge of the wing is displaced more outboard and lower than the end of the hinge on the trailing edge to allow the wing to fold and unfold passively. When in forward flight, a folded wing has more of the underside of the wing facing the flow, which pushes the wing upward, i.e., unfolding the wing. When the aeronautical apparatus transitions to vertical flight, gravity pulls the wings downward into the folded position.

The strength layer includes a polymeric material in which is embedded a plurality of reinforcing fibers. A method of manufacturing a fiber optic cable includes mixing a base material in an extruder. A strength layer is formed about an optical fiber. The strength layer includes a polymeric film with embedded reinforcing fibers disposed in the film. The base material is extruded through an extrusion die to form an outer jacket.

Abstract: A vehicle having a powered tailgate is provided. The vehicle includes a body, a powered tailgate pivotally connected to the body, an actuator operatively coupled to the tailgate to move the tailgate between open and closed positions, and sensors configured to sense an object in a swing path of the tailgate. The vehicle also includes a controller for processing signals output from the sensor and identifying and classifying the object, and controlling the actuator to move the tailgate between the open and closed positions based on the classified object.

Abstract: Techniques for notification handling based on identity and physical presence are described and may be implemented to determine whether to route a notification from a first device (e.g., a mobile device) to a second device (e.g., a display device) for output at the second device. Generally, the described implementations utilize sensor data captured at a physical location to detect and/or identify persons present at the physical location and to determine whether to route notifications between devices based on the detected persons/identities.

Abstract: A solid, multi-plastic handlebar is provided. The handlebar includes an inner substrate component made of a load-bearing, structural plastic material. In one embodiment, the substrate component includes a first set of circumferentially-spaced, longitudinally-extending locking members. The handlebar also includes an outer component overlying the substrate component and made of a plastic material less rigid than the plastic material of the substrate component. The outer component is configured to be gripped by a human hand. The outer component includes a second set of circumferentially-spaced, longitudinally-extending locking members which interlock with the first set of locking members to mechanically lock the substrate component and the outer component together.
