Abstract: A cutting system includes knives attached to a continuously moving belt-type carrier. The carrier motion moves the knives past stationary counterknife fingers which are attached to or uniform with a cutterbar, as the cutting system is driven through a field of crop stalks, which are cut by the interaction between the knives and counterknives. One or more sensing devices produce signals or images related to the condition of the knives when the knives are moving past the sensing devices. A processing unit processes the signals or images and derives therefrom one or more parameters representative of the condition of the knives, and compares the parameters to a reference, to thereby monitor the condition. An agricultural implement such as a combine harvester, can be equipped with the cutting system.

  • Publication number: 20220405190
Abstract: Technology is disclosed herein for semi receiver side write training in a non-volatile memory system. The transmitting device has delay taps that control the delay between a data strobe signal and data signals sent on the communication bus. The delay taps on the transmitting device are more precise that can typically be fabricated on the receiving device (e.g., NAND memory die). However, the receiving device performs the comparisons between test data and expected data, which alleviates the need to read back the test data. After the different delays have been tested, the receiving device informs the transmitting device of the shortest and longest delays for which data was validly received. The transmitting device then sets the delay taps based on this information. Moreover, the write training can be performed in parallel on many receiving devices, which is very efficient.

  • Publication number: 20220406390
Abstract: Systems and methods for improving the reliability of non-volatile memory by reducing the number of memory cell transistors that experience excessive hole injection are described. The excessive hole injection may occur when the threshold voltage for a memory cell transistor is being set below a particular negative threshold voltage. To reduce the number of memory cell transistors with threshold voltages less than the particular negative threshold voltage, the programmed data states of the memory cell transistors may be reversed such that the erased state comprises the highest data state corresponding with the highest threshold voltage distribution. To facilitate programming of the memory cell transistors with reversed programmed data states, a non-volatile memory device structure may be used in which the bit line connections to NAND strings comprise direct poly-channel contact to P+ silicon and the source line connections to the NAND strings comprise direct poly-channel contact to N+ silicon.

Abstract: Apparatuses and methods are disclosed for managing network connections. A computing device accesses a request to provision a network connection associated with a first device. The request includes a plurality of connection parameters defining desired specifications for a network connection from the first device to a second device. The connection parameters are validated against information from a database and other predetermined rules. A network connection path is generated to connect the first device with the second device. The network connection path is generated by selecting network elements for the network connection that satisfy the connection parameters. Configuration information for the network elements of the network connection path is aggregated for a configuration system. The configuration information is used to provision the network connection.

Abstract: Apparatuses and techniques are described for programming data in memory cells while concurrently storing backup data. One or more initial pages of data are programmed into both a primary block and a first backup block in a first program pass. A power loss then occurs which can corrupt the data or otherwise prevent reading of the one or more initial pages of data from the primary block. The one or more initial pages of data are read from the first backup block and used to perform a second program pass in which one or more additional pages of data are programmed into the primary block. Single bit per cell data can be stored in a second backup block to decode the one or more initial pages of data as read from the first backup block.
