Abstract: A system and method for automatically delivering a substance to an animal or fish including a positioning system that positions each animal singularly and a sensor that detects the location of a predetermined targeted area on the animal. The system further includes a delivery device for delivering a substance to the targeted area. The position of the delivery device may be adjustable. The delivery device is in communication with the sensor. The delivery device adjusts its position in response to the data received from the sensor and delivers a substance to the targeted area.

Abstract: A session management function (SMF) receives, from a wireless device, a packet data unit (PDU) session establishment request message requesting establishment of a PDU session associated with an application and offloaded processing of data from the wireless device to an application server associated with the application. The SMF sends, to the wireless device, a response message indicating a rejection or an acceptance of the offloaded processing of data.

Abstract: An addition reaction curing type polyorganosiloxane composition for bonding poly(phenylene sulfide) resins includes (A) a polyorganosiloxane containing two or more alkenyl groups in the molecule, (B) a polyorganohydrogensiloxane having, in the molecule, three or more silicon-atom-bonded hydrogen atoms, (C) a platinum-based catalyst, (D) an oxide or carbonate of a metal selected from among the metals in Groups 2 and 12 of the periodic table, and (E) an adhesion promoter, the content of the ingredient (D) being 0.1-20 wt % with respect to the whole composition.

Abstract: Systems and methods for improving the reliability of non-volatile memory by reducing the number of memory cell transistors that experience excessive hole injection are described. The excessive hole injection may occur when the threshold voltage for a memory cell transistor is being set below a particular negative threshold voltage. To reduce the number of memory cell transistors with threshold voltages less than the particular negative threshold voltage, the programmed data states of the memory cell transistors may be reversed such that the erased state comprises the highest data state corresponding with the highest threshold voltage distribution. To facilitate programming of the memory cell transistors with reversed programmed data states, a non-volatile memory device structure may be used in which the bit line connections to NAND strings comprise direct poly-channel contact to P+ silicon and the source line connections to the NAND strings comprise direct poly-channel contact to N+ silicon.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods of using an augmented reality trigger to locate and/or read a Data Code in an image. A method according to this disclosure may include the step of using an augmented reality trigger in an image to initiate an augmented reality experience, locating portions of Data Code arrange in a plurality of locations within the image, and combining each of the Data Code portions for processing as a unified Data Code. The augmented reality trigger may be stored in a data set including location information to locate each of the Data Code portions. The data set may include information to combine the plurality of Data Code portions.

Abstract: Examples are disclosed that relate to sensing a position of a surface proximate to a resonant LC sensor. One example provides a method on a sensing device comprising one or more resonant LC sensors each configured to output a signal responsive to a position of a surface proximate to the resonant LC sensor. The method comprises, for each LC sensor, generating an oscillating signal on an antenna of the resonant LC sensor and detecting a near-field response of the resonant LC sensor at a selected frequency.

One example provides a wireless device comprising a radio, a driven antenna connected to the radio, a ground plane, and one or more parasitic antennas. Each parasitic antenna connects to the ground plane via a switch operable to change an antenna pattern of the driven antenna.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an identity network that can provide a universal, digital identity for users that can be used to authenticate the user by an identity provider for relying parties. The identity network receives a request from a relying party that includes deep linking to an identity provider selected by the user. The request specifies the user as well as any other information about the user the relying party is requesting. A service of the identity network launches the application for the identity provider on the user's device using a software development kit. The user can log into the identity provider's application, which validates the user and provides the user authentication/validation and information about the user to the identity network. The identity network can then provide the indication of the user's authentication and the user information to the relying party.

Abstract: A stowable stacked receiver has a fixed drawbar portion that allows affixation to a towing vehicle. Attached to the fixed drawbar portion is a movable stacked receiver that can pivot between a use and a stowed position. In the use position, the stacked receivers can receive a removable drawbar in a plurality of positions, and the stacked receivers are adjacent a flat surface on the fixed drawbar portion. In the stowed position, the stacked receivers are located underneath the fixed drawbar portion. A locking pin can be used to secure the movable stacked receiver in either the use or stowed position.

Abstract: A woven laminated plastic bag having features that further prevent leakage of contents out of the bag, or infestation of organisms into the contents of the bag is provided. In various aspects the bag can be fabricated from woven polypropylene and/or polyethylene layer which can be laminated with a film layer, can form a pinch bottom bag, and can have one or both sides include graphics and/or printing. The bag can also provide a top end and/or a bottom end either or both of which provide a discrete area which may contain discrete graphics and/or printing.

Abstract: Implementations of a semiconductor package may include one or more semiconductor die directly coupled to only a direct leadframe attach (DLA) leadframe including two or more leads; and a coating covering the one or more semiconductor die and the DLA leadframe where when the semiconductor package is coupled into an immersion cooling enclosure, the coating may be in contact with a dielectric coolant while the two or more leads extend out of the immersion cooling enclosure.

Abstract: A foldable touch screen display device made up of flexible display segments that can be folded from a compact state to an expanded state which also includes an aperture that can retract parallel to the respective planes of each flexible display segment structure. The form factor of the compact state is roughly the size of a typical handheld phone or smaller. The form factor of the expanded state is roughly the size of a larger phone or tablet computer, which may also have the size and mechanical functionality of a laptop. The device may also have a flip phone configuration. Both folded states may include an integrated speaker and microphone. The device may also be folded 360 degrees about a hinge such that it can fold to a compact folded state in one direction with its flexible display segments facing inward towards each other, or to an inverted compact folded state in the opposite direction such that the flexible display segments are facing outward along the device's segment structures.

Abstract: Methods of fabricating fiber structures with embedded sensors are provided. The method includes obtaining a scaffold fiber and forming, by 1½-D printing using laser induced chemical vapor deposition, circuitry on the scaffold fiber to provide a fiber structure with embedded sensor. The forming includes printing a solid state oscillator about the scaffold fiber, and printing a sensing device about the scaffold fiber electrically coupled to the solid state oscillator to effect, at least in part, oscillations of the solid state oscillator. The forming further includes printing an antenna about the scaffold fiber electrically connected to the solid state oscillator to facilitate in operation wireless transmitting of a signal from the fiber structure with embedded sensor.

The first bayonet connector assembly may detachably couple with a second bayonet connector assembly of an outlet assembly to establish a bayonet interface connection between the reservoir and the outlet assembly, such that the conduit is in fluid communication with the exterior of the reservoir assembly through an interior of the outlet assembly.

Abstract: A security system can be configured to mount to a power outlet. The security system can include an outwardly facing portion configured to face away from the power outlet and an inwardly facing portion having a first electrical prong and a second electrical prong that protrude into the power outlet to mount the security system to the power outlet. The security system can also include a detection system comprising a camera and a motion detector.

Abstract: Apparatuses and techniques are described for programming data in memory cells while concurrently storing backup data. One or more initial pages of data are programmed into both a primary block and a first backup block in a first program pass. A power loss then occurs which can corrupt the data or otherwise prevent reading of the one or more initial pages of data from the primary block. The one or more initial pages of data are read from the first backup block and used to perform a second program pass in which one or more additional pages of data are programmed into the primary block. Single bit per cell data can be stored in a second backup block to decode the one or more initial pages of data as read from the first backup block.

Abstract: Identification of services that carry the same or equivalent content. A reception apparatus includes circuitry configured receive first service information for a first service included in a first broadcast stream, and receive second service information for a second service included in a second broadcast stream. The first service is associated with a first virtual channel number and the second service is associated with a second virtual channel number. The circuitry is configured to determine whether the first service included in the first broadcast stream contains the same programming content as a service included in another broadcast stream based on the first service information. The first service information includes an identifier included in the second service information when the first service included in the first broadcast stream contains the same programming content as the second service included in the second broadcast stream.

Abstract: Implementations of semiconductor devices may include a die coupled over a lead frame, a redistribution layer (RDL) coupled over the die, a first plurality of vias coupled between the RDL and the die, and a second plurality of vias coupled over and directly to the lead frame. The second plurality of vias may be adjacent to an outer edge of the semiconductor device and may be electrically isolated from the die.
